It really is bro. Usually I have to listen to a song a few times to get into it but I loved this from the first listen on the radio.
genius should make a mixing and mastering thing where they show how songs are mixed, i think it would be really cool
There’s a mix with the masters RUclips series that does a good job on that. There’s a specific video that features illangelo talking about how he mixed the weeknds vocals on Alone Again that really blew my mind. So much that went into JUST the vocals. It’s crazy you gotta check it out if you haven’t already.

its all by really expensive hardware that you probably dont have access to. Like you could boost 60hz on every DAW, but boosting 60hz on an industry leading console sounds absoloutly incredible.

Her best song. The most refreshing song I’ve heard in a long time. It felt so natural like a instant classic. I love the addition of real instrumental, I think that’s why I love it so much. To many artist are doing the same melodies and trap beats. Kiss Me More is that one song that comes on mid shuffle and instantly brightens the mood. Amazing work.

These guys behind the scenes are the ones who deserve the credit and fame for mainstream pop artists' songs (or most of them).
They also deserve credit, doja is an artists who collaborated on a lot of her songs she even produces a lot of her beats but producers are 100% overlooked too much

Love this whole deconstructed series. The highlight was listening to the noisy guitar track and how that doesn't even matter in the final mix. Makes me feel great about my setup and my noisy guitar tracks that I don't have to feel self conscious about anymore.

Dr. Luke doesn't have a production credit on this song, he has a songwriting credit. Notice that the producers in the video only talk about creating the backing track, not the topline vocal melody, which was presumably written by the numerous other people credited as writers, including Dr. Luke.
