I offered it to the customer... Generally because I do a bunch of other things besides headlight restoration I do a quick visible walk-around to check for things that I provide and that's obviously one of the first ones that I see especially in this vehicle.. they go bad pretty fast and they have a dark background so it really stands out.. And I just let them know if they're not going to take care of it it's going to look really funny once the lights get clear..lol which is true it stands out a lot and usually when they're like no I just want the lights and I do it there like okay can you do it now cuz it looks terrible..lol So whenever I see this and they're looking shabby I let them know.. exact same polycarbonate as the headlights.. especially being how expensive some of them are it's definitely worse promoting it and offering it to the customer... It is a paid service..💯
@@theheadlightrestorationpro People deffinitetly eat with their eyes these days, so its no suprised they asked after the restoration hah. Saving customers money is always good for Business Reputation. Great job! 👍
Not needed and should be frowned upon when concerning headlights... This will give you a better insight on that..ruclips.net/video/LC4ZBu02JZg/видео.html But yes most definitely do not if you're using the right supplies and products...
I believe these new large emblems contain lidar/radar for newer vehicle anti-collision systems. That's why they are so large and covered in a clear plastic and are so expensive. They've gotten much better at hiding these systems and often do it behind the large front manufacturer emblem.
New sub here love your videos I would like to try and do my headlights on my own, I don't have those lovely thick P3000 pads you have only 3000 thin ones... can I try with them anyway? I know that having the right "tools" makes all the difference, but I have seen the price and for the moment I can't 😔 😔
You can use them but it will not turn out the same but you can get a good likeness just using what you can and probably the steps.. some places on the internet will sell one or two for a price much cheaper than the whole box... Thank you for the subscription stay tuned very informative video coming up in a couple minutes..

Good stuff man! Did you offer to do that for the customer after you saw it or did they request it?

Can I do it by hand if I don't have power tools? Even thought I will take a bit longer?
