To practice a life of prevailing faith, we must commit to Scriptural authority. Our sufficiency is related to our relationship to Scripture's authority in our lives. When we commit our lives to Scriptural authority, we qualify for its accountability. Where we practice open transparency and unbridled accountability, we are rewarded the blessings of living in "ecclesia" with fellow heirs. Finally, when we practice a life of prevailing faith, our highest purpose is the pursuit of His holy presence. Time in His holiness results in godly character. The processes of God's work of sanctification in our lives deepen our relationship with the Holy Spirit, and in turn, the Holy Spirit strengthens to fortify the steel of godly character in our lives.
When we are governed by the Holy Spirit and fully submit to His empowerment in our decisions, we invariably act to engage in service and love. A believer cannot retain God's holiness and character without being summarily called into "action." We are "new creatures" to demonstrate Christ's love, which then becomes our living testimony as well as our reinforcement of God's integrity at work in us before a watching world.
