nice job guys - great to see measuring tapes and strings for straight lines - question, what is the line through the lax crease circle for ? goal crease line being 6' long - tks much
You need that line to get the small arcs lined up. After the initial lining we will let it go to six feet. Our old dimensions show it going through. Newer ones don’t.
Years ago I lived right next door to the baseball field every spring they had a old ford truck they would put a huge role of chain link fence around and around with that truck till the guild was perfect then put the bases back in it was game time I’ll never forget the pizza smells and hotdogs cooking the big stadium lights was on till 11:30 pm I loved it the screaming crowd was nice to hear the grounds keeping is super fun did landscaping for over 30years
I have to watch this video every year to refresh my memory 😂 work at a high school lining n maintaining fields.
I still use an old cheat sheet for measurements. I made the video so the other guys could line the fields if I was on vacation or sick. The women’s LAX takes the longest time to lay out. Glad this helps you out. Thanks for your comment!!! Have a great spring sports season!
@@CREENBIRDVideos yea I hate painting it now since it’s unified…so many lines 😆
@@Tyler.flynn.16Do you use aerosol paints or a machine?
They would pull that fencing around with a chain to the hitch that sand field looked perfect after
