  • Milwaukee M18 Jobsite Radio Review 2952-20 - acmetools.pxf....
    ----------------------------------------------------
    The Milwaukee M18 Bluetooth Jobsite Radio packs dual 3.5” woofers and 2 high-range tweeters. Milwaukee Tool claims this to be BALANCED SOUND for the job site. In my opinion, they set the expectations that this is a good job site radio, and they knocked that out of the park. I believe this to be the best-sounding radio that Milwaukee makes.
    Bluetooth 5.0 provides up to 120 ft of range and we did not have any issues with connecting or changing phones.
    The AM/FM capabilities are superb! Even hard-to-get radio stations came in crystal clear. 18 presets, 9 AM and 9 FM, help you to get to your favorite channels fast and are saved in memory with two AAA batteries.
    The equalizer settings allow you to change the bass and treble.
    One M18 5Ah battery provides up to 13 hours of runtime at MAX volume!
    Charge up personal devices with USB-C 3.0A device charging.
    Power the radio with any M18 battery or the provided AC Adapter.

    Nice radio, but was waiting from the wow factor the entire time.
    If they made that a charger, or that top pad a wireless charger. That would have me sold.

    this is a very good sounding milwaukee radio. better than the last m18 non Bluetooth milwaukee radio. however; I was expecting a little more loudness from this version. I would also like the aux option as the older version of milwaikee m18 boombox radio had.

    How does this compare to the M12 Bluetooth Radio Charger 2951-20??

    • @JasonBreu
      @JasonBreu 3 месяца назад

      this radio has a higher quality sound than the m12 2951-20 radio. however I'm not sure if it is that much better loudness wise. the size and features of thr 2951-20 still make it my favorite of the milwaukee radios that I have had. in addition I like the red charging light of the 2951-20 radio. the new m18 bluetooth radio doesn't have this feature either.

    I was looking at buying one of these but it’s a bit of a swing and a miss for me. Not packout compatible, and doesn’t work as a charger. Which was the main reason I wanted it. Another nice feature they could have done is make that flat spot on the top be a wireless charger pad for phones.

    The fact that it doesn't have any M18 charging capabilities made me return this radio. It's a battle for real estate for us tradesman working for ourselves in trucks and vans. The price point and features don't align

  • @rowankeltizar5961
    @rowankeltizar5961 7 месяцев назад

    Regular 110 outlet, wireless phone charging, m18 battery charging, packout compatible i would buy it. But its not comapct enough to be saving any space over the other compact radios they have. For those that want more bass it miss the mark. Give it a dual battery and enough space to fit at leat one sub and id be sold. What they should really do is make separate smaller speakers you can link together to build your own system. Make dedicated tweeters, mids and subs. Tweeters can run on m12 and be put anywhere. Make a dedicated bass boombox with 2 subs. Use dual battery system if you had to. Id buy that in a heartbeat!
    Why release a new radio if it has nothing to offer over previous models already available?

      I understand why they don’t. The m18 battery charger costs $100. The radio is already like $180. Those battery chargers have a lot of safety electronics and fans in them. It isn’t easy to just include that in the radio. It would make the radio bigger and have vents for the fans and whatnot.

    My Milwaukee 2950 SUX, this one looks worse. In my arsenal of radios, the best sound quality is still the Dewalt toughsystem 1.0 radio.
    But, when I first got my hands on toughsystem 1.0 radio it was 7 years ago, that old MF starting to break down. I need a new one.
