Really enjoyed your review 👍, I noticed you mentioned about the trolley that mounts through the hole, yes iv heard many stories that they actually split the inner holes in which obviously do sink the kayak, I use the trolly were the kayak sits on top and the a simple strap , really helpful video as I was wondering how I can mount a fish finder on mine👍, thanks bud and once again really helpful post 🤝🇬🇧🍻
Hi Peter, I bought one of these Kayaks last winter and i still haven't used it due to Covid. Also i won't go out to Sea in it till i have a Wetsuit which i will get this year. I can't wait to use this Kayak but Safety is at the top of the list so until i'm fully prepared i won't go out on it. It's 200ft deep in the Forth near my house in Fife. I have Subscribed your channel as i think i can learn Perch Fishing from you. Something i'm keen to do near my home when i don't want to pack a ton of gear for Sea Fishing. Steve.
@@PeterFryfishing Thanks Peter i will try to find one. If not i will practice inshore until i'm confident. I'm not stupid so i won't take risks. All my best, Steve.
A good plan, I assume you are going to fish from it. I have a lot of experience boat fishing but in a kayak you are much closer to the water and you will get wet, it is a steep learning curve. Good luck, fingers crossed life will return to normal soon. Peter
It is ok but you do need to take care not to lean your body weight towards one side as it will tip over. I would not use it at sea or on a bigwater with high waves. My experience has taught me not to over load it with fishing kit but to keep things simple while out on it.
As an after thought, being only 5ft 4 I need a kayak I can lift onto a roof rack and I would struggle with a bigger kayak.

I have never seen this kayak before. It's a nice looking model.
Galaxy have a good range of kayaks costing upto £1k for a peddle drive.
@@PeterFryfishing Pedal drive. Peddle means something different.
@@nigelmtb True, Galaxy have a Sturgeon kayak with pedal drive for around £1300. www.uk.galaxykayaks.eu/fishing-kayaks/367-alboran-fx.html

Best bet is when you do go to sea make sure you have an experienced person with you. 👍

Fantastic,

How stable is this kayak?
