There was an easy listening station in Bridgeport CT that played this everyday at least twice. Listened to it at work and learned to play it on my fife & my flute after the third or fourth time . I learned Music Box dancer at a bar in Albuquerque the 2nd time I heard it in the late 70's and still play it. I love both songs.

This brings back some very old memories. The first time I ever heard this, I loved it so much that I actually stopped at a pay phone to call the radio station to ask for its' name. The rather funny call went like this: Me: Hey, will you please tell me the name of that really happy song you played right after "Music Box Dancer"? Announcer: "The Happy Song." Me: "Yes, the happy song right after Music Box Dancer by Frank Mills." It was about four songs ago. Announcer giggles a little, "Yes, that IS its' name, "The Happy Song", and it is also by Frank Mills. That was three songs ago...." He went on to name the next two, but I have no memory of them. I was giggling, too, now, and happily went back to my car to finish my deliveries knowing that now I knew of another beautiful song by Frank Mills!

The first one though was Music Box Dancer, most of which I learned by ear before I even got the sheet music LOL I used this one as ring tone a few years ago and when it rang my bf said "that's the happiest song I''ve ever heard!" and I laughed and said it's called the Happy Song! :D

When this came out I immediately purchased the sheet music. My piano, my flute and my organ are probably still tired of me playing this tune.

自分のいる地元名古屋では「メイコのちびっ子作文教室」のオープニングとエンディングにこの曲が流れていました。つい最近まで曲名がわからず仕舞いでした…教えてくださいました方、ありがとうございます！これで30年以上の疑問に終止符が打てました。
名古屋エリアではこの曲が使われていた番組が他にもありました。
東海テレビの日曜17時25分からの「愛知県暮らしのガイド」のテーマでもありました。
また、天ちんの土曜サロンのテーマは、作者は同じの「ミスタートランペットマンお先にどうぞ」でした。
小学校時代の掃除の時間に流れていた音楽は、これらフランクミルズの作品でした。
日曜日昼12時からのCBCラジオのちびっ子作文教室のテーマ曲で、現在は小高直子アナが担当しています。
三重県民ですが（長島町に中部日本放送の送信所ある）小学校の夏休みにちびっこ作文教室をよく聴いてました。
今はなくなってしまいましたね。
