Deep sea and heidel crit buff were used. I don't know how much they impacted the hour but I doubt they did much, considering I got more trash without them with a stable 144fps, rng is also a big factor. I don't recommend using deep sea here, it's not worth the silver.
I'm well aware that I extended the 30min by 12s, that said I wasn't using a single maid in order to keep the trash loot only on my horse for the purpose of the video, that lead me to be clearing packs while overweight 2 times during that grinding session. In a normal grinding session using maids to avoid overweight grinding is the common sense.
Guide and Mechanics:
So each pack in jade has a totem. Brazier gives you AP buff, Totem allows you to cc mobs (bound, float, kd as far as I know, mobs can resist), Lamp knocks down both players and mobs(can go through FG and possibly PVE iframes). Mobs are demihuman with a 30% cap after 734AP, it's worth stacking demi dmg with elixirs and lightstones, it's not worth using an ain mainhand.
Once in a while an elite pack will spawn, with current nova's dmg the best way to go about them is to kill them in place where they spawned, however for all the low geared players it's better to pull them to the next pack. Simple cron meal usually offers more dmg, but this time I'm using exquisite just to speed up the killing process of elites. When a totem dies it does an explosion dealing dmg and leaves blue orbs that when hit deal another explosion dmg, if you're able to kill mobs and totems at the same time then you can abuse that mechanic to carry leftover "explosions" to the next loop, which in turn speeds up the whole grind by a lot, that's also the reason why I can sometimes kill mobs with 3 skills, even though it would normally take 6+.
Combo:
The lower the kill time the more combos become available but the most basic and common combo would be
WQ/WRMB/SHIFTLMB F WF WQ/SLMB SHIFTRMB SHIFTQ
of course accel isn't always up and cooldowns don't match up every pack but usually any combo I do is a slightly different variation of that one. More important than any combo is how you position and angle your skills, not the order in which you use them, to be fair you will use all the skills here, even magnus or non accel starscall, the ones that you wouldn't usually use in other spots. Instead of learning an arbitrary order that can change every pack it's best to learn how every single skill works, its aoe, its range, its dmg, its protections, its cc, cause that's what matters.
Addons aren't the most optimized, they're the same stuff I used in DSR, same with crystals. Yet they still work well here, so they're worth using.

PA is so kind, if you do so much damage that you overclear everywhere then you get a little break every time you have to wait for respawns. Really looking out for Nova player health.

I don't think PA understands what kind of monster they've created with awakening nova.
It feels like PA don't understand the implication of their balance changes at all...
Perfect example is Succ Musa vs Succ Woosa (I played both).
Before the changes Musa was better then Woosa at Elvia Quint Hill, but was total trash at Tungrad Ruins.
After the changes Musa is still worse then Woosa at Tungrad Ruins (worse AoE) but at Elvial Quint Hill he was the beast before and now he's insane beast.
What I'm trying to say - PA has to rebalance not only class DMG but all the spots or add alternatives where the other classes will excel. (For example add spot that buffs only melee dmg)
Needless to say that Tungrad Ruins is the most broken spot unless class of your choice is able to exploit Green Buff. But what if PA decide to fix it one day?

@@eredar8935 I mean yeah, the average Nova is probably about the same as a top-end Maegu since the skill requirements are so different. Since PA seems to be balancing around averages, I be the Nova averages weren't so hot XD
Edit: also he's running elixirs, deep seas, furniture, etc. Most people probably grind jade on the standard consumables like a frenzy and food, not 200m/hr worth of stuff lol.

I recommend checking acanadiandude guide. Setting up process lasso is also a good idea, it can help with stutters.

in the description, when you say "blue orbs" do you mean those orbs that rotate around the mobs? cause ive noticed those always form but if im fast enough they spawn in with them already on them but if not they take a sec after me hitting them to form
So basically when you kill a totem/lamp/brazier it explodes and leaves behind a blue flame/orb/thing, if you hit it once more it will explode again.
Usually it wouldn't explode when no mobs were around, so by killing jade mobs and totems at the same time you could essentially speed up the next loop (and the next one, and the next one after that). That was fun. But duration of those orbs wasn't long and it wasn't too easy to abuse. Spawning an elite and going too slow would despawn the orb, same with overkilling mobs.
As of 14th April, PA removed that option, you walk away from the pack - blue orb disappears. I tried doing jade yesterday and only got around 59k. Could maybe try to push for 60-61k if I tryharded with BIS consumables. But that's it, with the same gear and consumables I was getting 62.5-63k previous patch, I'm now getting 59-60k.
EDIT: And a quick edit here, just went for jade again, got 61.7k/h, I think it still works fine. Might have been placebo yesterday.

That patch was actually just a visual bug fix. I spent few hours there after the patch and nothing really changes when it comes to gameplay. Previously I had assumed something must have changed but as it turned out - it was just a skill issue and placebo effect.

I dont mind it being the best class. I think you should get rewarded for playing the most difficult and taxing one
I was wondering tho ? For how long can you keep up this level ? Do you take a break after an hour and can you do multiple ?
I don't usually go for multiple hours in a row, but even after 2-3h the performance drop isn't too big. Like instead of 61k it would be 60k or sth. Well, with how much agris gets consumed during an hour you can't really go for 2 agris hours in a row here.
Most of the fatigue is mental, not physical. Fingers are fine once enough muscle memory is built. Having to aim skills and track cool downs, that's the difficult part.
Are any mid game spots better income than all end game ones when tried hard like this? Also, how does this compare to end game spots in terms of physical (finger/wrist) and mental fatigue?
Depends on how you define endgame.
When it comes to income I'd say best spots in the game rn are all debo spots (crypt best out of them) then tungrad ruins then dehkia tw, and then midgame spots. Most lucrative midgame spots would be fogans, jade, stars end. The only other endgame spot that could compete with those three is dehkia turos.
Other good midgame spots would include giants, orcs, hexe, trolls(after the upcoming buff) and then saunils, gyfins, kratuga with agris and maybe sycraia too. But for the last 4 spots the income is already dehkia or dsr or yzra tier so not much to talk about.
As for physical and mental fatigue? I'd say midgame is harder on fingers but easier on mental. But that's just my perspective.
@@PawelNovaBDO Thanks for the insight! Do you ever have any problems with your fingers during or after long grind sessions? Do you have a routine or self-imposed rule for managing dmg to fingers? If you don't mind, are you quite muscular?
Sorry I'm throwing a bunch of questions. I could rarely ever grind without taking an hour long break after every hour grinding, so I wanted to know how a guru grinder would manage physical and mental health.
Luckily enough my fingers are managing fine even after few hours of grinding.
It wasn't always like that though, when I was starting out I could only go for 30min before having to take a break (back then I was playing awk sorc though).
Not really muscular, I do some sports but that's it.
As for rules or routines - basically if you feel pain you should stop. And when grinding you should always try to minimize APM, that way your efficiency actually goes up too since by using less skills you're forced to think on how to use them the most effectively to keep up the same clear speed.
What did you pull in the whole hour? I mean the 61k is upscaled from 30 mins that also include heidel buff.

I thought about killing elites on place but didnt test yet. So its better to use exquisite to kill elites where they spawn and simple if pulling them?
The difference is very small between the two. Use the one you prefer. Simple is AP + down attack, exquisite is crit + back, but less ap.
Is awaking like ninja arthritis inducing or like it’ll feel ok for like two hours before hurting?
Definitely the latter. Nova might be high apm but she also has few slow skills that allow you to rest a bit.
is your addons for this spot specific only or I can use it at other mid game grind spots such as serendia elvia spots?
Those don't work too well in serendia elvia and midgame spots. Very bad uptime on remise and lunge. I'd recommend copying the page I had in my 46.6k giants video. You can change human dmg there to whatever you want.

There's a 30% softcap. But other than that no caps.
im at musa and found out giant + simple works best cuz ima able to fast ik the lamp while blasting the combo, exq make it quiet longer idk why
As far as I know totems have a different ap cap than regular mobs so having lots of ap helps. In my case I usually kill them fast enough so using exq helps me with solo killing elites way faster.
understandable, i dont run elix combo since im slacker and have just 5 item fairy and no mp inf pot ( it rly hurts having not spirit perfume, otherwise it would take hella ton of weight for mp pots, since musa struggle with energy consuption due to dashes )

I'd be happy if they reverted yesterday's patch and just buffed non accel instead if they really want to buff her for some unknown reason, the gap between accel and non accel has become way too big lately.
I was fine with nova being #1 in midgame and top tier in endgame, it wasn't balanced but I guess the payoff for APM was there. But now? She's a god in both midgame and endgame.

Her AOE is one of the best in the game, it's not succ maegu or succ/awk guardian or witch, but those are in the tier of their own. The only AOE that nova lacks in are 360 ones, but those aren't really neccessary outside of tower spots.

I really respect ppl who play this class so well. I tried it, leveled it to 60. It's a very weird feeling between yourt input and the movements, you feel free, and not free at the same time. Like going super fast in a crazy luxury car but on a shitty road. XD
That's a pretty good analogy. I think the class just feels different than most other classes since most of her dmg moves her forward and most her aoe are cones. Many classes have lots of stationary skills and lots of 360aoe skills.
And there's also accel that complicates things a bit.
