Once upon a time they were at war, Sam couldn't stand Carly's interference in Jason's life (and who could blame her), Carly couldn't stand Jason being with Sam... after Jason's death, everything changed... They became friends, finally... I won't say best friends, because I don't think they would ever be, but at least they care about each other.

I think Bobbie sold it to her for a $1, i don't watch all the time so I think i read that is how she got it.
