Possible that sword skill being so OP was a roll-over bug: It was a strength skill and you had negative 3 strength. Some programming language roll-over negative numbers into the maximum possible positive number that can be stored in that memory location. This was responsible for the old "Ghandi nukes everyone" bug in Civilization. If the dev wasn't careful, it's possible the game thought you had near max'd strength.

That’s not how it works at all.
An integer overflow is caused by the numeric value of the bit exceeding the maximum float. It is not caused by going negative, as integers have a buffer in both directions in all modern programming languages, especially games clearly made in unity.
That buffer is also around 65 sextillion.
This looks much more like a formula glitch where the damage calculation tries to multiply a negative damage reduction value against a negative number, resulting in a positive increase instead of reduction.
@@bahamut256 Why would the negative be multiplied by another negative? Should just be damage = base + strength*multiplier

You mean for the second time? You just didn't notice at all the first time...
The Pop ups are kinda fast, but I think that's fine, if they would ad a eventlog where you can scroll througb every pickup.

This game looks uncool.
This game lost me in first 10 minutes. The level ups and Equipment seem cheap..... this game seems more like a waifu book.
Definitly wasnt the first time. And u can tell u dont play to many rougelike games when u replaced ur skill with another one. U could have canceled the action doo doo head
