Most of the pregnancy related problem is thought to be due to HCG becoz its a new hormone in women body.mechanism is not exactly understood till now.

@@yasminbano4675the reason for morning sickness is multifactorial, excessive B-HCG stimulates vomiting center in brain and progesterone also decreases GI motility, which leads to vomiting.

It is pregnancy becoz it starts with fertilization. Even though fetus is not formed.so anti D has to be given.
