One day, I was working in the store, and suddenly a brown and white dog came in. I said "Hi, my friend" , and it wagged its tail and gave me it's paw to greet me. That surprised me so much that I petted the dog, and called him Tito. I don't know why I chose that name. It just came to mind. From this moment Tito stole my heart. It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Then, I fed him and gave him water. He was hungry and thirsty. Tito was not a street dog anymore. The way I met him amazed me. I think our friendship was writen in the stars. 🐶
Looking at his new red car. He said "She is adorable." I have two birds, Chompi and Pinky. Both are male. Chompi is bold and strong, and he is jealous of Pinky, who is shy and sweet. I found a street cat outside my house two weeks ago. Luckily, she has a good home now. I feel so happy for her.😊😊
Chompi and Pinky are male pigeons, and I like practicing my English with them. I had a wonderful dog called Tito who was loyal and smart. I still miss him. Thanks a lot, Mike. for this great lesson.😊😊
This is a wonderful video about animals. I love animals more than humans because some people are cruel and selfish. Animals are wonderful. A customer found a injured pigeon in the street and gave it to me. He was bleeding. I called it Wing who is getting better. Both of his legs are hurt. I hope he can walk well soon.😊😊 🕊
That is true, one day I was walking and I saw a girl with her dog. When I walked near them, I felt afraid, but the girl told me, " she is a good girl" that day I learned that is correct to use "she" or "he" for animals.
It's really wonderful video! Maybe, the vocabulary is rather easy, but the topic is very important for many of Your learners, as You know it for sure! You have given us excellent, nice and interesting lesson, in this amazing video with really valuable example of true love and respect for animals! Thanks a lot!
Yeah in my opinion it is weird using she/he with animals but I have noticed that I sometimes used it in English instead of it...Very clear your explanation,Mike, thanks❤ The most weird thing for me in English is using, it is Loly for example,I prefer saying , I am Loly😂 because honestly I see it very strange with persons
@@TeacherMikeEnglish😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 ok,teacher I will try it is Loly but really is very weird for a Spanish say it 😂 will be because we say yo soy Loly,Pedro,Marta ... ( I am Loly,Pedro,Marta... instead it is Loly,Pedro... For us it is for things example: Es un coche ,It is a car... I should go adapting to me more to these weird things in English 😊 , thanks ,Mike, have a nice day
Interesting to know he or she can also describe an object. You said “long story short” in the video, is it common use in daily life? Chinese also has this phrase. Thanks for the lesson, Teacher Mike.😊
Ohhh, so it's not a mistake to say he or she... Perfect because i didn't want to change my habbit ... Me too in france all teachers teach us with "it" but i always say he or she, that never was a problem everybody always understand me

Mike, thank you for the lesson. It is helpful as usual.
Thanks a lot, for this beautiful video about animals. As as I'm concerned, animals are our younger siblings.
What about the ones that are older than you?😝
Good question, Mike. Well, they are our older siblings. 🤣🤣
I really appreciat of you.great job❤❤❤❤
Thank you, for these explanations , I really need it to know when I should use " it " regarding the animals.
You're welcome!
Thanks a lot, Mike.

Wow. I love today's lesson. I love animals. It's interesting to know that some people can say about their car "She is adorable."
Thanks a lot, Mike.😊😊

thanks❤ The most weird thing for me in English is using, it is Loly for example,I prefer saying , I am Loly😂 because honestly I see it very strange with persons
But to me "I am Loly" sounds strange.😅 It sounds like you are arguing with another person who is saying that they are Loly and you are not.

I'm glad to hear that! Thank you for learning with me!

Thank you for the information .
I love my cat, so I call her "she."
Thank you a lot, Mike.
Even if you didn't love her, it would be VERY strange to call her "it".
I always hate sna...so I don't care to know if it's male or female!😊😊. Thank you, Mike.
You're very welcome!

How can i memorize and use vocabulary in conversation and situations?
I have videos about how to learn and remember words.😃
I work onboard the ship! They call the ship is : she!
Yup. This is very common among sailors.
@@TeacherMikeEnglish yes Sir! Good morning Sir from Vietnamese seaman at Indonedia now!
Sri! What do you say about conutries name like India, Canada, Australia and so on....? Could we use he or she with them?
Usually we use "it" and "them".
Occasionally, some people will use "she" in specific contexts, but it isn't normal.
He use to have charisma, now it’s nouns.
He used to have✅😃
My cat scratched me yesterday 😞
Oh no!
I've heard that sometimes he is for dogs and she is for cats. Is that correct? 😊
I've heard plenty of time from native speakers using he or she even they don't know an animal's biological sex 🤔
They are doing that because they ASSUME its sex even though they are not 100% sure.
Teacher, your voice is a little bit change. Are you feel good? Have a good day🌹
I'm still recovering.
I have to tell you something: not only Americans concider pets their family members 😊
Of course not! I'm just responding to what people have said to me.😃

There's no problem at all. Even encyclopedias use "she" when talking about female animals.
I have a pet dog, and his name is Shreik. He loves our family members but is aggressive to strangers.🫢❤
Hi. That's nice.😊
That's normal. Sounds like a great dog!
Starting to really slow down Mike. I need you to show how you will get yourself out of this hole.
