Theoretically, you could to a total of four systems, using 90-degree offsets. Maybe more, but I think it would get really janky at that point. What would be really cool though, would be if you could get it to change channels, i.e. a marble goes around the track twice.
So a color sorter capable of handling two BPS, feeds into this, which could feed two separate sets of modules, merging at the end via something like the balldozer?
@@gamerkeks7997 it would be super cool there could be special lanes for ambulaces and shit like that but there must be something that makes this impossible
Awesome, you should design some kind of x axis pivot system on the center rotator that allows you to make it go up and down so you can do multiple tiers.
so i'm most interested in the ball elevator module, how do you make the balls go up without falling down on every rotation? I can see a bar circulating underneath, I can see that it pushes a piston upwards, do you use a rubber band and a lever of sorts to keep the ball in place until the next one pops up underneath it?
If the double loop one was gbc 1) It obviously wouldn't be a loop 2) You could tie it into the ball sorter and make it to where the different colored carts only carry a certain type of ball.
Very, very beautiful. Never stop. Though I don't know how many 1000's of dollars of Lego I've just been looking at. I hope your genius gets some income from this somehow. But anyway, never stop.
With that music I keep expecting someone to start pummelling the GBC with eggs and smash it with a big shovel before setting fire to it screaming as they do it...Akiyuki is How To Basic?
So cool. I kinda got freaked out when you started reconfiguring it, like, "NO !!!!" What is he doing? It was working perfectly. Then I calmed down. Excellent modular thinking.
It is a shame that those dials used to control the speed don’t have a technic pin slot so you can hook two of them up with a technic beam to be perfectly synced allowing for a smoother altering of speed.
Many aspects of Lego design are already being affected by 3D printing, opening up a wealth of new design opportunities. That is, for those folks wishing to take it to the next level.
you could add two more arms to every rotor and double the amount of carts... I'd love to see a ball having to go trough the track loop for times until it arrives at the output :D
On an an actual GBC, you could use this as a bit of an X crossing. The first pass takes it through with the ball hopper ramp dropping it onto another GBC stage. And then later on many stages later it places the balls back into this, but on the second portion that continues to drop balls on the next GBC stage.
The most inefficient way to move a Lego ball 40 centimeters across the room, yet it is just incredibly brilliant.
I'm sure there are worse

Nice! You should feed this with the color sorter. It’s a module that wouldn’t just mix the colors again as soon as they’re sorted.
Thats also what I had in mind.

What's the fail rate of those? I've seen them fail.
The sheer beauty of perfect mechanical synchronization. The modularity of the whole system is superb.
Classic Akiyuki
@@Spooglecraft Yep he's my friend
Amazing stuff. I wonder... surely it must be possible to double up again to a 4-loop system?
Ok
How about we forget roads and cars altogether and make this out main way of tranport????

Based on the way the interface works, you could theoretically have TWO MORE in-and-outputs. I'd like to see someone do that.

It’s crazy how much you can customize it! You did a really good job with this contraption. I’m so impressed by your skills. Keep up the great work !

Will this be at the brickworld convention in Michigan? I would love to see it irl.
Where to get the track? And more importantly the balls! I have a lot of other parts just no tracks and pun somewhat intended no balls!
I think it's roller coaster tracks :)
You make a lot of ball contraptions.
This could be used as a sort of crossing for two ball contraptions, all at the same level and even the same track... Man, you're a genius
I think the second-to-last configuration would be even better if it were rearranged into one continuous loop.
When you need Robots to play with Lego while you are too busy building them ;]
