ODD CONDUCT OF OFFICIALS: This myopic moral lecture misses the point and was certainly not necessary. This is primarily a legal issue. You can't make videos of people without their consent, which means this criminal offense must be prosecuted and punished under the criminal law. These high-ranking officials - in this case the epitome of one of the pillars of the state - need to show some decorum and dignity and avoid getting involved with the rabble. Taxpayers provide their expensive security and protocol, and there is a reason for that. If they undermine this system by their unseemly closeness to the people and cause the humiliation of their office and authority, they show that they are not worthy of the prestige of their office, and in such a case they should at least be deprived of their protocol and security, so that they may enjoy a lively interaction with the proletarian masses and thus relieve the taxpayers somewhat as well.
