Yeah I have no experience with Hobby Grade RC cars so I can't say how well the Mattel one compares, but the lack of being able to make tight turns limits what you can do with it unless you have a huge space to drive it around.

I've seen some etailers and Mattel's own website selling it so I don't believe it's technically a Amazon exclusive but right now at least Amazon is the only major retailer I've seen selling the Multiverse version.
Yeah and truth is bigger isn't always better. I like the size better with this one over the Ultimate version. I understand why the Ultimate version is bigger but think this one goes better with the figures.

because I am a moc, mib collector. I open very few of my toys. I enjoy the way the boxes look unopened, the same way someone likes to display open figures I like to do the same with unopened boxes.
The detail and in some areas plastic is cheaper but then so it the toy. Overall though the look between the two is not significant enough to justify the difference in cost. The red box is better for displaying the toy since you can't actually see the toy in the Ultimate box unless you take the top off.
LOL well thats one way to go. If you have the money and space both have cool aspects to them. Hope you enjoy them and LMK which you end up liking better.
I thought the Multiverse version and RC version were the same body mold. Mattel should have just stripped out the electronics and gimmick for the Multiverse model. The bigger one looks better.

I suppose that is what it's supposed to do, but the wheels actually stick out farther than those panels so you wouldn't really be able to ram anything other than maybe people with them cause the wheels would hit first.

Best guess is the end of this year or early next. The bigger question is probably how many stores will actually carry it. The last two comic book waves seem to have had very little presence as mass retail stores, at least at the physical stores.

bought an older refurbished iPad Air. It has iOS 12.4.6 and the camera works. My wife's iPad has iOS 13.3.3 and it doesn't work. I paid $125.00 for the refurbished iPad. Got it from backmarket dot com. So, I guess it will work on iOS's up to iOS 13.0.
It now goes for only $169. That's a DAMN good deal for the Ultimate version. I only have the Multiverse version, but I may get the Ultimate one at this point due to the $80 price drop.
Seeing how most collectors might just want to use the JL batmobile as a display piece, I say the $60 multiverse is better to go with. Honestly i don't see people playing with the $260 version all the time, and this seems like it's better to go with.
I agree. I think the Ultimate version is probably meant to appeal more to kids with all the electronic features. The "BIG" Holiday gift for under the tree kinda thing.

Those Batmobiles look like great display pieces, but I will not pay $50 for ANY Batmobile that does not seat 2 action figures in the cockpit. That was the deal breaker for me. So I will pass on those Batmobiles. Try again Mattel.
