I started tailwheel training last weekend!
I’m a low hour pilot trying to buy a 170 . Having some trouble getting it on the Ground !
footwork is king, don't stop flying it until it stops moving.
I did .7 hours in a J3. First attempt landing I hadn't realised the amount of footwork required after flying 172 planes. Instructor saved the landing. I made the landing after a landing by the instructor with my feet on rudder only to feel his movements.
Hi Jason
Greetings from South Africa.. I am a big fan of your videos..You have a wonderful calm temperament as an instructor as I wish you all the very best.
I did a ppl 15 year ago but after 42 hr total with many solo hours I gave up due to a high rate of small plane accident deaths in a particular month ( 16 in total) and never sat my exams.
I have recently have a life changing event which has given me more time to pursue flying and have been a fan of Stol aircraft . In particular the Kitfox..You mentioned that you do not like flying tail dragger much.. buy how would you rate the Kitfox.. Is it easier to fly in strong winds..More so than the Cub?
Would love to get tail wheel training.
I have a question about my son who is almost finished with his ppl
How can I ask you a question by Email?
