I mean it was made by two proper eggmans working together and not a past version of himself that definitely wouldn't be as smart as him due to not having the same amount of experience as him.
@daltonharmon1018 The only draw back was that Nega was completely insane, and was no longer content with ruling the universe. He wanted to destroy it. He would destroy all things, including his partner, including himself, if it meant that Sonic and Blaze would also be dead.
The Death Egg Robot with the Master Emerald was more likely the most powerful, it was just at a time with VERY limited video game capabilities (and he prob didnt know how to fully harness it)
@@pyrolegendz8277True, we didn’t get to see what the Death Egg could really do. Especially considering a future Death Egg without the Master Emerald is said to be powerful enough to destroy entire constellations. Then what could it do with the master emerald? Even if we got to see the Death Egg’s full potential, I highly doubt it would match Egg Wizard. Might come close, but not enough to compete with TWO complete sets of emeralds. Hmm…I wonder if there’s a Sol Master Emerald out there somewhere. Or perhaps the scepter is that universe’s “Master Emerald.”
close enough, more than riff is a leitmotif (those few notes usually associated to a theme or character in a media) But I didn't notice that, now that I listened again you're right
can anyone tell me when the leitmotif appears/which instruments? ive been listening to this game's ost for years and i cant find a common leitmotif between big swell and deep core. i *can* however find similarities between deep core and bomber barbara, the bgm for the final boss of rush (they both use the amen break heavily), and between big swell and wrapped in black (both use the same "trumpet-like" instrument, playing a similar but not identical melody). interesting how they swip swapped it around.
@@lazy_bt its not necessarily exactly the same sounding but if you strain your ears you can hear Big Swell especially in the very beginning of the song. im not sure what the proper terminology would be but i can hear what these people are talking about, its even noticeable at 1:00 albeit less clearly

During that Era of Sonic ("Dark Age/Boost Era"), especially if we are sticking to talking about "Super Sonic" as we traditionally know him (just powered up by the Chaos Emeralds), definitely agree.
@@pyromaniacforhire Was it really a dark age though I can only think of four shi*ty Sonic games during that era Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 06, Sonic and the secret rings, Sonic and the black knight those were like the only really atrocious games in the series the other games were pretty solid and good during that era except those four.

@@pyromaniacforhire Well ya know what I don’t think Sonic and the black knight is bad per se I kinda like it myself I just added it in there for the sake of argument but I feel if it was just a regular controller without swinging it would’ve been a little better that’s the only thing for me at least that kinda ruins the game for me I liked everything else about the game but the swinging, it just wasn’t for me but I will say they definitely learned from Sonic and the secret rings because fu*k that game the controls was complete sh*t in that game and at least in Black Knight you can actually control Sonic, Black Knights not a bad game but the swinging can get a little taxing just needed a regular controller as there are plenty of sword style games that’s on like Xbox and PlayStation, so they could’ve put Black Knight on one of them.
@@Sage-H26 I can agree with that. Back on Secret Rings for a second: That game makes me sad cause there's SOOOOO much potential there, but the motion controls kill all of the momentum, and having to UNLOCK the ability to have a wee bit of an easier experience buries it six feet under. Adding the Nunchuk, like they later did to Black Knight, would have fixed about 65% of the problems that game had. The egg wizard is the most powerful mech that eggman piloted

They should have Rush, Rush Adventure & Colors DS for a Rush collection.
