He sure made things happen for himself. He certainly worked hard because he has a ton of movies that he did over the years. Thank you for watching Arleen!
Love this idea of Hollywood Heroes and I've always loved this actor. Family oriented and a veteran. One of the few I've seen that didn't let Hollywood go to his head and stayed grounded. Great episode.
Thank you for watching Sheila. He did seem to stay grounded to who he was. Not everyone can do that in Hollywood and especially so with how long he was in the business.
Super episode, he was always one of my favorites, thank you for his story, presented in your way. can't wait to see your next choice. You just do great work on your subjects. Thank you...
I love Bronson. He's my favorite actor hands down. I don't really understand why anyone would say he was unattractive. I mean, he isn't your typical leading man type but I like guys with a little character in their face. I love that he seemed to be madly in love with Jill. Bronson was a great actor and seemed like a kind man. His movies always bring me joy
He was definitely one of the greats and some of his movies were absolutely huge! It really is incredible to see how many he has done. Thank you for watching Matthew!
Was just thinking about Once Upon a Time in the West (as I often do). Not long before that I had tried to explain the iconic harmonica tones to someone who had never seen the film. What a great movie. Bronson was one of the best. R.I.P., sir.
I'm a big fan of the old westerns. The music is just as iconic as the shows or films were. Sergio was a master at getting the right music in there and I feel these newer westerns are missing that. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Mr. Majestic would be proud that video. Charles Bronson was a family favorite. There were many heros in the old Hollywood and a few in the new. Is this going to be a new series?
Charles was one heck of an actor and he has so many films and shows credited to him. I think he worked harder than most do now. You're tight about us missing some of these heros now. This is going to be a new series that I will pepper in here and there in between the regular content that you have always seen. I think what these people have done is amazing and I want to make sure they are remembered for their service. They will be in this short little biography style. Thank you for watching Devin!
When Kurt Russell was about 10 or so,he did a movie with Bronson. On Bronsons b day,Russell gave Bronson gave a b day present of a skateboard or something. Russell said Bronson acted like he was deeply touched by the gesture.
He was a great actor but never knew he served? that's new for me as he was a hero to me in his films. My favorite was The Mechanic He is someone people will remember for many years to come Great video Rhetty Thankyou for sharing tis Loved it
He certainly has a lot of films to choose from. I'm not even sure how you can watch some of them if you don't own them. Thank you for watching Lindsay!
His story is a story you hear all over the coal fields of Southwestern PA for people of that generation. Immigrants that lived piss poor, started working in the mines at an early age, family members killed in the mines. Most joined the military in WW2 not only to serve, but going to war was actually an escape from their daily hell in the mining towns.
Very nice video. Back in the late ‘60’s or early ‘70’s there was a comedian who did impressions. One of his impressions was of Charles Bronson in the “Great Escape”. The impression was “Bronson” saying: “I dug a hundred yards of tunnel (pause) with my face!” Mr. Bronson has always been one of my favorites. Thank you again!
This was an awesome tribute to Charles Bronson I always loved his movies I love all the action movies the Death Wish movies were so good thank you very much for this wonderful video about him I hope you have a good evening
He really did have a lot of great movies. He is certainly one of the biggest draws that Hollywood has ever seen. Thank you for watching Marlene and I appreciate you watching.
I always liked Charles Bronson as an actor as well. In my time was his notable film Deathwish. I was a hairdresser in the late '80's & my manager had worked in an LA clothing store the early 80's said CB walked in, my mgr knew who he was but treated him like a regular customer asking Hi can I help you? His response was a 2 words 😂
This was a great one. Love Bronson. Just watched The Mechanic again. I remember as a kid my dad taking us to see The Great White Buffalo at the drive inn. Good timea. Thanks so much. Safe travels
Those are both really good movies. The Drive-Ins were great too and I don't understand why they aren't as popular as they once were. Thank you watching Kenneth.
Deathwish was huge! White Buffalo was another that has probably been forgotten over time. He sure was a busily man in the film industry. Thank you for watching Miss Heird!
Rhett, I really enjoyed this video about entertainer and serviceman/hero, Charles Bronson. I'd heard he had a "rough and tough" early life, but I had no idea to what extent it really was, until you informed us in this video. I've seen countless movies of actor, Charles Bronson over the years and enjoyed them, especially the Westerns. Great investigation, presentation and photos, too. Have a fantastic weekend. Take care 🐎

He is definitely one of the Hollywood greats. I wanted to make sure he is remembered for his service as well even if we don't know too much. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the video. One of my favorite actors. What a life for a kid from the coalmines. Many of my favorite actors were veterans. Like most from the WWII generation they did not talk about the bad days in combat. James Arness never pointed his gun directly at anyone in all those Gunsmoke shootouts. And there was the most decorated Audie Murfree whose death was a huge setback for the treatment and diagnosis of PTSD.
James Arness and John Wayne sort of had that same sort of thoughts on pointing the gun and showing violence. They were both friends too. I will definitely be covering more veterans from this era. Thank you for watching James!
Great video! I recently found Bronson's (Buchinsky) childhood home and mine he worked in. It was interesting to interview the locals of his hometown to hear how they feel about him now.
Great actor I remember him most from The Magnificent Seven and The Great Escape. Another great video Rhetty. Have you ever done a video on the actor and War hero Audie Murphy?

Hey Rhett, there were things about Bronson that I was not aware of. Did not know that he was a control gunner on a B29. This man really made a name for himself. I think his childhood taught him how to work hard and be grateful for what he had. It really is incredible to see how many projects he was involved in. Bronson was very busy up until the last few years of his life. Many of his movies are iconic and I have watched many of them over and over. Thank you for watching my friend!
