@@edwinflorian222 lockgrip has way better recoil control but more idle sway when ads and the ftac ripper is great not as much recoil control but way less sway when ads
Ftac ripper has the longest ads speed
@@aadamsheikh6030 that's what I use it for, I can hold on to the recoil of most guns in the game but that swaying will have you missing most of your shots

Cod should make a plane piece of board in the firing range to test for recoil.
I use the door too, i line up the sights to the door handle and shoot to see what attachments and tunes work best

Yes the bullets will go somewhere in the circle notice how to circle got thin but not shorter implying that the vertical recoil isn't affected but the horizontal recoil is affected greatly
I think you guys are the only CDL team that actually puts out videos like this to help everybody else. Good on you for that.
All you have to do is max the gun out and tune appropriately. BTW, maxing out a stat on the bar does not max the part or gun in that stat. Bringing it 85-90% does. Max it out than slide down or back slightly to watch the stat grow in two additional directions. After doing so, press and hold the range button and try the door method
Also, High velocity is the best for guns with high recoils because extending the stats on the ammo in the opposite direction of bullet velocity will give u 30 points of recoil control opposed to for example adding a barrel that only gives 5 points of recoil control and slower ads

@@JeckTheMan same. One of the pre-order bonuses was a variant of this attachment, so I was using it because it looked cool and seemed good from the in-game description. Pleasant surprise when data miners ID'd it as one of the best. Hopefully the season 2 update doesn't ruin it.

I find recoil very easy to control in cod so i rarely have to use a grip which is great because it frees up an attachment slot

Just use muzzle attachments that will help with vertical and horizontal recoil will take away most recoil

For any recoil I prefer to use the pineapple. I use the ripper for hip auccuracy
Honestly I was impressed with the edge-47 grip. That thing has earned its spot on every gun I use

I typically just run the Sharkfin or Agent grip and tune them for max aiming idle stability and recoil stabilization. Then I slap on a muzzle that correlates with the type of recoil. Sakin Tread 40 for more overall/vertical control, and FTAC Castle Comp for more horizontal control with a little vertical control. XclusiveAce made a video talking about the amount of control each muzzle has.
The vertical horizontal grips are some of the best period but some guns I think perform better with a suppressor for extra bullet velocity and range
@@JH-vb1wo the suppressors are bugged right now and can cancel out your Ghost perk for a short amount of time. Most of them also hurt your ADS speed really bad, whereas the recoil control muzzles only hurt your ADS by 40ms. I run the agent grip or sharkfin because unlike other COD games, aiming idle sway is always happening, even while firing. So those grips make your recoil much more predictable and easy to control.
Try using High Velocity ammo instead of suppressors. Using it won't hurt your ADS speed at all.

A good way to level up your guns is to go into plunder and do the safe cracker. When you open the last safe hold the gun you want to level up and you will get a guaranteed two to three level up on your weapon for every safe cracker mission you do

Merc grip and pineapple is the best on a lot of guns that need help with recoil badly. But for guns that don’t have much recoil u could use commando or ripper

At the end of the day it still comes down to preference and control. If you can't control the recoil it doesn't matter what grip you have. I usually like the recoil to go up, and just slightly aim down while shooting for easy headshots
For myself if I'm going for aiming recoil control I main ftac ripper it has good tuning for recoil control. All the stub/shaft style grips their tuning options are all based around hip fire recoil.
I have a personal pdsw class with is powerful, the bruen q900 barrel, the bruen q900 grip, the integrated sight rail, the armor piercing rounds, and the cq9 stock

Wayyy easier to pull down than to stabilize side to side recoil. Just negate the horizontal and pull down.
I never knew about the grip shapes but i always used the door as well to see patterns and just read the descriptions on what each grip will do.
