I think maybe people are saying she's "perfect" not meaning it literally, but just as a bit of an overstatement to convey how overwhelmed they are with her level of beauty. Also, not everyone is pretty. A lot of people are, but not everybody. Most people are average. That's how bell-curve distributions work.
