I honestly think people who are terrified of staying on it or probably on the wrong dose the right dose you feel pretty good. I don’t have any complaints. I’ve been on it for years. People get to focus on stigma from the past live your life, being off ur DOC. Your life will get much better.
I have been on Suboxone 5 years and I honestly I know it’s getting about time for me to quit it. If I was older and in pain then maybe a different story but I’d like to live a life without opioids again.
U can but don’t rush it bro your sobriety is most important having a med that keeps your life on a good path and out of active addiction is worth it.. I quit to early and n point and I payed for it I wasn’t fully ready after a couple years and relapsed
You can my friend, don’t let the nightmares scare you! Reduce slow, over a year down to one mg! Stay there about a month then do .10 reduction every two weeks! When you are down to .15 or so have some clonidine and you’ll be fine! I didn’t even throw up! Very little rls
Hi Dr B . I've been on Suboxone for 10 years. I did come off for 3 years in between. I wasn't a real bad opiate addict but my husband who died 2 years ago was a constant temptation. I don't want to go through withdrawals that's why I stay on it. My life is way healthier now than 10 years ago. I got on it because of a relapse. I had several clean years before Suboxone. I didn't even know that it was an opiate when I got on it. I don't see me coming off any time soon. But I am considering sublocade. I heard you can walk right off of that.
You can over time reduce very slow with no to very little issues! I did it twice and have been off since September! High doses are a sham, you will feel the same on 24 mg to 2 mg I promise!!
I have been on subutex for about 10 years. Currently on 8mg a day. I have quadriplegia and put on subs for pain and discomfort. I’m 65 and feel guilty of being on subs this long. Subs do help. I’m afraid of being on them the rest of my life. I’m afraid of totally losing control!!!
If you lost your teeth as a result of Suboxone you can get big money with a lawsuit. The catch is you have to be on Suboxone for pain not illicit drugs. Sounds like you. Call an attorney. Check it out.
No , Subutex is bupe , only bupe no nalox , naltrexone blocks ur receptors if u try to get high ,may get sick if u use it while using , everyone is different , Suboxone is bupe and naloxone

“Reality is frightening” That hit hard! Unfortunately, I’ve made it the story of my life, feel like I’m too far gone to come back.

50% of Americans have underlying health issues. what's the difference between them needing meds and you?
Sublocade shot is a game changer.
