I can't put into words the kind of style madness music has it's like the synth samples are very sharp, it's very EDM sounding, but it doesn't have many buildups it tends to go hard constantly and then go harder, there's also these bassy drums, again, pretty sharp kinda why it's all reminiscent of old assets from 2001 or so, because there wasn't much smooth sounding samples back then But it all developed a specific feel to it, this chaotic aura that doesn't feel like Djent, that doesn't feel like Techno, nor does it feel like Drum n Bass, it can only be described as "Madness", it feels like a psychotic rave orchestrated by a zombie demi-god clown that you're shooting and slicing your way through
Not to mention using Dissonant chords to it's favor, to make the melody sound deranged, yet actually scaling the notes the way you would normal chords, so it becomes like a deranged version of the melody aswell

Now to the second entry of SiN: I was able to listen to this one in the Premiere one year and that's honestly one of the most coolest memories i have with Madness Combat as a whole. And listening back to the whole album again makes me realize how much every musician that participated in this absolutely improved (mind you, the first SiN still holds up so well!) And delivered even better bangers for two damn hours! While every song Is pretty good, my preference towards Ode to Clown, Whistleblower, FIRE, Mad Ones and Void Space is very strong, like seriously, those songs have NO right to be sooooo good. I honestly think that doing an better album than this one is gonna be a Challenge, but you guys nevera stop to surprise me!
Madness needs those pulsing beats that just scream "shits goin down". I can't express how perfect you always nail the apocalypse, otherworldly style! This is so badass, it would never be the same without ya. Locknarrs cool to but ya know 🙃
i love the reuse of leitmotifs in these songs, obviously there's Clown Song of Death and Calliope but the Train Madness in Madman's Respite is fantastic
