i am ojibway from manitoba i started listening to kashtin back in 1991 i cant understand his language but his guitar and music speaks from the heard ......oh i bought his first "cassette" album that time ...i was on a road trip just sight seeing.....and gassing up at the eastend of the rocky mountains i noticed the picture of an aboriginal on the cassette case so bought it.......and liked it ever since....awsum music :DDD

Every time I hear this song I think of my beautiful daughters, Stefanie, Jada, and Addy. Granddaughter Hales is also special. I love them so dearly and feel so grateful for having them. A daughter is such great gift from our mighty creator. Natanish means my daughter in Ojibway, and in Innu. In Canada united they are the Anishinabe people. Thank you Kastin for such an inspirational song, Meegwetch love this song forever

My grandmother's origin is Innu. Today I live in an Ojibway community the word Nitanish means my daughter in Ojibway same as in Innu. This truly is my daughter's song

This is the most beautiful lullaby. I never get tired of listening to it. I wish Kashtin were still recording. I have 3 copies of each of their CDs in case I break or damage one I have replacements. I could listen to their music all day every day.
