One of my favorite things about FF7 has always been how Tifa & Aerith become best friends almost immediately, far more than they would ever be rivals for Cloud, and the remake totally nails it. It's so much fun to see them suddenly turn the tables and waste these gross rapist guys and having a great time together doing it.
bruhhh, Tifa is literally acting jealous of Aerith in the next chapter AND the chapter after that. Aerith and Tifa's friendship feels so awkward and forced imho. Which makes sense, because from Tifa's perspective, here comes this random girl, Aerith, who just met Cloud that same day and yet has infinitely more chemistry than Tifa ever had with Cloud despite them being childhood friends.

Perfect soundtrack for Tifa's fighting style, just wish it was wave after wave in the castle with this playing in the background. One of the best songs in the game!
When I came to the part when this song started, I really forgot my depression and then I felt a lot of happy emotions that I cant describe... and was something epic. Even knowing some datails of story that are not the same, and knowing this was pure fanservice. It was Beautiful!
Don Corneo reminds me a lot of Angelo Bronte from Red Dead Redemption 2. Both are mafia crime bosses ruling over Saint Denis and Wall Market, the locals refer to them as The Don and Señor Bronte, both Cloud and Arthur have to rescue Jack and Tifa.
This is probably one of the best songs in the game if not the best. But the song is oddly upbeat considering you are stopping a bunch of rape happy goons, and their leader who kidnaps women to force them into a one night "marriage" and later feeds them to a sewer monster.

Tifa & Aerith’s friendship was my favorite part of the remake! Which I loved for many other reasons, but that was the cherry on top.

They did the original game so much justice while also being a completely new experience, 7R is nothing short of a miracle
Part 2 and Part 3 should give you those feelings again, look forward to it!
