totally saw that guy on alto then i was in Bangkok city like three or so years ago in a little place down a dark street where the students used to meet and he was totally going for it!. great to see him still at it. that was precovid...goodtimes.
Brings back memories from the mid-90’s in the East Village NY. A small jazz bar just up and running named Diana’s. Next to I believe a club named NW3. Does anyone remember? I believe it was on 10th street? But back then you could smoke cigarettes in bars. Must have hampered a lot of the wind instruments players. I wonder how Charlie Parker got a long in his day with the wide acceptance of cigarette smoking?
