Lol. I mean, that's still a lot. If anything it says a ton that you're *reducing* it to a sizeable city/neighborhood's population to make it seem "less bad". Kind of a fu**** topic for those guys to even engage with, optics wise. Then again, they are literal Nazis, so I guess optics aren't really a part of the curriculum.
Re-releasing this on the heels of Year of the Dog or whatever it's called is a masterclass in being almost halfway decent at marketing. It took me until now to actually watch this; thanks Algorithm!
The vampire intro is seriously funnier than any sketch I've seen from Gilley and Keeves, I think you should leave, and key and Peele. Laughed my ass off.
I remmber like immediatly after Stav left there was a half year span were every episode was Nick barrating Adam to get the monolog down. I don't wanna think it was all for nothing...
It's funny to just casually have 2 pronunciations of a word you flip between, but on top of that, nobody on set thought that it was worthy of a re-take to get 2 of the same.
This show is excellent. The opening sketch was well written, funny, creative... Both Nick and Adam seem to be natural actors. The quality of the filming/audio/lighting/ ect was legitimately professional. To see something of this quality on say Comedy Central would make sense, but the fact that they produced this with a tiny fraction of the financial resources of Viacom and it's expensive film equipment & staff of writers, AV engineers and such, that's dam impressive. The scope of what they are doing is ambitious, but if they continue to publish this high level of content, independently... Wow! Well done guys! Also if you go back a few episodes, to the Jadikiss interview, the opening sketch (chronologically) is the second part to this. It's Nick & Dracula and it's f*@&ing hilarious. Check it out if you haven't seen it.
That red lighting in the intro skit really impressed you eh? lol But I feel you. Between the random Walmart floor lamp in the intro, the jarring jump edits during the monologue & splicing in old tv commercials, you could've fooled me into thinking Scorcese was involved in this production.
🫠 yeah I think I'm just referring to all the opening sketches, and that longer episode where Adam thinks Nick has overdosed on "drugs & alcohol." And the Jadakiss one where Dracula tells him "this is the gayest thing I've ever seen.
I remember when artists would only do Nardwuar interviews because their manager most likely talked them into it and you could visually see how uncomfortable most ppl were with him 😂
You could do a full-length Dracula film and I would actually go see it in theaters. The last movie I paid to see was probably Anchorman 2 : Electric Boogaloo, so you know my taste is excellent
@@matthewsnyder674 On 'cumm running' - I'm not sure whether that was just a joke or if you've actually tried it but if you haven't, you should. @19:30 Nardwuar tells the guest when it's a gift. "Here is a gift for you..." He is NOT an 'indian-giver' as DeMarco and Friedland were implying ... Yes, Nardwuar, through his network of music historians, presents super-rare collectors items to guests to comment on ... but he's always careful to declare gifts up front. A lot of this bullshit stemmed from Insane Clown Posse's Violent J misunderstanding that everything he was handed was a gift - and started a whole bitchfest about a keychain he thought was his.
I love how adam subconsciously tries to go back to his normal interview and comedy style and then just switches back to the chill funny convo, like interrupting with random celebrities last names and just moves on with no acknowledgement

Great interview Adam. So crazy to see the beginning of this generation’s Charlie Rose
Is that the guy with the tiny face?
Crazy to think Mac DeMarco is the first black person on TAFs. Stunning and Brave
