Disney villain death cliches: 1. Usually night time 2. Raining/thunderstorm (most of the time) 3. They almost always scream/laugh just before falling to their death (or occasionally scream “NOOOOOOO!!!” while falling). 4. They have some sort of evil plan, which gets foiled because they fall to their deaths.
Seriously the poacher from Tarzan whose name is John Clayton should have been here. The guy gets tangled in vines and cuts the wrong vine with his sword and plummets to his death with the vine coiled around his throat snapping his spine
The added fact that you see Clayton hanging (albeit just his shadow) makes it even darker. And further more, it's amazing how more often that not, their deaths are "inadvertant suicide".
Y'know... anyone who's as obsessed with Disney as I am would know that the scream used for Maleficent's death, was also used for the Evil Queen in Snow White as well as in several shorts. So, I'm lead to wonder, what would Eleanor Audley's death scream actually sound like? Or Lucille Laverne's, for that matter?
Frollo's death should have definitely been higher than #10. And, although it is similar to Maleficent's death in "Sleeping Beauty", I approve the inclusion of Queen Narissa's death in "Enchanted." She was CREEPY! Susan Sarandon did the role justice.
Judge Claude Frollo (The Hunchback Of Notre Dame) Shan Yu (Mulan) Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) Professor Ratigan (The Great Mouse Detective) Queen Narissa (Enchanted) The Evil Queen (Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs) Gaston LeGume (Beauty & The Beast) Scar (The Lion King) Mother Gothel (Tangled) Dr. Facilier (The Princess & The Frog)
Wth kind of list? Ursula has the best Disney death of all time and she’s not even a top ten? She was IMPALED, struck by lightning and went out like the Kraken, taking the ship down with her tentacles.
Why was The Princess and the Frog rated G? That part where Dr. Facilier is dragged to hell (or whatever) is freaky. It definitely shouldn’t have gotten a G-rating. I think the MPAA was on drugs or something when they decided to go with a G-rating for that movie.
deaths come after the baddie has the upper hand and does a nya nya now you die moment. usually they slip or something ex machina-nish occurs. Rouke's death deserved some attention...he-man adventurer turned to living glass and sent to his doom by a skinny dweeb in hand to hand combat???

Notice how Disney villains seem to have a recurring theme of falling to their deaths.
And at number 1, THAT'S why you don't make deals with the devil.
The death of Claude Frollo is the Hellfire XD
Claude Frollo: and he shall smite the wicked and plunge them into the firery pit me: goodbye frollo falls into the fire on the ground.💀🔥

Statue: you know and I know where you’re going
I'm happy you had Dr. Facilier at number 1 but you left out Ursula who got impaled and Clayton who got hung.
The added fact that you see Clayton hanging (albeit just his shadow) makes it even darker. And further more, it's amazing how more often that not, their deaths are "inadvertant suicide".
Pause At 5:40 And you'll see skulls for Gaston's Pupils That Proves He Dies From His Increadibly Large As Hell Fall.

I didn’t see skulls...
Actually now that I look at it 11 months later, yes I see the skulls.
@@stupxz I sure did and it frightens me 😢
If some of these movies were released now, they'd be given a PG rating. Especially Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Great Mouse Detective

Dr. Facillier's death definitely pushed that G-rating. Should've been PG, for sure.

What's with Disney villains and falling? Was summer really bad for them or something, so they got to have a great fall?
falling is scary especially to kids and has the advantage of death occurring far away from the last face moment (i.e., "tastefully")
It’s less violent
I think Mother Gothel's and Frollo's death are the darkest!
Gaston's death haunts me to this day
Clayton from Tarzan had a darker one.
Originally Gaston’s death was going to be much darker than this in the actual film.
What!?
Scar's Death Is Only Number 3!??
I Think His Death Definitely Should Be The First!!!
Really being dragged into the underworld by Ur friends from the other side

Ya
Clayton accidentally hanged himself. He has to be number 1-
This is an unpopular opinion but...
I loved Dr Faciler!
It’s definitely the creepiest one. He gets dragged to hell with them singing his own theme song, basically asking him if he’s ready to actually die.
