I love how quick and to the point you are!! thank you for the video!!! You`ve been helping me so much Im glad you have been making theses videos!! keep it up!!!
I have heard something amazing funny, at 14:35. You have 10 tips, but there you say, tips number 7. I found 1 more useful, to remove preview with short command.
2/10 Twitch docks, you must click on activate under the server line, he had already it active so he could not show the button. That it is amazing, now I do not need my crome open at all, I only have a 4670K running on 4K. I need to test streaming tomorrow. I hope you will stream soon too. Have not seen you out for some days now. Hope your weather is good, 1 AM here and -8C cold, I want spring. Much love from Sweden. Of course I take the Twitch dock in to my OBS stream
Thanks mate! Hope you're doing good dude! Make sure to wrap up in the -8 weather! I've had a busy week or two but I'll be back streaming very soon! Had some extra meetings and stuff this week, plus a trip to London! Back to frequent streams soon! 100%! :D
Awesome video MD. I definitely learnt somethings new in obs. I will be using a few of those tips for sure (probably all 10) and have a look at re-organising my obs and hopefully have a better and easier live stream experience. Keep up the great videos. I might have to call upon you as my obs guru.
I understand the Preview Window, but if I'm recording an area on my 2nd Display (monitor), is there a way for myself to see the area that's being recorded (on the 2nd display)?
@@MachineDaena If I'm not capturing the entire 2nd monitor, just a certain area, is there a way to have a box around the area that's being recorded on the 2nd monitor. Sorry for the unclear question. But, thank you so much for your response!!
@@TheSighlent1 No worries, happy to try and help! Are you looking to have a box around the area on the second monitor on the monitor itself i.e. displayable on that monitor, or do you need to sort of ringfence the area within OBS / SLOBS? You can easily capture the whole window, but then just crop down the source by holding ALT and resizing a source. Instead of resizing, holding ALT will mean it crops instead, so you can just crop the capture of the second monitor to the section you wish to show! I think I've answered the question here but if not please feel free to elaborate and I'll try and help!
What are your OBS Studio quality of life tips?!

Glad it helped Twin, thanks for watching dude! 😎
Helpful information but need to slow down when speaking. Also, moving the cursor back and forth when going between frames is distracting. Too fast.
Ok, thanks for the feedback! Also thanks for watching :)

Hey, thanks for watching! I’m not entirely sure what you mean? Do you mean you want a preview of the second monitor, within OBS?

@@MachineDaena As an OBS newbie, I didn't think about this! Thank you so much for this tip!!
