Dear "Olympics", why can't you let us see the performance as it happened, as we once could in another clip you have now blocked. The magic of his routine was the way he embodied the music he chose, and that is completely lost here because of the soundtrack you have imposed. It's a disgrace.

Beautiful, elegant, fluid, powerful, athletic. Curry was the best ever. Gone too soon, but never forgotten. Just watching the Sochi Olympics, and none of the current crop come anywhere near him

fantastic artistic skating. From an artistic side that is probably the best mens skating that I've ever seen. You don't see skating like that now where everyone is so focused on hitting as many quad and triple jumps as they can. you can find the video of the long program with the original music on youtube, just search for it

Beautiful skating, ruined by the ridiculously inappropriate music.

"Overall the nine judges gave Curry 105.9 points out a possible 108 points. This remains the highest point total in the history of men's figure skating."
A small mistake in the video introduction. This remained the highest point in the history of men's Olympic figure skating until 2002, when Alexei Yagudin scored 106.6 out of the total 108 points, for his 2002 Olympic performance.

...Or rather a perfect synthesis of athleticism and artistry. Curry said that every move had its place in his interpretation of the music, so why on earth has Don Quixote been replaced by a tuneless piece that is completely out of place?

Brilliant to see, shame about the music used. Couldn't they just leave the original music?

Very poor musical treatment. The scenes would have been better if watched silently. Kovalev looks stunned and pissed.

What the f. is going on with the 'music' here? The music he skated to and won Gold in the world figure skating championship to was by Carl Maria Von Weber, Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov (Winter Olympics) He chose the music himself and matched it precisely to every part of his performance. The rubbish played here is no way anything LIKE suitable soundtrack for John Curry's wonderful skating. Its a travesty!
