5:15 Why do you think he's tilted? I saw KR challenger players (including highest echelon of pros like Ruler, Gumauysi, Teddy) take absolutely random fights during the laninig phase just for fun. I think it's just an asian servers thing: you try to do crazy things to get an advantage before 15m. or you get ff'ed on by your losing team. This player probably saw a bunch of low hp targets and since he's playing Akshan he decided to burger flip and try to get some kills. I don't think this had to do anything with tilt, players are playing like that there. I like the idea of the video tho, and I like that you tried to explain it on an actual example. I also like the message of "slow down, find good plays". However, I think this video misses the second part, which is way harder: how to find these good plays, especially when you're in a slow down mindset.
Thanks for the comment! I think the biggest evidence for the tilt is the massive shift in behavior. Why burgerflip when your teammates just inted? If you wanna fight, at least go fight when there is more opportunity and when you're more on beat with the rest of the team. I do agree the Eastern servers perma fight early, I LOVE watching the Chinese ladder especially where it's just skirmish skirmish skirmish. However, there is a MASSIVE difference between skirmishing and straight up inting - That play looked so off color and so delusional relative to the rest of the game (before and after) that it almost had to be emotionally charged at least a little bit. And that's really easy to empathize with as a GM player (although I have only ever played on NA), if you see 3 losing lanes and a gapped jg AND you lose a fight mid (with that level 2 gank and all) the pressure is almost insurmountable. For that second part, I agree I missed in articulating the point. The goal can't be to FIND the good plays, the goal has to be concede the opponent's strong side and react to enemy's poor plays. When the enemy is ahead, we lose our agency to create plays. It's up to us to react to the flaws in the enemy's plays. Anyways, really thoughtful comment! It made me reflect on my video in a really positive way and I have some really solid take aways to consider for my next video. Apprecite it!!
