I have just found a super simple solution elsewhere. I went to Network Preferences and changed the location to a new one that I made. Bingo. Problem solved.

I'm experiencing a problem of my own and I was wondering if you could help me out?
I've just recently bought myself a new iMac and I've just set it all up and restarted it and all that. But when I go to log into the Apple App Store. It tells me to put my password in and everything, which I do. Then it does that loading thing after you've put in your password. But after that it doesn't do anything. It doesn't log in or anything.
I've tried multiple different things and non of them have actually worked out for me.
I've had a Mac before and never have I experienced this type of issue. Could you please try and help me find out what this problem is so that I can use the App Store properly, please? Thanks! :)

Nkechi Onwuka I still wasn’t able... contacted apple and they told me to erase and reset my Mac... I saved everything in a external disk and am resetting right now... will update you if this works.

I tried this fix. Both steps. It did not work for me unfortunately. I am trying to upgrade my MacBook to the big sur os. If anyone knows another way to do it without the app store I'd appreciate the help.
No one wondered why he tells you to go into the App Store and check that you are connected to the right country's App Store when the whole problem is WE CAN'T GET TO THE APP STORE. LOLOLOL

Hey I tried this and I'm still getting the error when trying to update to Mojave from high Sierra. Any other fixes? It says "the server gave an hour during download 500 internal server error"
alex bro it didnt work for me am trying to update to mac os catalina from my mojave but it didnt work for me everytime i go to system preferences to update it says cannot connect to the server once i upgrade

Hmm, I haven't seen it specifically. Are you sure you're connected to the internet? Have you tried multiple internets maybe? Like try tethering from your phone or going to a coffee shop?

I'm sure it worked for Sierra. I juet upgraded(?) to Sonoma, and there is no db/crls folder
The second change to sort out the certificate with the blue icon worked for me. Running Mojave. Restored the OS and hit this issue. I did not clear the files in the indicated location. Hence the fix was to sort out the certificate which was not being trusted.

omg! ty ty ty i got it on your first step... so i couldnt retrieve the password for my original id and created a new...and simply signing out of the old allowed me to sign into the new! MAC GOD!!! TY TY TY

AFRA BINTOUQ after I did all I can do but it still can’t log in my App Store. So the last solution with I’m not really want to do is ease everything in your laptops which is factory reset. 😭

i haven't used my macbbok in over 2 years... and now it's completely blocked... i believe it's the date and time that wasn't set 'automatically' so it's 2016 in it now... and i can't fix it bcz the password re-entering is required to be able to access and fix date and time... so when i put the password there's always ''server error'' due to DATE expiration... now how would fix this.. plleeeaase help SOS

Hallo, I've just been looking at this as I have an IMac with OS Mojave and the problems will be as per following: Log-In server is not for your Mac optimised and must be updated. I have had several infos as MF Manager is not..... MS Excel is not........ Vodafone mobile Broadband ist not ........and many others.
It seems that in the near future my Mac will not operate at all. Now I am German and my Mac is also in the the German language so not quite sure how to tackle the problems. Has anybody any ideas. The shop where I purchased the IMac was not helpfull and Apple was'nt either.

Woo! I couldn't get Safari to update to 12.1.2 (on Sierra 10.12.6) - on _three_ different machines! It would download, then pop up an error saying the file had been deleted...blahblah...(306). Your certificate hack solved the problem! Yay. How did you figure it out? Maybe make a video explaining that!
Amazingly, I also just now updated the other two machines...WITHOUT doing that certificate hack! (and no, the setting had not propagated through the cloud) Crazy stuff. You should work for Apple.
