Wranglerstar How do I email you. I have a gift I would like to send you. I love the channel and I restore old tools. I would love to see this item in an unboxing video and possibly used. Cheers!
I think you found just the right combination of eclectic craftsmanship and music for an enjoyable and peaceful watch. Nice sawhorses that can also double as an outside picnic table with the right top. Thanks
Very cool. Those are going to be able to hold up just about anything you might need! I loved the video and the hand drill press. I have always wanted one of those.
LOL this video cracks me up. Its very chill to watch/listen to it get done, but, then I hear my Grandpa saying, quite quietly, on the pre-peg inspection "Gregory, take it apart and make it right". STRESS! LOL
Hello Cody, I first subscribed when your numbers were less than 20,000, long before the great T-shirt debacle (I still have two) then left when the posts became more touristy, like “what I did on my summer break” instead of the practical information for which I yearned. Then this wonderful video popped into my recommendations. Wow, what a joy! I’m never leaving again. Best wishes to you and your family.
Wranglerstar, I am always amazed of the magic in your hands and your brain that controls them. Thanks for all you are passing to all of us. I have 8 grandkids...impossible to keep up with you. Regards, dog bugler
Tech sound at 6:43, was put off by it at first, then thought about a man providing for his family in modern times. While still looking to keep some of the old ways alive in sharing this work with us... maybe the Mrs letting him know its chow ?, maybe a neighbor in a situation needs a hand ? we will never know. Thank you Wranglerstar for letting that remain as a reminder that modern homesteading can be the best of past and present.
this is familiar to old timers who remember the cabin building series. But the shooting has been improved. Not only aesthetically but descriptively too. See how the slick works picking up raised surfaces and flattening the tenon surface....
Hi Wranglerstar, Greetings from Australia and best wishes to you and your family. I have recently discovered your channel and enjoy it immensely, I was watching you hang a door on a video dated June 19 2016 and was puzzled as to why you removed successive 1/4 inch strips from the bottom of the door, rather than scribing it to the out of level floor, I am a retired second generation builder and carpenter and I used to grab a spare carpenters pencil and slide it along the floor , marking the base of the door, this is done at different degrees of door opening to make sure it clears any other irregularities and gives an even look to the gap under the door and my dad made a tool consisting of a lipped piece of flat steel fixed to a piece of 4x1 ( 1x4 for you guys lol ) with a piece of half round trim timber fixed to the underside of the 4x1 with a captive nut and bolt to set the lift height. Place the middle of the bottom of the door on this and use your foot to lift it into place. There are commercial ones now available, but I still use the ones he made all those years ago. I suppose I have an "old tools are best" thing too. Congratulations on your channel , Regards Steve
Watched it three times. Well executed, sir! Well executed. That was perfect editing, the whole series has been good but this is the best one. Perfect music, perfect balance between silence and music, perfect balance at editing out tedious parts yet still keeping the general sense of what you are doing...Couldn't be better.
Cody, These videos are getting amazing. Relaxing with the headphones on and the mixture of good music (Love it when you play Alt J) and satisfying wood sculpting (both the audio and video) are making these videos therapeutic. Thanks you.
So, now I got to build Sawhorses, so I can build the workbench, so I can build more... Cody, you're keeping me busy. Thanks again for taking the time to put these videos together.
Music and content in this video are absolutely amazing! Almost like watching a suspenseful movie knowing something dramatic is about to happen. And there it was , THE ASSEMBLY. .... I've got the fizz! Great job Wranglerstar! I want more
New square. Nice Starrett! Also, love the 10 minute Timber Framing series as well as the live stream yesterday. It's so much fun watching skilled people do their thing. Keep it up!
The feel of this entire series has been just.... amazing. My favorite series by far. From the music to the cinematography to the ambient sounds of timber framing, this has been beautiful work, Cody. Thank you.
Cody, These timber frame saw horses look like they are going to be put to some good use by you and the family this summer. I like the looks of the timbers you millled. Thanks for sharing as always, Brad
So Cody, I have to know and for all the other Audiophiles out there who watch you, where do you find such good music? You really need to share your playlists with us! Hey MrsW! Hope the garden is doing well and you guys are being blessed!
Also, do you have to pay for the music? I tried to upload a school film project from 1973 to RUclips and they muted it because of copy write issues ( It's fine on Vimeo).
Just seeing you in that shop makes me happy. To see you apply yourself with what I can only describe as peaceful happy diligence with a healthy helping of gratitude, makes my heart soar! I pray greater blessings daily for Mrs, Wranglerstar, young Jack, yourself and them puppies of your's. Unto the glory of the Father in the name of the Son, Our Lord Christ Jesus. Amen
Phi=1.618:1 Φ Golden Ratio or Golden cut or Golden Mean. Funny enough if you measure the character itself you will find Phi all over the place.. Leonardo Da Vinci used it to construct the monalisas
Try this neat experiment. Measure any two different adjoining sides of anything you find to be generally pleasant to your eye, a window for instance. Divide the long length by the short length. You may just find that the ratio is close to 1.618 to 1. The more pleasant the closer the ratio.
It was nice to hear Alt-J in there. A bit of a surprise considering their music is played in heavy rotation on alternative stations currently. This was a nice video to drink coffee while waking up to.
Cody, I seem to remember you saying you always had issues cutting to a marked line with a Western hand saw. I now know why..... It then gives you the chance to use your chisels! Great series and very much appreciated
Thank you Mr Wranglerstar to share this awesome video with us.... Love to see you work so calm and relaxed. I have a great respect for what you are doing for us and with us thank you
I really enjoy your content and am a viewer for Quiet a while now (something around 4 or 5 years) Your Videos are not only educational and very inspiring, they are relaxing and a part of my routine for the evening after the day at university or work. Thank you very much and don’t let it get you down when people aren't nice and RUclips or their partners making things harder. Greetings from Germany
Cody I am sure the saw plays a big part but honestly I am so impressed with your hand sawing abilities. I have only ever used the american classic style saws but my cuts are never as clean as yours. BTW I love your videos.

Wranglerstar hey Cody can you add a link for the plans?
I try to send a email to wranglerstar a month ago still haven't got a reply. I to like to send him something. I love watching his videos. Thank you.
Thumbs up for the song. I bet a lot of folks won't like that music but, like when working with wood, it's hypnotic.
I think you found just the right combination of eclectic craftsmanship and music for an enjoyable and peaceful watch. Nice sawhorses that can also double as an outside picnic table with the right top. Thanks
Not that i don't like your commentaries, but these 10 minute TF vids are almost therapeutic. Very enjoyable.
The large framing chissles are a thing of beauty. TkEZ» UK.xx
There sure is something hypnotic about watching this without any spoken words. Great project and technique.
I like the black areas in the wood. It looks really nice.
I have really enjoyed this series .
Beautiful colors in that wood.
Some would call not using electricity primitive, I would call it revolutionary. Very well done Mr.W.
the music spoke to me........."here's how youu can-do-ittt". haunting......wonderful. Thank-you, Cody.
I just love wood. My wife used to tell me you should be a carpenter. You are awesome! Your videos are really cool!

Lookin good Cody. Still enjoying the silent videos. You have the look of intense concentration and enjoyment
Enjoying this series very much. Thank you for sharing your detail and process as you hand craft your timberframe projects.
Peace! A Video to put you at peace for the day is a nice way to end your day. Good night Cody.
The grains on that wood are so cool
I think that this should qualify as a ASMR video, the sound of a chisel working definitely does it for me!
Great to see the framing slick in use again.
STRESS! LOL

Wow, I just wanted to say what a big difference the new overhead LEDs make in the videos. Everything is just so clear and bright. Huge improvement.
Well done Cody on your production and your horses.
The subject, the camera angles, the editing, the music and the craftsmanship are all just simply beautiful.

You are the master of the hook.
Excellent! I could watch these videos with the tasks just set to music all day long and I learn so much just through watching. Thank you!

Man, what are you going to put on those monsters, your truck? hahaha.
I quote the mythbusters, "if its worth doing, its worth overdoing"
Amen to that
Calling that thing "sturdy" just might be the understatement of the year.
Matt I think he is going to be using the for 6x6 wooden beams for framing
Well done!! This one was the best one.
Cody, those saw horses look amazing. Absolutely awesome.
Fantastic video sir!!!
most relaxing video ever
Love your dramatic music in beginning of this presentation Cody👍🙏☝️🏡
Cody I am sure the saw plays a big part but honestly I am so impressed with your hand sawing abilities. I have only ever used the american classic style saws but my cuts are never as clean as yours. BTW I love your videos.
I love these videos.
Mr W, I think this is one of your best videos to date.
I like them they look great!
Cool sawhorses
Those timber framed sawhorses look like they would also make a great base for a worktable.
Homemade IKEA. It has even got those weird holes. ;-)
A thing of beauty. That is some decently crafted workshop furniture.
something therapeutic about these videos
Looks great!!!
