- "JamAttack CC4: Gridlocked" is a contest I held where every entry had to be locked to half the grid (this was done to help with x2 scaled stuff lining up). Anyway there was an overwhelming amount of super cool levels entered in this contest. This is a top 10 list instead of 5 and that's still barely enough to scratch the surface. Thanks to everyone for entering! :)

Do know that the lower the level, the less thought I probably put into ranking it generally. Still, gives a good general idea.

In hindsight #10 prob disserved to be a bit higher even with the gameplay lol

Also any harshness in the video is just meant for entertainment so don't take it too seriously. Really tried to make it clear I like all these levels at the end of the day.

Flatline was honestly so cool, giving off a sort of analogue horror vibe and I loved it.
i found that song on newgrounds and thought it was original and seeing this made me so mad but im gonna keep working on my level

Dance jam dance, flatline and chalk were my favorites out of the top 10.

Out of all the placements, it's safe to say that I, along with countless other people were surprised to see mine place at 10th. Though, I will keep in mind on some of your primary comments, like its gameplay (although a very small minority actually disliked its gameplay). DJD is a level I wanted to heavily experiment with, hence the 'unique' touch of gameplay.
Gonna be honest and transparent, I don't agree with the placements made. But nevertheless, GG to everyone who participated. Without this contest, I wouldn't be where I am today.

The fact that Gostley got top 10 is just criminal. This guy just calls the gameplay: BAD. Like brother, just put some effort into learning it and you will enjoy it. This level was so creative, and is the only one with a boss, and the minigame was done so well, making it more unique than the other entries by a lot Probably the most biased contest on gd so far.

He called the decoration amazing, the gameplay bad. not the entire level. He also said it probably should have placed higher but was probably unable to adjust it before the video was ready.
@@gravitygames4495 Yeah I worded that part wrong, I just fixed it. But even just calling the gameplay bad is delusional. And I am sure he only said that to get everyone to stop talking to him about it.

Great video! Imo the first one (number 10, 2:52 ) was my favourite level in this CC. can’t wait for the “I spent 300 hours on my easy demon” and “I spent 400 hours on my easy demon”!! Also I can’t wait to play it, (glorious fortress) will try my best to beat it!

It's the creator of *snapp to gridd* talking. I agree that deco isn't really my thing, but I'm still proud of my gameplay and coins ideas ! I'll improve my skills for the next Creator Contest, and thanks for adding me in the honorable mentions !

#4 is the biggest sleeper build in GD. I really liked that level.
Hollow Lands reminds me of Zylenox’s and 2003Devin’s levels, the atmosphere, the similar deco.
ye same with core complex mixed with yoreid, these levels are so cool
Though mine wasn't finished it was nice being an honorable mention i get the fact i "stole" an effect the vortex from nuclear but this was due to my level is actually celeste themed and thats the black hole from Chapter 9 but i still see it regards thanks for your honest review JamAttack hope to see you next CC? won't make promises

I’m not sure about this but I think the level Kubus by yedamameday is referring to the Dutch translation to cube I might be wrong tho I’m not sure if this is intended
for those who didnt watch the anniversary (which i recommend before reading this), robtop is releasing 2.2 sometime in october 2023, the chat was thinking theres no time for 2.2, there always is time for robtop to drop the biggest update in any game history (imo atleast)

I am guesing Ghostly likes cube games because he included, project arrhythmia, just shapes and the music from undertale.
JSAB was a childhood game of mine and I've had ideas with the song for a long time, I knew that I had to make a level with it
The second boss on dance jam dance is a reference to the game project arrythmia i think
Edit: i like its song too, spider dance remix made for jsab by shirobon is great
yup, i already put it in my endscreen stating that it was one of the core inspirations of the second boss part
