  • Our friends at 'Istari' who are fellow conservationists in the Clarence Valley have had Tree Troff installed for a few years and it's a wildlife hotspot! Watch a brush-tailed phascogale struggle to decide between drinking or keeping a mouthful of feathers-it couldn't do both! When the trough disappeared for maintenance one night, it was hilarious to see the phascogale utterly baffled. Later, a glider made a spectacular leap after finding the water, while a satin bowerbird and an eastern yellow robin turned the trough into a birdbath. And don't miss the goanna, who tried to squeeze in for a bath! Nature at its best, all caught on camera! Thanks to Terry and Ian from Istari for sharing this footage, and to WIRES, Clarence Environment Centre and Land for Wildlife for supplying us with a Tree Troff.
Stay tuned for footage from Banyula!
