OIL PAINTING TUTORIAL || Blending Oil Paints!

When people switch to oil paints they often talk about the struggle of blending their work without getting muddy colours.
In this video I talk about getting the balance of blending right as well as some specific techniques for you to try (see time stamps👇).

The soften 5:41
I gave these techniques names for clarity although I’m sure different artists have come up with their own names.

H E L P PLEEZE: Do you have any portrait painting videos that are slowed down so I can study them easier? I'm a good graphite portrait artist but I want to do oils. I love your technique of almost finishing an area as you go. That's what I'm used to doing with my graphite. Plus I love your skin tones you paint, so I'd like to try them out first of all. Thanks for any help.
