Man, there's a lot of negativity out there. Keep up the good work guys, most people don't understand how difficult it is to make a film. Or how much heart and soul goes into these kind if fan productions. I enjoyed the film, its clear you guys put a lot of passion into this. Great job, Keep following those dreams to "Fortune and glory kid... fortune and glory."
Oh my goodness, I just streamed this through my phone so that I could watch it on the big tv. I’m so glad I did, it was awesome. I forgot I was watching an amateur movie, it was so good. The locations were great, music perfect, characters and acting brilliant. Rachels Russian accent was superb. I particularly enjoyed the fight scene on the beach with Fraser and Nicolas. A huge round of applause to all involved. 👏🏻👏🏻
Great job on the movie! Disney should have had you do their latest Indiana Jones movie, instead of putting out the "woke" garbage that they did. I wasn't going to support Disney by buying a theatre ticket to see Indiana Jones And The Box Office Of Doom (Dial Of Destiny) but if I can find the movie at a garage sale for 50 cents then I guess I'll see it. Well thats my little rant! Again, great job on your movie - I enjoyed it! - Dan
Any advice you'd give us if we made another.... keeping in mind we don't have a 20 million dollar budget and 1000s of crew members...just a few pals and a couple of bucks
I gotta get me one of those long snout masks! I need To buy some Gange! If I show up in that, they will make me a deal I can't refuse! Hello, from PUNA!!! Db
Ok. The good: the lighting, camera angles, and shooting locations were all excellent. Also thought you did a really good job of blending the music to fit the scene. I hate fan films that skimp on the John Williams music so they can make a buck. A lot of care and passion clearly went into this project. The bad: you should have invested in better costumes. Why put all this effort into making a fan film and then wear a Halloween quality costume? Indy wearing a $10 hat and sneakers totally takes me out of the experience. Same with the fight choreography. And where are the trademark sound effects for punches? I made a fan film myself, so I may be overly critical with some of the details that are in my film, but overall, this is probably one of the better Indy fan films I have seen. It told a good story, which most of them are severely lacking, and your use of the camera was fantastic. Good job. :)
That is genuinely one of the most constructive comments we've ever had on our projects and it really does help with seeing it from an outside perspective so thank you for your thoughts 😁
@@PrettyFroDome Ok, same thing: the good: your use of the John Williams soundtrack was excellent. Also, for amateurs, the fight choreography was surprisingly good. Even your whip work was pretty good, although you are clearly using a whip that probably cost about 20 bucks at a Halloween store. I also appreciate the fact that this film is almost an hour long, and you took your time telling the story, as it should be. Most fan films just have a few action scenes, say to hell with the story, and the film is over in 20 minutes or less. The bad: it is painfully obvious that your resources were severely limited on this film, which can sometimes be unavoidable. Making a film with no resources is hard. I spent a year doing prep work before I even started shooting mine, and there were still some things I couldn't overcome. But a couple trips to the thrift store would have helped this film a lot. When you have a bunch of people wearing tennis shoes and baseball caps, and you have a bunch of VHS tapes in the background of your scenes, or the prop guns look like they are from the dollar store, those little things when they are all added up really take the audience out of the experience. Your hat looked great, but the rest of the outfit was lacking. It also looked like you didn't even have a camera operator for some scenes, as the camera is fixed, and sometimes don't even show the actors' faces. When you are short on volunteers, this stuff can't be avoided, and that's too bad. I had my entire cast bail on me before we had even started shooting, and I had to put together another crew from scratch. I think anyone who has made a fan film can relate to these frustrating limitations. But good on you for pursuing your dream anyway. :) My advice going forward would be to pay more attention to the little details. Try to remove modern items from your scenes as best you can. Make the costumes look a little more period by picking up items from a thrift store. Old shirts, boots, etc. Buy used airsoft guns off Ebay and paint them. That's super cheap, and goes a long way for realism. But for a first effort with very limited resources, this is probably one of the better films out there. Keep chasing those dreams. :)
I was going to turn it off when i realised this was not what the grab pic suggests Lol but lucky i was doing something else so let it play What it makes me think of is AM Dram project maybe for theatre Then one night down the Pub where it must be said many a great idea has sprung from Someone said I have an I phone that they say you can make a film on Lets give it a try I did enjoy it however it was done it's entertaining Like watching theatre on film Well Done
I don't want to sound picky, BUT- both Indiana Jones and Dr. Marcus look very young - too young for the roles they are playing - two PhDs, one being the head of the archaeology department at a university and the other a professor. I think they should both look at least 10 years older. I went to college and these two look nlike they should be classmates rather than educators. Other than that, it was great!
AGE??? This is a fan based film created by young people. They were all young! Anyway, I've seen many fan based Indiana Jones films and this is one of the better ones.
Hehe, it's supposed to be for the sake of comedy right? A funny Indy parody, recreating famous lines and scenes, but just shot in the local woods or someone's bedroom. Well done, it must be hard to shoot a coherent film, but it's a bit light on humour to be that good of a parody.
Oh we agree....the originals are incredible...they are all great in their own way!!! It's a shame we didn't have a 20 million dollar budget and 1000s of crew members like they did...but we will take your feedback on board and work on the humor for the next one...hope to see you there Bente!! :)
Boring from the word go. Lost interest after just 5 minutes. In order to captivate an audience you need to make a film that is exciting as soon as it starts.
I know you put a lot of hard work into this but i give it a thumbs down for many reason 1 the color shifting 2 the excess drinking 3 the very bad fight scene's I could not watch the last have Sorry there are other point but like i said i could only bare to watch the first 25 minutes .good luck if you try again .

I, too, would had appreciated this film ALOT more if the producer had sprung for an an Akubra Adventurer or similar fedora with the classic Indy Bash. After all, that fedora is Indy' s spiritual totem; his holy helmet, as it were. Despite impossible odds, he NEVER permanently loses it! It ALWAYS finds its way back to him! There' s something profoundly spritual about that hat' s connection to Indiana Jones.... Reminesent of King Arthur' s connection to Excalibur, even...

Awesome, thank you, man:) we have seen yours as well, and it's fantastic!!
This was amazing, everyone done such a great job with their roles. I can't wait to see the next movie you guys make!
At least you didn't have time travel. That fact alone makes it better than Indy 5.
Nothing in this is comparable to the old Indiana Jones movies

Well....the intro dates "1925" so itd make sense for indy to be younger when later the original films are around the mid to late 30s
