Why is this not a totally packed house? Such musical superiority deserves ultimate support and encouragement. Very, very well done.

Absolutely beautiful! As a college student majoring in Music and Euphonium studies, this makes me want to work a hundred times harder to be like Mr. Flaten. Absolutely amazing!

Just love this, one of those videos I come back to watch when I need cheering up. Fantastic playing, and I'd argue the ultimate rendition of this excellent solo.

This great Norwegian Brass band is not only one of the best in the world, Tormud is clearly one of the best euphers on the planet. Clean, light tonguing, amazing! The question is, what is Norway doing to produce so many wonderful brass players?

Maybe because of the nature that inspirates the players, idk

Money, they can spend much on culture/music so musicians can live doing what they love.

@@mikze123 Also decent wages for large parts of the population. The average norwegian has plenty free time to devote to doing what she loves best. Some become really good at playing in one of the many brass bands. And some even make it as soloists. Rather than an effect of a purely individual investment, it's at least in part (especially during the first few years) a kind of communal/community effort.

I played Rule Britannia for my jury solo my freshman year of college and loved it, but your performance of this made me want to play this on my senior recital just for the memories.
