His designs are good and this one definitely appeals to me. It’s a great design!
That’s a a good knife to fidget with all day and the price is great.
Another awesome twosun this one is a cool design love the inlays and the multiple deployment methods great review
Really liking the look of this one 👍
I won this baby for $77 last night!! So excited!!! I lost it at $105 a couple days before. Can't wait to get it. Best looking two sun made in my opinion.
It’s got an aggressive, “stabby” stance, without being wild looking. All its lines are tight together, parallel and directed forward. A nice, and except for the non-stainless steel, maybe great knife!
I watched this video late, but this knife is being formed for more than that. It's over 115 dollars now, and I love the design of the jelly. So I took this opportunity to buy it. Above all, I was impressed by your video. Peace!
I feel like twosun just snatched the money out of my pocket, holy crap I need one of these!
They got this in their yj01-v1 now. I was curious enough about it to pick one up for
Great vid
The 'beads' you refer to is just fine milled texturing. It resembles 'tool chatter' which is un-intentional during machining but this texturing is obviously intentional. I like it a lot. The Front Flipper tab sucks.
There goes my right arm. Good job sir!
😆
@@NeevesKnives Hey, check your Instagram messages.
Really good knives rarely go cheap, no matter how long you wait!
What oil do you recommend?
I know I’m late to this party but I got this about a month ago on Amazon and then made us D2. I wonder why they changed it.
Awesome knife! Jelly Jerry's designs are crazy cool
Hes a great designer we definitely like a lot of the same features
I finally got one! This thing is awesome. I was doing the snoopy dance when I got the Mail.
Like a puppy with a new chew toy 👊
@@NeevesKnives or a puppy with 2 peckers!!
Only complaint are the pivot pins.... everything else looks quality
Jerry is a friend of mine, and ya know what? He's only 17!!! The kid - MAN - is a Natural Born Blade God, and I love his work. May even collaborate on a few in the future. Mazwan collaborated on my last one, and he's amazing too!!! If not for him, my TS234 Kodiak would still be just a vision in my head... Oh, and check out Jelly's TS225-Xerxes. That thing is straight-up WICKED...
So yours is the 234? I didnt know Jelly jerry was only 17 thats crazy!!! Ya nd awesome but i never woulda thought huge future ahead, I love the 226 the 223 is my favorite though
@@NeevesKnives Yep. First TwoSun with a finger hole, first TwoSun with an IKBS bearings system, and (presently), the record holder for highest TwoSun Sandvik sold (first one sold for $281), AND I got the number "234", which my OCD side adores, LoL. Working on a Karambit with the finger hole (so 2 finger holes, and a dual-locking {Karambit & straight open} blade stop), and a few other treats. Hopefully we'll see her (the "Bad Karma") soon!
@@BCSnider71 oh hell yeah Thats awesome, yeah i seen those going for quite a bit im stuck on that new one with the thumbstuds that are also the stop pin cant remember the model
@@NeevesKnives There are a few with studs; the TS138, the 180, the 100, the 09, quite a few, LoL... That's the problem; Just when you find one you REALLY fall in lust with, they release 3 or 4 more and then you're just lost.
Just snagged this one off white mountain. $85 shipped. 👍🏻
Nice! Good for you
I’ve got a bid right now on eBay, $365 on a $700 knife. Wish me luck! See my other remark.
I like it can't find one right now though
Im going to give it away to one of my patron members end of the month, but if you give it a couple days there will be more on ebay that where i get them also allie express
Check past auction results and stick to the average price. If they put in dummy bids then you haven't been ripped off.
Why do all the descriptions say this blade is d2 and you say it's 14c29 or whatever?
Because when I made this video it only came in 14c28n, now they have had trouble getting 14c28n so many of there models are d2
@@NeevesKnives thanks, which do you prefer? D2, 14c28n or m390? I'm just now starting to learn about the steels
Bump
Ooh I always wanted a Sebenza! Waaaaaait
Lol
That's a nice one
I've been carrying this knife for a while and I'd agree with everything you said about it. I'd also add that I found one big flaw with the design that really limits the types of tasks I'd safely use it for -- the lock bar. If I give the knife a full four finger grip and place my thumb on the spine, it's dangerously easy to accidentally disengage the lock and let the blade swing closed. This makes the knife suitable for light duty tasks like opening packages and such, but I wouldn't recommend doing much carving or anything that requires putting real stress on the blade.
Yeah some frame locks can do that especially with twisting I try to make sure I squeeze the lockbar stronger when holding
Some would say that a tip bigger is bragging rights 😂
I used to think I was the only one with that theory. I used to keep track of certain models to see when I could win one for a good price and I noticed that one specific model never sold for less than $27 but usually sold for more. 🤔
But, for a while now, I’ve won some and seen some dope models sold for cheap. So who knows? 🤷🏽♂️
And boy do I miss the pre pandemic TwoSun shipping. They’d get to my house ASAP (a week and a half max)
They are definitely getting back on track atleast it seems that way. I feel like if I win a knife for what I want to pay then I got an amazing deal because most people are always going to under bid, think of any WE knife or Reate knife if I asked you what you want to pay then show you the price, its going to be way more. So even if i pay a bit more than im still getting a deal. And if I really want I can get it for even cheaper I judt have to put some more time and effort into bidding
It looks like mod time. Love the knife thoe. my pockets are burning. Take care.😃
I always suspected that Twosun bids up the price of their knives. I’ve asked them on multiple occasions if they did that and of course they said no.
Yeah I always kind of thought that as well, ghost bid it up to atleast the cost but can you blame them, and these days they probably don't have to
That is extremely illegal on eBay. They would be kicked off if caught.
I know
Thanks for the thoughts! Which do you prefer, this or the TS129? How about specifically for fidgeting?
Bummer it's in d2.
Would bad be place of where it was made? Because 🇺🇸. Lol
do we really have to know where is your wife at? lol
