I have a feeling that this tub will make me regret JUST buying the 2021 Hawaii Hydrojet! Glad that you've dropped the irritating music in these newer videos, excited to hear your thoughts on this new tub compared to the LayZSpa!
Hi Adam when will you be adding a follow up video. I'm looking to purchase a hot tub in the next few weeks. I'm looking at Lay-z-spa Hawaii but would love to know how you feel about both of them.
I filmed it last week and should have it live late this week. It doesn't cover direct comparisons to the Hawaii, but runs through all the features and what I like about the Otium.
Great video, I just ordeder the mspa whirpool. Can you tell me exactly how much of the chemicals you gave in the mspa for the shocking of water.keep on the great work
Hi, just watched your unboxing and set up video of the mspa otium which was great btw. Just wondering if you’ve done a vid about the overall experience using the mspa otium?? It looks great from what I’ve seen so far… thanks Rach
They’re similar. Arguably more functionality with MSpa, but think the Lay Z Spa inflatable part feels more sturdy. Since I made this video, I’ve used a tub with an extra insulation layer and would highly recommend these.
@@Roy781979 I'm in the process of making a video review of the Otium and it will be up on RUclips soon. With the terrible April and May weather we had here, it's only in the last week or so I've been getting use out of the Otium.
Hi I'm disabled and so is my wife can you sit on the side of this hot tub I like the simplicity of setup just not sure if i will be able to use the sides and would need to be able to do that to get in and out of the hot tub your hot tub looks great
I'm not sure it would be ideal to sit on the wall of the hot tub. Even when fully inflated, it's a little soft and not sure it's designed to take a person's full weight. Where the pump is (and where the hydro jets are), there is a structure in the walls that would probably take the weight - although I wouldn't like to guarantee this. I'd sadvise getting in touch with MSpa and see what they suggest.
always try to purchase a hot tub with an external pump as when you need it repaired or servicing then you will have to remove the pump which can be complicated.
Not sure as I've not experienced it. When empty, you can get to the pump from underneath, although not sure what it accessible/replaceable. Next time I empty the water I'll take a look.
Unfortunately not. This Otium is much better than my Lay-Z-Spa one as the inflatable lid is shaped to help the rain run off, but still not perfect and it has pooled a little with the amount of heavy rain we've had recently. Would need to cover it with a canopy to stop it completely.
@@jamescosstick3520 pop some kind of inflatable in the tub, beach ball or float. It should give some extra rigidity to the lid if it’s not inflatable 👍🏻
I've got a couple of videos on using hot tub chemicals, so best to start there. Biggest tip I can give other than using the chemicals properly is making sure everyone that uses the tub has a shower first to remove make up, fake tan, antiperspirant, sweat etc etc (and no peeing in the water!). Stops the water getting as dirty and makes things easier. If the water is cloudy, I'd also drain and clean thoroughly before refilling....
Just got an inflatable hot tub for the holiday, these vids are great, subbed
Hi! Love you videos. Last year I bought hot tub and they helped me alot. Great your still making new ones:)!! Keep it up!! Cheers from Poland!
Looking forward to the next video with the in depth review and comparison to the Lazy Spa!

hello, where can i get those headrests?
What happened to the lay-z-spa ?
It's currently in storage. Will be using the Otium for now to see how it compares.
@@SailingAquila I was looking the Helsinki LAy-z-Spa, what's your opinion in term of size and build quality compared with MSpa Otium?

@@PhilipGuest hi Philip, how have you found your otium?? Thanks Rach
Apparently they don't sell it in the Netherlands! Can you please find out why?
Sorry to hear that. I guess that haven't got a distributer up and running in the Netherlands.

Any tips to stop rain water polling on top of a hot tub that doesn't have an inflatable lid?
