Agreed! I just bought mine about two weeks ago, I have about 600 rounds with zero malfunctions. The industry itself dislikes the Canik brand. You cannot deny these guns shoot well, I also have a TP9 Elite Combat, NAIL DRIVER!! HATERS WILL HATE!!! 😂
Yes they will and it’s their lose because these pistols are top notch. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I just bought my Canik MC9 Mete three weeks ago. I polished the feeding ramp and cleaned the gun. Took it to the Range shot 300 rounds of 115, 124 gn, also different kinds of hollow point Also 115 and 124 hollow points. Didn't have any issues. I am going to shoot another 300 or 400 rounds before I started to carry this gun, I also own the Canik TP9SF and I love it. The Canik MC9 I bought it in end of October, 2024. I believe Canik has corrected whatever issues there were. CANIk makes excellent guns, I also own a Turkish shotgun. I am a left hand amputee and very experienced with guns at my 71 years old.
Canik makes great pistols. Their triggers are amazing but the price for the quality that you get is best part. They make a weapon that's worth more than what they ask for them. Very rare these days to get that kind of quality at the price they sell for.
Yeah and one day they will know that if they don’t already and the price will go up. Especially if they get a presents here in the states. They was genius selling them so low as a new company because people bought them with the idea of well what do I have to lose only to find out the found a gem. I remember when we was buying the standard sft for a shade over $200 now they are $400 so they have already went up but people are still buying them because they are great. Just wanted to say y'all's gun safety is immaculate in this video. So refreshing to not constantly flag the camera / each other. Thanks for the video. P.S. love my Canik Mete SFX
So glad you made this video. I was planning on buying a Canik and saw one of those videos, and it bummed me out. You have restored my faith in the gun.
Love thus review. Honest and thorough. I purchased my Mc9 back in the summer. Shot at least 400 rounds through it without a single failure. Love how canik shoots.
@NoneNone_ we just used magtech, new republic and Winchester white box. Cheap stuff. I’d say if it matter that much to you and you want the best range ammo I’d say anything federal that’s 124 grain. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I own a variety of firearms from different companies. I don’t own a mc9 yet but my favorite gun is the Canik rival. It used to be sig sauer was my favorite and it changed lol. My friends own the mete full size and they’re great. I was the reason why my friends love Canik. Thank you Canik for making great quality firearms for us 2A guys. God bless and Aloha.
My thought is dirty from range ammo, un burned powder, heck the ammo could've been on container ship for months, i own that model and two other caniks .
I watched a video where at one point of production where the firing pin spring was too strong and would react too fast and create a stovepipe. Only on the 115 gr rounds. It was initially set up for nato rounds 124 gr. They have acknowledged this issue, perhaps too well. Another I saw had the issue for about the first 100 rounds or so, and it cleared up. Good job.
My favorite carry gun. After polishing feed ramp, it has run flawlessly. It is more controllable for me than most subcompact and many compacts. Hurleywelding is great for magazine sleeves.
I’ve fired about 200 rounds through mine with absolutely no malfunctions. Most of it was Blazer range ammo but I’ve also put Black Hills 124gr hollowpoints, Underwood +P, and Federal Punch. No problems so far.
I picked mine up on the 31st of March. Went to the range on the 1st of April. Shot about 70 rounds of Blazer 115 gr. No problems whatsoever. Waiting on my red dot to come in. Thanks for the video.
I got the Canik mc9 the very first time at the range in the first mag I put 9 115 range ammo and 3 115 hollow points in the 12 round mag and as soon as it came down to the hollow points it jammed. However I have replicated that many times since and absolutely no problems! It only happened one time and it was on the first mag,
Probably just that new gun break-in period causing the jams. Alot of guns from alot of brands will do that when they are brand spanking new. It's so that the guns work precisely how they are supposed to after breaking in. Otherwise, if they function perfect before being broken in, then once they're broken in, they'd instead function like a worn out gun. So that bit of stiffness when brand new, is a good thing. Think of any failure to feed issues within the first 500 rounds kinda like being on the same level as a brand new car having that new car smell.
That is certainly a good practice but with both of our samples we’ve had zero not even one issue. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Great video. I have one of those with battery and mag drop problems. Never sent it back to Canik. After researching online and close examination of my firearm, I was able to "fine tune" it, and the gun now works perfectly with any ammo I put through it. I'm a happy camper!
@jayclark7237 never a tweak done we do not question peoples experience, even if it is different from our, we realize that some people have luck of the draw and some people not so much
I have the two tone mc9 and it’s had numerous issues double feeds, failure to fire dead trigger, mag not ejecting all the way. This will be my second time sending it back for repairs. I use 124 grain S&B ball ammo and have put 300 rounds through it so far.
Man I hate to hear that I genuinely do. Keep us updated on how it goes. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Bought mine Nov. 2024- simply oiled the rails and took it to the range and had a dead trigger (out of battery) 1 out of 7 times. Cleaned it with Break Free CLP, and it went down to 1 out 10. Took it home, cleaned it thourghly with MC-25, oiled it with Lucas, and it went through 150 rounds of cheap 115g and 125g without a hiccup. So, know that it's important to clean these with a real solvent like MC-25 or Hoppes... Also be sure to take a pick and clean behind the extractor. Once you get the machine oil and whatever they sprayed at the factory off, and put a good gun oil on it, she'll run.
I shot a TP9, and the MC9 at my local store the other day and I shot the nose out of the target. Accurate and really comfortable for the price… and I had ZERO issue out of both. I’m getting both since my store has a manufacturer sale/visit next week.
Nice that’s awesome glad you like them and congrats on the new pieces. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Great video. The main con was the dude who made a video about a dead trigger, and out of battery issue. He also said the bottom of the grip was too short. He gave the weapon a big thumbs down.
Guys I appreciate you doing this video. 👍I just picked up my MC9 yesterday and can't wait to shoot it. I already own a TP9 Elite SC and love it ...the trigger omg. Canik triggers out of the box for the money winner winner chicken dinner in my opinion. I'm becoming a big fan of Canik! I'll report back after I get some rounds down range once again thanks for doing this video again!
@@AR-ZONA in my opinion it’s definitely worth it. As it was mentioned in this thread my TP9 was going to my edc and I was carrying it but some days it was a struggle feeling comfortable with its concealment . But this MC9 covers that issue feels great in my hand and has a smaller footprint for sure! The trigger isn’t as responsive as the TP9 but it’s close! A good investment! I fell in love with it after two magazines .
Pickup a used MC9 Mete this week. Without my usual cleaning it had two misfeeds. I cleaned the slide ramp and had no further issues (100 rounds). Just did my new gun cleaning and it was pretty dirty (no reflecion on my FFL). I will see. I actually love the accuracy.
Sometimes they just need a little cleaning. No telling if it had ever been cleaned... certainly not a bad reflection on them as they probably just were selling for the previous owner. Thanks for watching and supporting us!
Gentlemen, thanks for another great video. Kimber Mako guy here. I finally found a MC9 in stock at MSRP and will get it sometime this week. I have been a little concerned with some of the reviews on this gun regarding the FTF issues but after the break in period I had with my TP9SC, I’m not too concerned. After watching this video, I am less concerned. I carry Sig V-Crown 124gr. As my defensive ammo and shoot with Norma 124 TMJ at the range. If they perform well even with a break in period, then I’m good to go. On a different note, I was watching another You Tube review on this gun and the reviewer made an interesting observation regarding the mags not dropping freely. He noticed that empty mags eject just fine but loaded mags don’t. I thought that was interesting so I put a micrometer on loaded mags and empty. Sure enough, depending on round count, the empty mags were between .79 and .80 inches wide and loaded, between .80 and .81. Again, depending on whether I was measuring the 12 round or 15 rounders. Definitely not scientific and I have no idea why this would be the case, but I thought I would share. BTW all 4 mags were OEM. One of the commenters posed the question; Why would you want to eject a full mag anyway? Given that this MC9’s primary purpose is self defense, why would you?
The only issue I can imagine would (with those stars) be the mag swells upon loading with ammunition not allowing it to drop freely which is very interesting. I personally would not want to eject a full mag but that’s assuming you never have a FTF or anything of the kind. Because in those cases you may need to clear the chamber, drop the mag that has ammunition in it because you haven’t finished firing all the rounds. That’s a tough call. Eventually though you start to wonder how practical it is what people complain about. Like you mentioned who would drop a loaded mag? This is a toughy for sure but thanks for watching Bill!
That’s true you probably wouldn’t want to eject a full mag lol. We had a few problems ejecting even empty mag at the range however on the table before loading any of them during the tabletop they fell out fine. Who knows it’s a non issue for me. Thanks for watching and commenting Bill
I also use V-crown 124gr as my defense ammo and my MC9 had no problems eating it. After a few hundred rounds of different range ammo (Blazer 115, Magtech 115, and a couple of others) I haven't had a single problem. No ftf, return to battery problems, fte, nothing.
Enjoyed the video. I picked my MC9 up today so haven't been to the range yet. It's hard to find this CANIK in stock anywhere, In fact I called before I drove an hour to the gun shop and they told me they just got them in and had 10 in stock. By the time I got there I purchased the last one. My EDCs have been my Glock 27, Glock 43 and M&P Shield. This is my first CANIK and I am excited to take it to the range. It has so many more features than my other carry guns not to mention capacity and for under $400.
That is the allure. Feature packed at a budget price. Hope you like and enjoy it. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I got the tp9 elite when it first came out and had some feeding issues. I took out the round indicator and ran flawless after that. Mayb that could be the issue with those guys. But I just picked up the canik mete mc 9 in fde. I haven’t shot it yet but really liking this gun. I’m confident it will do well but we’ll see.
My first ever Canik(TP9SF Elite One) had FTF and FTE issues with every single mag.. Canik mailed me another spring but the issues persisted. Sent it to Canik for repairs and when it was sent back it ran without problems. Still ended up selling it just because I was still scared it wouldn’t do it’s job when it mattered most. Bought a TP9 Elite SC a year or two later to give them another chance and that particular model has ran flawlessly from day one 🔥 maybe I’ll role the dice with the MC9 also. On a side note: I did just purchase the Mossberg MC2SC, what an amazing and underrated EDC option that not enough are talking about! Might just replace my Sig P365XL as my conceal carry! ❤️🔥
I understand the trust thing for sure. I’ve never pulled the trigger on the MC2 from Mossberg maybe I’ll give it another look. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Loved this video. Hopefully picking one up tomorrow for my lady as her first gun. I was weary of the mc9 a couple of months ago and got myself a 43x but I might be walking away tomorrow with an additional mc9 for myself. Keep up the good content.
While I haven't shot HP ammo in my MC9, I have shot between 150 & 200 rounds of 115 and 124 grain round nose and flat nose bullets without a single failure of any kind. It's been reliable and very accurate.
Only guns I ever had that consistently failed with JHP ammo were the Taurus G3, G2C models. It happened because of the base plate meeting the feeding ramp design that the series has. This shouldn’t happen with Caniks’ design.
I had many issues with my MC9 returning to battery.- feeding issues. Took my new Canik Mete MC9 out Easter Weekend. Had been beyond excited to see what it could do as I consider myself a Canik fan. I have a Canik Elite and a Canik Elite SC and both have been flawless, but wanted a thinner Micro to carry. I mostly carry a Springfield Hellcat with an Apex trigger. I am not overly happy with MY accuracy with the Hellcat (or my Taurus GX-4) so I was very much hoping for better results with the bigger frame MC9 with the Canik trigger. I shoot my Caniks MUCH better than any of the Micros. While my Hellcat did have the trigger binding issue that others were reporting on the first gen guns (I fixed with the Apex) otherwise I have had zero issues with either the Hellcat or the GX-4 besides the optic plates coming loose every so often. (I have not used locktite on them because I plan to put optics on them soon.) First day with the Canik MC9 was great, put about 100 rounds of new Federal FMJ 115gr. Brass through it and it was flawless. I shot it MUCH better than the Hellcat in back to back tests. Where I would go back and forth between 2 8" plates, I could go 5/5 with the Canik and would go 1/5 or 2/5 with the Hellcat. I was ready to make the switch and make this my new carry gun! I texted friends to tell them how awesome it had been. Fast forward 1 day. I went out and decided to switch to new Federal FMJ 115gr. ALUMINUM! It would often NOT return to battery. I would load 5-6 in a mag, drop the slide and it would chamber the first round. After that first shot , most of the time, the second round would get 'caught up' preventing the gun going into battery. On inspection the bullet would have a large long scrape in the copper where it was catching on something and not feeding properly. This repeated on almost every single mag of the Aluminum and continued when I switched back to the previous brass, although it was slightly less frequent. All together, I think I had 10+ feeding issues preventing the gun going into battery on a very quick and disappointing 50 round day. (Still shot well when it did fire.) The next morning I went out and just used the first brass again, I had 1 issue in the first mag and the rest of my 150 round day went well with zero issues. ??? None of my other handguns, including my two Caniks, have had any prior issues running the Aluminum. The only thing I have that hates Aluminum (and HPs) is my Stribog A3. Ran the MC9 straight from the box and did not clean or oil and any point. I plan to take it back out in a couple weeks, clean and oil, and run some more Brass and test out a few HPs as well. Will have to put a lot more flawless rounds through this before I can trust it with my life and that is a real disappointment for me. I want this to be my carry gun, but as of right now, it has to be a pass. I will add that I only used the 12 round MC9 mag so far. They do not drop free (yet) When I got my Elite SC the mags also did not drop free. Noticed on the inside of the mag well there were 2 protruding guide lines on each side and on my regular Elite one side was less pronounced. I took a few minutes and filed a little on the inside on my SC and BOOM the mags dropped free. The walls on the MC9 mag well are MUCH MUCH thinner and will flex with a little effort without a mag in. Not worried as it seems very solid with a mag in. Also of note, the loaded chamber indicator slightly sticks up and is not flush at the back when empty unlike my other Caniks. Also of note, the Safety blade on the trigger compresses 'into' the trigger unlike my others which remain flush with the trigger when compressed. This causes the trigger to have 2 slightly pronounced edges on the trigger which is in the least noticeable and at most annoying. Did NOT seem to affect my shooting it at all. Also of note, the entire trigger shoe has some left/right play in it that my other Caniks do not have. Did NOT seem to affect my shooting at all.
I understand if you don’t trust it believe me. It sounds like you are having some of the reported problems others have had. Ours have been absolutely flawless day one from box uncleaned. Thanks for the write up and for watching. Please be sure to subscribe and let us know how it turns out.
Glad am looking up videos of others and reading the comments. I also had an issue last weekend with a FMJ brass round getting jammed. Never had an issue before with my Caniks.
I was on vacation last week and went out shooting a few times with the MC9. Mostly ran Frderal FMJ 115 brass, using 12 round mag and only loading 6 or less. I had 2 failure to go into battery out of 100 rounds or so. Both had the scrapes on the bullet. Tried some HPs, I just ran a few of each. NPA HELO Monolithic copper HP 115gr Winchester USA Ready JHP 124gr +p Winchester Defender JHP 124gr +p Ammo Inc Signature JHP 115gr Everything worked fine except the Ammo Inc. The Ammo Inc went into battery but WOULD NOT allow the slide to come back and eject the unfired round. (I was checking the rounds to see if nose was catching on the feed ramp) Only way I could get the round out was to fire it. Did this on all 6 Ammo Inc rounds I tried. The Ammo Inc stuff did not have this issue in my Arex Delta L. Continue to shoot the MC9 much better than my Hellcat or GX4. Whatever QC issues my gun (and others) are having, sure it will be fixed soon with new gen. They say not to buy the first model years of cars for a reason.
Thanks guys for making this video but I wish I could say my experience was the same. I got mine brand new 2 weeks ago and was shooting 115gr ruger and fiocchi range ammo. Very first mag I shot was the 12rd mag and it had 2 failure to ejects. I ended up shooting 150 rds and had 5 total failures. It happened with both mags, and for me usually happened somewhere in the middle of the shooting the mag. I’m hoping its just a break-in issue and if I shoot some higher grain I won’t have issues.
Let’s hope that’s all it is some have certainly reported worse. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if it haven’t already.
Use 124g nato spec for the first 150 shots bro needs to break in with hotter ammo I shot 200 rounds of 124gr no issues whatsoever then I shot 350 rds of 115grain blazer bronze case and 0 problems
I had failure to feed issues with all types of ammo. I contacted Canik and they sent a new spring and I haven’t had a failure since I installed the new spring.
150 rounds of fmj 115 grain no issues at all, loaded up some hollow points to test it, constant failed to feed on the ramp catching every other round. Emailed canik today about mine.
That is insane. Sorry to hear about this. Please let us know how is goes with Canik. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Glad you guys had such a great experience with your MC9s. I bought a two tone Mete 3 weeks ago and it’s been with Canik for 2 weeks now. First time to the range and from the first magazine it had FTF with light primer strikes. This occurred with both magazines and every type of ammo I tested. I tried 115 grain FMJ, 124 grain FMJ, and 147 grain JHP. Out of 160 rounds there were 9 failures to fire. Light primer strikes and the nose of the ball ammo was dented and gnarled up as if it struck something on the way into the chamber. I contacted Canik with a description of the issue and photos of the rounds that failed. To their credit they immediately sent a return label to get the pistol in for warranty repair. Hoping for the best but until I can run rounds through it like you guys did in this video I won’t be trusting it enough to carry.
I did have an issue with mine right away but with the new recoil spring it has chewed through everything without issues after that. Great little edc in my opinion!!
That’s why we done that on the last mag still no issues. We have 4 vids up on this gun 3 of which was Winchester white box 115 all of which one was in the chamber with ZERO issues. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
After 20yrs of competition shooting and 15+ years of M&9 9mm Pro (5" match gun) I finally made a change. Nothing wrong with my M&P, I just wanted a change before I got too old to do anything about it. Went with Canik Mete SFx. Loved it except for one thing. Bought a Mete SFT. Loved it except for one thing. The one thing? Recoil spring is too strong and made reloads difficult w/o grabbing the slide which is inefficient. I imagine Canik wants to make sure NATO spec ammo (i.e. hot loads) does not upset their handguns? But I shoot range ball ammo, in volume. So, I bought Canik reduced power (blue tip) recoil springs. Problem solved. Now, for the real problem with Canik: I've been waiting 6+ weeks for my Rival S Darkside pistol to arrive. They have apparently taken such an influx of orders for the steel frame Rivals that it stifled the supply chain. I can only hope this second year of production has incorporated tweaks to make the Rival S even better than the original.
We have yet to pull the trigger on the S model, but like you have only ever seen one in the eight stores or so that we visit that was actually available for sale. Thanks for watching and for commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you have not already.
I love my MC9 and it is super accurate. However, mine does have issues and Canik currently has it for repair/replacement. Seeing your magazine fall freely from the mag well amazes me. I can literally hold mine upside down by the magazine after pressing the release. The biggest issue with mine is frequent return to battery failures making it unreliable to carry. Most rounds were shot with 115gr Winchester White Box.
I stopped using Winchester white box a hood while back. For some reason it failed in just about everything I shot it in when it used to be my go to. With that said I don’t think it’s the ammo as there has been some reported issues like you describe. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
@rkendall94 I received a response 2 weeks ago asking me to send them my receipt, license, and a filled out waiver form.... and then nothing. No responses even to my emails asking if they received the forms.
@@xTomWolfx Interesting... I'm dealing with Juan. Not sure who you got. Unfortunately, it doesn't show me an email for him otherwise I would send it over to you.
A first edition of any firearm is prone to random failures, especially when it was hyped and marketed like the MC9. There was nothing as anticipated out of Shot Show 2022, like the MC9.
We have 2 samples and have yet to have a single hiccup. None!! Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Canik trash talkers in social media are usually Glock fanboys trying, but failing miserably, to ruin Canik's handguns lineup reputation. Now they are trying with the METE MC9 because it truly is the best micro in the market. What is the biggest threat to big-name gun manufacturers? *CANIK.*
Well in the case of Glock anyway being as popular as they are all they’d have to do is innovate ever some and they’d likely crushed many new manufacturers dreams but they refuse to. While Canik seemingly has something new all the time
@@wdeagle well there is the flaw in your argument,, on FACE BOOK LOL,, laughable because the little I was ever on face book and (will never be again),, because it has even a higher concentration of idiots, bozo's, and complete morrons than even youtube does, so any poll taken there is a poll taken on a seriously above average number of complete dinks,,, that are lucky they don't accidentally shoot themselves for not knowing which end the bullet comes out of a gun from and very little more.
@@wdeagle Really? And how many MC9 owners were polled on Facebook? Cite the number: a dozen, two? Anybody can say there was a poll, but without verifiable numbers, it's worth 💩
@@v.german11b 270 people took the poll. The poll is still up in the Canik MC9 group if verification is needed. Not trying to convince anyone or keep anyone from buying the firearm. Like I said, I'm not on a side. Fact is, mine was terrible. And a lot of other people are in fact having issues. What is also fact is that there are others that are not having issues. Hats off to those that have one that's reliable, wish that was the case for me, but unfortunately it's not.
Good review. I have 3 different model Caniks. In my opinion, out of box, best trigger, best shooting reliable semi pistol for money. People with problem are either limp wristing, or have bad mags or a lemon gun which is possible
I can’t speak for others but as you can see our 2 have been flawless. Thanks for watching and commenting as please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
We hope so as well please let us know how the experience goes. Thanks for watching and commenting and please let sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
We’ve shot FMJ in Winchester, Blazer Brass, PMC and Armscor without a single issue. We’ve shot JHP in Hornady, Winchester and Sig Sauer again without one single issue. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I like you, have been worried since watching some people say they have had issues. Canik is my go to gun. Love them. So I am waiting just a bit longer before I get one. But all the reviews I have watched of popular gun channels. All of them have worked flawless. Glad to watch this and put my mind at ease. Thanks guys. Canik makes excellent guns. For a great price.
Absolutely they do. Thanks for watching and we hope you have subscribed and follow us on rumble at rumble.com/v2gpqr9-canik-mc9-dressed-in-all-black-and-courting-the-ccw-vortex-reflex.html
I will say that I got mine and immediately had issues with sig Vcrown, but only when I went to chamber the first round with the slide release. The round would ramp dive every time from slide release. But if I chamber the round by pulling back on the slide it was feeding fine. Then every round would chamber fine during normal cycling. There is copper buildup on the bottom face of the feed ramp so I can tell the rounds are not chambering perfectly, but it runs and shoots just fine. No issues with ball ammo.
It’s just wild how so many have had that issue and some to the point of failures while shooting and then we have to sample that run like scolded dogs. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already.
TO THIS DAY... the worst failure i seen at the range is with a canik. thing fell apart in range guys hand! Guide rod walked out while he racked his gun after a jam......
I really like Canik guns and own 2. The MC9 and the TP9 Elite Combat Executive. I’ve never had an issue with the TP9 but the MC9 with the first 200 rounds I had multiple FTFs and one failure to go into battery. After about 150 rounds it started to run smoother but I don’t trust it now. I’ll see how the next 300-500 round go but for now, I’ll stick with my G43X MOS. The ammo I was shooting was 124 grain Sig V-Crown and 124 grain S&B round ball
My neighbor bought the tp9 sfx and came over to shoot it, I did jam up 2 or 3 times every mag, when we disassembled it for cleaning I noticed the lube that was on the parts from the factory looked thick. After cleaning it the gun shot flawlessly, I have since purchased the same gun and did not clean it right away and the same happened to mine also after cleaning it’s never missed a beat, I also purchased the MC9 but cleaned it right away then shot a 100 round and it was flawless so I’d say clean it as soon as you get it.
Yeah I (Gene) usually do but in some of them we’ve shot straight from box. Canik is one of the few brands in the world left for us in our person experience that has never had one single malfunction of any kind. The only other brand I can say that about personally is CZ and H&K. I’ve had at least one failure from every other brand I have owned. Not that that makes them a bad firearm I’m just stating my experiences thanks for watching and for commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you have not already
Just another note. It appears that the cartridges appear to nose dive a little into the feed ramp. So with some of the hollow points, they catch on the bottom of the feed ramp. And not every time.
I have 55 pistols. I love them all but I must tell you that much to my surprise my MC9 is one of my favorites. I have shot 1000 rounds through it with a mix of defense rounds and range ammo and add in some Syntech competition ammo and she loves it all. She shoots best with the 124s but she will eat anything I feed her and she will run dirty (I clean them regularly but with this one I wanted to test it out). I am happy to report that she is Glock level durable.
I have a Canik tp9 sf that I shoot really well. Was looking at the Mete mc9 for cc. I’ve seen the videos too of battery issues. My Canik is flawless, even with some really cheap ammo run through it, several thousand rounds, my son owns two Canik pistols… no issues. Thanks for the video. Helped me make u p my mind. I’m gonnna proceed. I’ve never had an issue with the Canik pistols.
Us either. I’m not discrediting other people’s experiences we just haven’t had the same problems. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Just picked up a new MC9 and was hoping they had the issues fixed. Nope I started with 124 grain hallow point and had issues failures to return battery. Went to FMJ round nose and the round would get stuck on the feed ramp.
124 gr is the best ammo for caniks the tp9sf elite had some weak ejection issues when they first came out and they ended up changing the recoil assembly and all those issues went away
i recently bought a canik mete mc9 and really loved the gun even before purchasing had it for about a week put about 600 rounds through it fired flawless but my own gripe was my mags weren't dropping freely at all like yours in the video . long story short traded her in for a p365 x-macro tac-ops hahaha loved the canik tho so i bought another one as well. cheers
We haven’t had a Macro yet. The mag thing as mostly worked itself out on most peoples with break-in. Thanks for watching and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

I own 4 Canik pistols, the TP9 SC Elite, the TP9 SF Elite, the TP9 SF and the MC9. The first 3 fed and shot flawlessly, but my MC9 had feeding problems with IMI 115gr JHP. The first rounds I always shoot through any semi-auto pistol will be JHPs. If it begins with JHPs without any hiccups, it usually has no issues. My MC9 encountered issues with its 2nd mag, the 15 rounder, but it started having issues with other mags I tried as well. The IMI 115gr JHP has knuckles at the opening of its hollow point. These knuckles are where these rounds hung up at the bottom or very beginning of the feed ramp. After I got home, I tried to manually feed the same IMI rounds through it and had the same issues. This told me that it needed a ramp job, which I did with my Dremel tool and 2000 grit sandpaper. I then manually fed the IMI rounds without any issues. The next time I took it to the range, I ran 50 rounds through it without any feeding issues, but I encountered two failure to fire because of light strikes. When these happened, I reset the striker and the rounds fired. I knew that is was a striker issue. Something had gotten into the striker area that was interfering with its spring. After I got home, I removed the striker, and sprayed some Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber inside the area where the striker goes and on the striker itself to clean them. I lubed the striker and reinstalled it. I also removed the striker block and its spring to examine them and all looked well. Yesterday I ran 100 rounds of both Norma 124gr FMJ and Blazer 124gr FMJ through it, along with several rounds of Federal 9MS 147gr JHP without any issues. I've given several pistols ramp jobs that had given me feeding issues and I do not consider ramp jobs to be a difficult job, but then I know what I'm doing. There is no doubt in my mind that I have corrected my MC9s issues and that I can now trust it. My other 3 Caniks have eaten 105gr, 115gr, 124gr, 124gr+P and 147gr JHPs, as well as 115gr, 124gr, 124gr+P (NATO) and 158gr FMJs without a single hiccup. Canik makes great, well made pistols. Their triggers are excellent and I consider these pistols to be very reliable. I paid $438.00 for my Canik MC9. I paid less for the other Caniks I own. All were brand new when I bought them. I'd recommend any of the model Caniks I own to anyone.
Thanks for telling us your experience. Testimonials prove day in and day out quality and longevity across the board. Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven’t already!
I just bought a Canik MC9 and I have had problems with ammo feeding.. especially hollow points. The Sig Vcrown was a problem but also range ammo would fail to feed about 1 in 50. Rounds would hang up on the bottom of the feed ramp.
I've got the MC9 and constantly use the Silvertip 147 grain JHP. Love it. Almost 2k rounds and still no problems. Edit: People still forget that it's a Turkish import and that it's spring is made for 9mm NATO. Lock your slide back for a day and put some hot ammo through it. That'll break it in and you'll have one of the best, most reliable carries on the market
Heck we may do that next lol it’s crazy how that we haven’t discredited one person who has said they are having problems but that will always try to discredit us as if we are lying because they’ve had problems with theirs. I bought the 2 tone mc9 today in bronze. Took it out and shot a little bit. I shot all 124 grain stuff, ball to hollow point. I had one failure to feed on sig hollow point ammo with only putting like 5 in the mag. I had already shot a full mag of it through the gun with no problems. I loaded another 5 kinda quickly just to be sure it was good and may not have seated the round all the way back in the mag. I shot another mag full of the same sig ammo and was not able to produce another malfunction. I then shot 2 more mags of ball ammo without any issue. I chalk that up to user error. Shot about 100-125 rounds roughly. Gonna shoot another 100 rounds or so through it just to be use before I carry it every day.
I got the Canik tp9 elite sc when I first got mine I shot the 12 round mag and it would jam every second round and it was with hard ball ammo after I kept shooting after 50 rounds it started working great now I carry it I trust it with my life I love canik
We absolutely love caniks, the price, triggers and so many other amazing features they pack. Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven’t already
If i had to bet money I’d say that the issues arise from the stiff spring. A common theme i seem to see is talk of a break in period with these guns. If you’re switching to lighter defensive ammo like 115 grain it may not force the slide back hard enough for a fresh stiff spring, and it’s probably only on a few out of the factory. I imagine locking the slide back overnight would alleviate this issue if you come across it on yours…
Our 2 samples have been absolutely flawless from day one till now. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Got one as soon as it came out and it has failure to return to battery issues out of the box. Extraction spring is the cause, currently have a piece of wood jamming open the extractor to get it loosened. Some have removed the spring in order to grind off a coil, I’m trying to avoid that by compressing as much as I can over the course of the next 7 days.
Let’s us know how that works out. It’s crazy to me that it would only affect what seems to be every 2 out of 100. I’m sure they all have the exact same spring and our 2 samples have been absolutely flawless. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I would guess it could be stacked tolerance. If the spring is as heavy as allowed, the slide is cut to the one side of tolerance, the extractor is at the other side of tolerance, etc. Modern manufacturing is darn good but it is not always perfect.
@@stevenwagner9912 this really does seem to be the problem. The ones I’ve seen have mediocre metal finishing on friction surfaces, like the feed ramp, where you can see some tool marks. That’s to be expected in a gun at this price point, as are looser tolerances, where they aren’t going to take the time and expense to do a top-notch polishing job or keep tolerances super-tight, and if you get enough tolerance stacking, you get malfunctions.
It’s a snappy little gun as far as muzzle rise but felt recoil isn’t what you’d think. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I see now malfunction what so ever!!!! Beautiful shooting and a fair review. Cheers guys. having problems with CANIK is impossible. all are false claims. just use the proper ammunition with proper settings and servicing you should not have any problem for tens of thousands of rounds and more. It really is the fact. Just try it out guys for yourself. ☝
I haven’t seen anyone having issues with hollow point/SD ammo. In all the videos and posts I’ve seen the issues were with 115gr range ammo. Some say that when they switch to heavier or more powerful ammo the problem goes away. The problem seems to be a combination of a lack of polishing of metal friction surfaces and too heavy extractor and/or striker springs that make the resistance against the recoil spring just enough to cause it to hang up about 1/8” out of battery. Several guntuber videos are out there already demonstrating the failure to return to battery. Not everyone is having this issue, but it’s so common that just doing a search for “MC9” on RUclips brings up videos showing this issue in just the first 3-4 results without even including any mention of problems or malfunction in the search terms. QC issues usually mean a lack of consistency, so it isn’t surprising that some work and some don’t. Even when the first Sig P365s were having issues, it wasn’t universal. One of my friends has one of the very first ones, and he has never experienced a single failure after over 3000 rounds. On the other hand, I waited until they supposedly had all the issues worked out, and yet mine was a complete jam-o-matic that still wouldn’t run even after two trips back to Sig. So yes, it’s completely reasonable that you got two good ones even though the problem is widespread. There are at least 2-3 times as many videos showing reviews where the gun runs great, so getting two in a row that do is not surprising. But at least half a dozen guntubers have documented this issue, scores of people are posting about it, and I’ve personally witnessed it in one example of the gun on the range, so the problem does seem to be real and widespread, even if you don’t experience it with two guns. Two is still a very, very small sample in a run of tens of thousands. It doesn’t mean that your experience is invalid, but it also doesn’t mean that there isn’t a common problem with this gun model.
For sure I agree with that 100%. My 365 (although I don’t like it) always ran fine. Thanks for watching and taking time to type this up and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks again
Great job comparing different ammo in two different pistols. I was really looking for a jam, or malfunctioning of the MC9. Because of all the smack you were throwing at all the people on social media throwing smack! Made for a great and informative video. I just picked up my new Canik MC9 yesterday. I bet it'll shoot just fine. I'm going to give you guys a like, and look for more of your videos. But I don't subscribe to anyone.
Thank you sir. Subs is the only way RUclips will continue to recommend our videos because without them they see us as irrelevant but I understand thanks for the kind words
Just purchased this gun based on the reviews. At this point, very disapointed. First day at the range I experienced multiple types of malfunctions; Failure to go into battery, stove pipes, failure of slide to remaine locked back after last round, faulure to feed, etc. This from a retired 20 year LEO and firearms instructor for almost 40 years now. This gun does have some problems. The factory says it has some problems, in fact they are sending me a new recoil spring supposdly to fix the problems. I have my doubts. I do think they will get the issue figured out, but EVERYONE needs to vett this firearm before you carry it.
Absolutely as you should all of them. Fortunately with our 2 samples being 600 plus rounds in now still has yet to have a single failure with either. With the issues others are having we feel fortunate to not be experiencing these issues and at this point fully trust ours. So the good news is that we know they can make a good one just need to iron out the kinks and better QC I suppose. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I just got mine and have the first 300 rounds throubgh it and not one problem . Better than glock and a few $$$ less also installed the Mecanik red dot that comes zeroed from factory and I’ll hit steel at. 50
I have 3 Caniks. The last I bought used a TP9sfx with vortex sight for $350.Took it home fired it every second round malfunction.Took it inside cleaned and lubed because it was dirty from the past owner.Fired again perfecti function.Bet the previous Owner never cleaned and lubed before first firing. My Great fortune!
I have yet to have ONE round of hollow point feed correctly. In fact it has smashed the projectile into the casing like a shriveled pecker in a cold shower. Canik sent me a new recoil spring and it didn’t fix the issue. Im sending it to them now to see what’s up. The ONLY HP it will feed correctly is the Norma HP with the super rounded end.
Love my TP9SFx and Rival... but... my MC9 couldn't get through a mag without a feed failure or fail to go into battery. Usually just once per mag, and sometimes twice. The rounds extracted each had a gash on them. Might be because mine is #22 off the line, but Century Arms is supposedly taking it back in for repairs. I say supposedly, because it's been over 2 weeks since I sent them my info for the return, and they've been unresponsive.
Thanks for proving the naysayers wrong. I have the FDE MC9 and I've had absolutely no issues whatsoever. I honestly think people aren't being honest online
You can say that, lol but try to avoid discrediting other peoples experiences because we get raked over the coals for saying something malfunctions when everyone else has had perfectly normal operation and then we also get grief if we say something functions fine that everyone else has had issues with so I just completely avoid looking at the Internet chatter or other RUclips reviews so that I can give my own review and not regurgitate what someone else said. All I can say is both of our samples have been absolutely flawless until this day thanks for watching and for commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you have not already
Yeah I’ve heard people say they’ve had issues with the v-crown. We haven’t ever experienced that. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I did pick one up a couple days ago and it's been great. I'm a Glock fan but not so sure if I'll continue to be after firing this little beast. Great feeling and firing pistol.
I got a lemon :( out of battery issues from the jump, have 600 rounds through it and still have the same issues. I’ve smoothed out the burrs on the frame, replaced the striker spring, and waiting on the new recoil spring from century arms and hoping that fixes the issue. It just barely gets hung up out of battery, no it’s not limp wristing. Not riding the slide, tried everything. Sucks because this is the nicest shooting subcompact in my opinion.
Only issue (which I wouldn't consider and issue) is that the mc9 can use other canik pistol mags. I ran an SFX mag and it consistently failed to lock slide back on last round. However as far as shooting it was flawless with a 20rd mag.
We used the SFX mags and it locked back. That’s crazy isn’t it. Who the heck knows. I’m glad we’ve been drama free with ours. Thanks for watching and commenting and we hope you are a subscriber
Canik Clearly states break-in is 300 rounds of 9MM NATO, I had the same issue after a few stovepipes, took it out for an afternoon, ran 300 rounds of NATO because hey all of us can use the training anyway and the gun ran like a sewing machine afterwards. Until you run the recommended break-in you're asking for issues.
Thanks for bringing these out, Guys. A big, big fan of Canik!

Love my Elite combat thing is damn accurate
Absolutely they are. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
The elite combat is a nail driver for sure I love my tp9

I just bought my Canik MC9 Mete three weeks ago. I polished the feeding ramp and cleaned the gun. Took it to the Range shot 300 rounds of 115, 124 gn, also different kinds of hollow point
Also 115 and 124 hollow points.
I’ve probably owned 6 or 7 Turkish shotguns never any issues. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Love thus review. Honest and thorough. I purchased my Mc9 back in the summer. Shot at least 400 rounds through it without a single failure. Love how canik shoots.
Yes sir we do as well. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
What is the best value ammo and grain to break in a mc9

Yea sir they are awesome. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

Good job.
No issues for us as of yet about 1400 rounds in. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
My favorite carry gun. After polishing feed ramp, it has run flawlessly. It is more controllable for me than most subcompact and many compacts. Hurleywelding is great for magazine sleeves.

Hurley makes the good stuff!!🤙👍
I bought the Hurley sleeves for mine, and they look and feel great.
@ronk.6226 heck yeah!
I’ve fired about 200 rounds through mine with absolutely no malfunctions. Most of it was Blazer range ammo but I’ve also put Black Hills 124gr hollowpoints, Underwood +P, and Federal Punch. No problems so far.
No problems here either. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

It only happened one time and it was on the first mag,
I’m glad it cleared up. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Thanks Tyler for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Clean and lube first .I always polish the feed ramp on all my pistols first.
Sorry you had issues but glad you got it worked out. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
How did you tweak it?
@jayclark7237 never a tweak done we do not question peoples experience, even if it is different from our, we realize that some people have luck of the draw and some people not so much
Yes , I want to know how you "fine tune" this pistol???
@frankbier1690 mostly just practice. If you’re referring to how you perform, just practice practice practice
Thanks for sharing your experience and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

i got the elite sc as well, thought it would be a edc but its same size as my Glock G45 which is NOT an edc ..
Might get this MC9 as a true edc
Yea do it your will not be disappointed. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
So you have both I have the SC is there really that much of a difference? I carry my SC that’s my go to every day is it worth grabbing the MC?
We haven’t either Marcus. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
If there was a failure of any sort, you might need to eject the mag.

Just ordered one and picking it up on 5/29. I've seen it for $359 but I paid $409, support your local FFL.

Loved this video. Hopefully picking one up tomorrow for my lady as her first gun. I was weary of the mc9 a couple of months ago and got myself a 43x but I might be walking away tomorrow with an additional mc9 for myself. Keep up the good content.

Ty sir
While I haven't shot HP ammo in my MC9, I have shot between 150 & 200 rounds of 115 and 124 grain round nose and flat nose bullets without a single failure of any kind. It's been reliable and very accurate.
Yea sir ours as well. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Only guns I ever had that consistently failed with JHP ammo were the Taurus G3, G2C models. It happened because of the base plate meeting the feeding ramp design that the series has. This shouldn’t happen with Caniks’ design.

Exactly, my Canik Mete MC9 works flawlessly. I even shot steel cased ammo with no problems. I cleaned and lubed it before shooting, though.
Very possible. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you have not already.
That may be the key. I oiled mine as well before firing, and it ran like a brand new sewing machine. With FMJ, and JHP

(I have not used locktite on them because I plan to put optics on them soon.)
First day with the Canik MC9 was great, put about 100 rounds of new Federal FMJ 115gr.
(Still shot well when it did fire.)
The next morning I went out and just used the first brass again, I had 1 issue in the first mag and the rest of my 150 round day went well with zero issues.
They do not drop free (yet)
When I got my Elite SC the mags also did not drop free.
My elite SC had an issue NOT going into battery after the very 1st 3 rounds ... after that, NO more issues.
Glad am looking up videos of others and reading the comments. I also had an issue last weekend with a FMJ brass round getting jammed. Never had an issue before with my Caniks.
That is odd coming from a Canik. Have you tried reaching out to Century arms?
I was on vacation last week and went out shooting a few times with the MC9.
Mostly ran Frderal FMJ 115 brass, using 12 round mag and only loading 6 or less.
I had 2 failure to go into battery out of 100 rounds or so.
Both had the scrapes on the bullet.
Tried some HPs, I just ran a few of each.
NPA HELO Monolithic copper HP 115gr
Winchester USA Ready JHP 124gr +p
Winchester Defender JHP 124gr +p
Ammo Inc Signature JHP 115gr
Everything worked fine except the Ammo Inc.
The Ammo Inc went into battery but WOULD NOT allow the slide to come back and eject the unfired round. (I was checking the rounds to see if nose was catching on the feed ramp)
Only way I could get the round out was to fire it.
Use 124g nato spec for the first 150 shots bro needs to break in with hotter ammo I shot 200 rounds of 124gr no issues whatsoever then I shot 350 rds of 115grain blazer bronze case and 0 problems
please stop using 115g. this is nato standard gun . must use 124g , at least at the beginning.
I’ve shot 115 from the get and nothing else and it’s been flawless. When did shoot a little 124 and 147 in this range trip
Well let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I did have an issue with mine right away but with the new recoil spring it has chewed through everything without issues after that. Great little edc in my opinion!!

@@GSquaredTactical they sent me a new one under warranty in under two weeks
Nice
Been seeing feeding issues when having one in the chamber with a full mag

Exactly my issue, but Century is ghosting me currently. 😞

A first edition of any firearm is prone to random failures, especially when it was hyped and marketed like the MC9. There was nothing as anticipated out of Shot Show 2022, like the MC9.

We hate to hear that let us know how it goes moving forward. Thanks for watching
All things man made can malfunction lol. In today's firearms most work is my opinion but we all see failures on RUclips videos .
Truth
Ours has literally never had a single issue of any kind. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

Absolutely we have experienced that with all our Caniks thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

Just picked up a new MC9 and was hoping they had the issues fixed. Nope I started with 124 grain hallow point and had issues failures to return battery. Went to FMJ round nose and the round would get stuck on the feed ramp.

124 gr is the best ammo for caniks the tp9sf elite had some weak ejection issues when they first came out and they ended up changing the recoil assembly and all those issues went away

i recently bought a canik mete mc9 and really loved the gun even before purchasing had it for about a week put about 600 rounds through it fired flawless but my own gripe was my mags weren't dropping freely at all like yours in the video . long story short traded her in for a p365 x-macro tac-ops hahaha loved the canik tho so i bought another one as well. cheers

A lot of people have told us that they cut a link off the mag spring and or they sent it back and Caniks fix was to replace the mag spring
I've got the MC9 and constantly use the Silvertip 147 grain JHP. Love it. Almost 2k rounds and still no problems.
Edit:
People still forget that it's a Turkish import and that it's spring is made for 9mm NATO. Lock your slide back for a day and put some hot ammo through it. That'll break it in and you'll have one of the best, most reliable carries on the market

Great experiment. Kept waiting for an on the fly field strip and slide swap just to drive it home.

We have yet to this day to have even a single failure. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

@@GSquaredTactical oh i imagine the majority of them are flawless. Caniks are great guns.

Extraction spring is the cause, currently have a piece of wood jamming open the extractor to get it loosened. Some have removed the spring in order to grind off a coil, I’m trying to avoid that by compressing as much as I can over the course of the next 7 days.

I would guess it could be stacked tolerance. If the spring is as heavy as allowed, the slide is cut to the one side of tolerance, the extractor is at the other side of tolerance, etc. Modern manufacturing is darn good but it is not always perfect.
Yeah that’s true
@@stevenwagner9912 this really does seem to be the problem. The ones I’ve seen have mediocre metal finishing on friction surfaces, like the feed ramp, where you can see some tool marks. That’s to be expected in a gun at this price point, as are looser tolerances, where they aren’t going to take the time and expense to do a top-notch polishing job or keep tolerances super-tight, and if you get enough tolerance stacking, you get malfunctions.
Thanks for the info You guys help me in making which to get
Thank you for watching
Just saw your channel and I like it!
Thank you sir
That muzzle flip is crazy
It’s a snappy little gun as far as muzzle rise but felt recoil isn’t what you’d think. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I got the METE MC9 no issues at all, this is my go to concealed all day :)
That’s what I’m talking about! Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven’t already

Caniks are great pistol for the price. There are fan boys for the mainstream pistols. What I like about canik is you get more for the price.
So true!! Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I just got mine and have the first 300 rounds throubgh it and not one problem . Better than glock and a few $$$ less also installed the Mecanik red dot that comes zeroed from factory and I’ll hit steel at. 50
Sweet that has been our experience as well. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Yeah people
Kill me
With not cleaning their guns
Great video. I own quite a few guns but now I will own one more!
It’s an excellent micro compact option! Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven’t already
I’ve heard others had this problem I’m glad ours has been flawless. Let us know how it goes and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I hate to hear all that I really do I love the Canik brand. Please let us know how it goes and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Mine runs both federal and sig hollows just fine, as well as cheap target ammo.
Yes sir ours as well. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
during my glocks break in period it had a couple issues with the sig v crown. never had any issues after a couple hundred rounds
Yeah I’ve heard people say they’ve had issues with the v-crown. We haven’t ever experienced that. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Great video and great review. Looking forward to purchasing one.
I hope you get one and that it’s great like ours. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
You're welcome and subscribed.
Ty
I did pick one up a couple days ago and it's been great. I'm a Glock fan but not so sure if I'll continue to be after firing this little beast. Great feeling and firing pistol.
They are great pistols across the board from full size to micro
I got a lemon :( out of battery issues from the jump, have 600 rounds through it and still have the same issues. I’ve smoothed out the burrs on the frame, replaced the striker spring, and waiting on the new recoil spring from century arms and hoping that fixes the issue. It just barely gets hung up out of battery, no it’s not limp wristing. Not riding the slide, tried everything. Sucks because this is the nicest shooting subcompact in my opinion.
That’s a crying shame have you considered sending it back? Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Thx for review!! These go for roughly out the door of 450.00 in Central Ky!! My Next pistol
Sweet please let us know how you like it. Thanks for watching and commenting and please be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
That may be so, but we never had a problem shooting 115 grain from day one not a single problem. Thanks for watching my friend.
