Hello friend thanks for the video: 1.why two plates not considered while calculating section modulus required? 2.how to calculate bearing length? 3.in calculation of Iz for deflection you have simply divided the cg of one plate by two....you should have calculated Iz for both the plates separately as their location are different and the added it with Iz of I section.

Based upon plastic section modulas. Section having more plastic section modulas should be take
