This song reminds me of being in the wilderness and watching rain begin to fall on the mountain moorlands. I live in a very mountainous country and I went on a trek to a beautiful crater lake. The last day was really arduous and the trail got hard to follow- we also lost a lot of time because we got caught in a fierce hailstorm and had to shelter in an abandoned farmhouse. We finally got to the crater lake in late afternoon; tired, hungry and feeling the chill of evening set in through our windbreakers and fleeces. This song reminds me of in that moment, looking out over the dark expanse of the lake, set deep in an ancient volcano, as rain began to sweep in from the north and thunder began to boom uncomfortably close to us. It really captures the strange feeling of being absolutely captivated by the majesty of nature and also feeling an undercurrent of danger and dread- brought about by the prevailing weather conditions somehow reminding me of the fragility of my life.
I then proceeded to get hopelessly lost, finally finding my way to a village on the other side of the crater after a harrowing two hours in the freezing wet twilight.
Fabulous. What a wonderful find.
I would be so incredibly happy if sheet music ever came out for this song. I would love to learn the techniques used - so enchanting.
Amazing
thank you, I'm digging this, and it's helps me writing right now:
We still have power, power of the people cannot be measured
. There is power of love, power of music, power of empathy and community.
Thanks for share
Great works.
pretty soothing.
Beautiful song! Anyone else think it sounds similar to the beginning of the Beauty and the Beast? (animated version)
Yes, I thought that's what it was at first...
Why does this song make me feel so anxious D:
Because it perfectly captures anxiety.
