Is it just me, or would Doomhammer be like 5 times better if it were a 4/4 weapon for 5 with 2 overload versus a 2/8 with 2 overload? I mean sure, you might lose out on 3 damage from rockbitering yourself in the grand scheme of combo wombos, but overall I feel like the card would just be way, way more value that way then in it's current form. How many times did Trump attack a minion twice w/ the Doomhammer in this video to get rid of it, taking twice as much damage in the process?
theStonerKid69 The card is fine as is and I'd rather not see it get changed. The card is good at cleaning up small minions and it's good at dealing a lot of damage to face, and I like it that way. That the card makes you take so much damage if you use it to trade by double hits means you just shouldn't use it that way unless you have to. There's already two classes with 4 attack weapons, and I prefer keeping all the classes as unique as possible (even though your version would still be quite different from Truesilver and Death's Bite).
theStonerKid69 that would be so stupidly broken. It would have to be 10 mana just to not be the most overpowered card in the game. The main reason it would be broken is that in combination with Rockbiter Weapon, It's a 14 damage card for six mana the turn you play it. This is what blizzard wants to avoid.
the damage burst is the main reason. It is already the most valuable weapon in the game next to gorehowl, giving it both insane value and a two turn, 16+ damage burst would make it broken.
I like how much Blizzard hates shaman so much, be it WoW or Hearthstone, the only reason to actually play shaman is if you want to run with RNG and high hopes. :3
It's brutal to watch how passively Trump plays sometimes. Why would you not do 19 dmg to face over clearing a couple of low cost minions? I dont get it. Let them trade if you have that kind of overwhelming attack advantage. You can tell the thought of attacking face never even crossed his mind. He is so focused on keeping board advantage. You cant throw away over 23 face damage across 2 turns in favor of mediocre trades and expect to win usually. Still love the vidoes though. One of my favorite streamers overall.
