Booted up Shadow Empire again thinking "Why do I only have 18 minutes in this game??" Went through the intro stuff, landed on the main planet screen with my units... said "Oh..." quick the game and now I'm here taking notes. Thanks for the videos, you've saved my butt several times with games like this and I know you'll do it again!
@@noidea3326 I prefer Deity Empires right now because I play games a lot on my Steam Deck, and DE is easier to play on it (once one fixes a missing font issue that prevents it from running on the Deck) and is less power-consuming.
Hi guys. I've added a Table of Contents so now you can scan the bookmarks to get to the section you need easily. :) Remember to like and subscribe please.
This is the video that helped me crack Shadow Empire (well atleast be able to play it to a basic level that is enjoyable). It's such a good philosophy to just dive into this game after watching this. Then expand your knowledge as you encounter things you want to do better or understand fully. The good thing also is it's so fun re-starting SE that if you make any fundamental errors you can get going again with a fresh start or revert to an early save. Thanks Das. This game is amazing, but for ages I didn't even know where to begin.
Thanks for taking the time to educate - picked this game up the other night and I'm still figuring it out! I played your video whenever I had queries, bookmarking the different sections was a massive help. Cheers.
I just bought the game, had *no clue* what I was doing: I love challenging and realistic games, though when there's no tutorial it's a major daunting task. This has helped me in a way to actually play the game and have fun while doing so.
Two straight hours worth of Shadow Empire beginner tutorial? Forty minutes for a first turn? Good lord please have mercy upon us. Can't wait for two more hours worth of advanced logistics tutorial!
Yeah, long video, but didn't drag; loads of good information. Some (certainly not all or even "most") I had figured out by blundering along with trial and error; wish I'd watched this earlier. But plenty of "a ha!" information too I had no clue about yet. The logistics pull-point tip alone was worth the whole 2 hours for me. Great tutorial!
Very informative, ty very much. I love this game and can’t wait for the oceanic dlc to come out, but at times it’s frustrating. Logistics is my main issue really, but I’m slowly figuring it out which is part of the fun! Your vids have helped tremendously!
Have been playing this, great, game since it came out in June of 2020. This caught my eye in April of that year thanks to Das's wonderful & instructive videos. Highly recommended & I will add...multiplayer is a blast.
