Spacey was an awesome actor. Really surprised he hasn't been rehabilitated and given a decent role. His personal habits aside, he committed no crimes. His behavior has cost him millions. Not many actors of his abilities left since Philip Seymour Hoffman died.
I always interpreted the ending literally. He was an alien here researching. He does have the means to travel between planets, but needs some kind of vessel to do so, hence why he took somebody with him. He really did know the planet location, he couldn't have faked that, surely? I know Spacey has fallen from grace, to put it mildly, but these 'slightly mentally weird' characters really are amazing. I think he does a great job in this movie.
The clever "mistake" 2023 was made to generate comments because most content creators out there know most viewers are desperate to correct whatever mistake they come across 😅 seems like it worked...
There's a moment in the movie where the doc presses K-Pax man to admit he is in fact Porter. He says: "I can for the moment admit that I'm Porter if you can for the moment admit that I'm from K-Pax". It tells a lot about our human convictions of what we are convinced we know for sure
Thank you for giving me the possibility to travel back in time on all those times when i saw the movie either alone or together with someone special. A masterpiece.
I still can't believe how he managed to keep his sunglasses off even at the beginning. Cops would've DEFINITELY ripped them off when arresting him. Especially at the station when taking his picture and whatnot. You're telling me nobody wanted to see his eyes?! 😂 Great movie though!
OK this movie needs to be considered part of the Mandela effect because I could’ve sworn I have seen this movie before however I did not watch it in 2023. It was way before 2023.
My favorite part of K-PAX (2023) is when Prot gets the job at the fast food joint and his ex-wife pulls up to the drive through. Also its crazy that he goes on after the planetarium scene to become president of the US and then gets away with a huge heist by faking a disability.
Kevin Spacey's shitstorm aside, I liked this movie, but there are several issues I have with it. The opening scene is not believable. I believe it could have been written better. He hadn't done anything wrong even if he claimed to be from another planet. Given that NYC is filled with nut cases walking the street, provided they don't harm others cops leave them alone, otherwise they would constantly be filling out unwanted paperwork and wasting time with non-criminals. The other problem is when Prot demonstrates his ability to travel at the speed of light. Even if he had travelled to Pluto at that speed, the amount of time that would have passed on Earth would have been 11 hours (round trip). The scientist never ask him where he travelled to and from, which wasn't realistic. The other item was the screen where he draws the orbit path, then they put the info in to the computer showing an exact match for the diagram Prot drew. This scene doesn't make sense. What exactly are the writers trying to prove?
Comments y,all are tripping,,and angry,, believe in what you like ppl have the choice what part don't you get ,stop hating on ppl ,Stop being a arse ,,✨
Just a note and something I wanted to fix. K-Pax came out in 2001, not 2023. Not sure what I was thinking there, apologies!
..but No One Believed Him
No Diddy! 😅😂😅😅😂😅😂
🤣 Yes, I was looking at a couple of actors thinking they looked really young for 2023
As soon as I saw Kevin Spacey I thought he is back at Hollywood!
Just re-upload with the corrections, no harm done
I think the most unbelievable thing about the movie is that an 'eccentric' person with no insurance was given such significant psychiatric care
😂😂😂
heh, tell me you are american without telling me you are american
Not all countrys are the US
Hence not every US-State has bad free medical care
Ikr
... in the USA. Some other places it is the norm.
Hey Cap, pretty sure K-Pax screened in 2001, not 2023. I was like "Really? Wasn't Kevin Spacey recently shunned for supreme human shittiness?"
Ahhh you’re right. Not sure how that slipped by me. Apologies! I’ll pin this so everyone can see the note.
Spacey was an awesome actor. Really surprised he hasn't been rehabilitated and given a decent role. His personal habits aside, he committed no crimes. His behavior has cost him millions. Not many actors of his abilities left since Philip Seymour Hoffman died.
I was wondering why Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges looked 20 years younger in this movie. 🤣
@@Fantastic_Captain Lots of movies on streaming sites are incorrectly tagged for release year.
Right early 2000's

Have you seen 'The life of David Gale'?
@@mospeada1152so good.

Glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed
I had no idea it was about this movie I've already seen, thanks for the bit of awareness on the cover that had me succumb to this deceitful strategy
As someone who has been inpatient at a psychiatric facility, i can confidently say that none of that shit would happen there.
Agreed. Great story but complete fiction
You mean everything that happened in the movie was not real?
There's a moment in the movie where the doc presses K-Pax man to admit he is in fact Porter.
He says: "I can for the moment admit that I'm Porter if you can for the moment admit that I'm from K-Pax".

I had totally forgotten this movie! Thanks for sharing! Great story.
I find it funny that the psychiatrist in this movie also came from another planet and made it back home in Starman.
i want to know how he got out of the grid.
Lol. My Mum loved that movie. It was pretty good. Beau Bridges?
@katehack1677 i forgot there was two Bridges.. I double checked and Starman was Jeff Bridges.
I still can't believe how he managed to keep his sunglasses off even at the beginning. Cops would've DEFINITELY ripped them off when arresting him. Especially at the station when taking his picture and whatnot. You're telling me nobody wanted to see his eyes?! 😂 Great movie though!
K-PAX
2001 not 2023?
I saw the 2023 and thought they redid it.
Not I.. I saw it said "Lol clearly CHANNEL OWNER either has very little regard for the movies he covers or made a very negligent slip up "
so this is where he was before working for Stark Industries
The movie was a re-interpretation of an older movie called “The Man Facing South East”
Today they no longer put the insane away, too many.
So they randomly kidnapped this non violent innocent civilian🤨🤨🤨
Holy shit at all you people in the comments FREAKING OUT about the wrong year. As if that makes the movie harder to find, at all. Chill sheesh
17:23 I watched this move several times & only now recognized Aaron Paul in the final scene
This movie looks way too good to have come out as recently as 2023. So, 2001 is much more believable, when a few good movies still came out.
This is a great movie
And Kevin is a good man
Done bad by a vindictive man
You speak as if you know Kevin personally, if you don't know him personally then you have no idea about KS.
@EricSkeptical you have no idea who I am. I'll leave it like this.
My favorite scene when i was a kid watching this movie was how he ate a banana with the peel on
Kevin plays odd best😅
"A very strong drug was administered to him but he had no reaction at all". The same can't be said for -Kevin- K-pax's victims.
Never convicted!
Innocent until proven guilty!!!
Great movie
This is definitely a fantastic movie. Thanks for letting us know about it
I loved this movie when it came out
Never knew about it but I want to see it now
How did he trick the scientists?
Hey Bro Which do you use voice generation and video editing
The book was great!
Earth is a primitive, underdeveloped world.
Yep 🙄
Good movie.
all good, mistakes happen, 2001 movie. i enjoy your voice, helps me sleep and helpful for movie choices
That ain't dudes voice that is text to voice
Not his voice he uses text to speech.
Beautiful film
That’s Jesse Pinkman at the end!
Fix the video, this came out in 2001
OK this movie needs to be considered part of the Mandela effect because I could’ve sworn I have seen this movie before however I did not watch it in 2023. It was way before 2023.
It's from 2001, he was just mistaken on the release date
Your actually correct!!
2:56 - and everyone knows you should treat your patients with condescension 🤦♂
Awesome. ❤
He's here on earth because he owes a lot of money to a lot of people back on his own planet.
4:44 i thought the same of your species, when you said reproduction was "painful, nauseous, etc" 😅
Yes ofc an alien who comes in human form not to be detected, gladly tells everyone hes an alien.
I knew I saw this movie LONG ago, certainly not last year.
imagine, in this movie he's both, Alien AND Predator
Healing without drugs ? Hospitals don’t like that 😂
This film is not from 2023, it is much older.
I love this movie
He looks more like 3460 years old 😂
Is...this advanced warfare?
a brilliant film...
Well they got the dumb corrupt police right in the movie
K pax is from like 2001-2002
Hey is Jessie Pinkman the doctors son at the end? lol
Why am I seeing a 21 year old movie review?
Same old line the cops never asking the right questions to find out his identity and it is dangerous to assume as you can see.
It’s 2001 movie not 2023

This movie did not come out in 2023 wtf i saw this in theatres when it came out
I love this film.
It was not in 2023. It was many years ago.
Jesse Pinkman 17:20
👏👏👏
I really Hate open for interpretation endings that's not a ending it's just lazy writing
💯
Maybe it’s just lazy viewing 😊
Same, it drives me nuts.
I think the Alien inhabited the human body. He did take the woman after all.
@@MsThangz right i saw this movie as a kid and was like "man this sucks" i need to rewatch this. very interesting story as an adult.
We now know this guy's delusions were caused by trauma after escaping Kevin Spacey dungeon.
Makes no sense.
K-PAX WAS RELEASED IN 2001
Recap on interesting scary horror movie too
Will do! Any requests?
NYC closed all its mental hospitals.
The movie is back to 2001 not 2023
This movie did not come out in 2023
I like the movie but the book ia amazing.
Cool story
bro
2023 🧐 🤔 you missed maybe quarter of century. 😂 Good movie 🍿
So the mad people are the ones looking at this movie.
K-pax is not from 2023
Nice recap 😂
17:20 - Aaron Paul.
2:50 😅
2023 hu? Yeah naw.
Why do you deliberately use the wrong date and make it difficult to find the film?

This movie did not come out 2023 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Are you telling a story out of a movie 😢😢😢 how sad are you really
This movie was idiotic.
The premise was dumb.
The resources used to indulge this guys delusions are completely unrealistic, and make zero sense.

He went to them Diddy parties. 🤪

Why does it say K:PAX (2023)? It was released in 2001
These chat gpt videos are getting old
hated the way this movie depicted mental illness and hospitals.
you want them to make a movie or a documentary?
@@braydendoughertydoesn't have to be black and white

Wow! I was all set to go find this 2023 Keven Spacy movie that, I had apparently overlooked, when I saw the young Jeff Bridges. Fooled again.
😂
Such terrible narration. Ruins everything from the very beginning.
The movie is called King Kong vs Godzilla.
he jumped 22 years into the future and re-released the DVD of himself? Sure this came out 2001..**EDIT..abort abort, it does say that.
Wow. I really don't want to see this.
7 moons? unlikely
