Big help!
Chris you are 100% correct, alcohol addiction is physical and it should be treated with supplements because your helping the body recover a natural healthy balance. ( and prayer is always good ) .
Supplements are great but proper nutrition in the first few days of recovery is key.
drinking is so awful and yet took so long to walk away from it
best thing you could do in your life ; Give up Booze ! all of it forever ; it is only a poison and your body will repair itself every day for years
Hey guys. Iv been through this. I was horrible. Although I did it on my own it don’t mean anyone els has to. I hope and pray all of you get better in the best way possible. Stay positive and get better. Your strangers but you have my best wishes. ✌🏼

I am on that same boat right. Doing it on my own. First month was hell, now I am just going through paws. Did you ever feel sick and like it was the flu?
Thank the internet
@@d.s.1406Flu ??? Felt like aids and a heart attack. Withdrawals are brutal.
Your videos and your reasoning really make a lot of sense. I've watched and read lots about alcoholism but your views are a breath of fresh air. Thank you!
I have been drinking caffeine free diet soda ( contains Phenylalanine), helps with sugar and alcohol cravings. Been sober for over 4 months now.
eek. that stuff has aspartame in it--cancer causing.
I'm afraid of the withdrawal symptoms. It's scary:(
Honestly when he said some sort of Primal instincts for alcohol I fully understand what he means by that
Rock star sugar free drinks help me. They have taurine and other aminos. Lots of B vitamins too.
Thats worse for you than just drinking sugar soda.
Thank you for your advice im in a rehab center right now and i ordered supliments you mentioned. I never wanna touch alcohol again. Such a vicious substance
Lemon balm tea helps; it's like taking a benzo to control the anxiety; also it helps stabilize your gaba levels in your brain. Good luck.
thanks Chris, REALLY appreciate you taking this time to share what has worked!!
Great stuff! Thank you for being a pioneer of New Recovery. God bless.
Yes ! Keep it coming. Great information. Thank You for helping us ! Monna
We Appreciate your time and Knowledge!! Thanks.
You are right on with supplementation, it is and slowly has shown to be the safe alternative to medicines, which can often have detrimental side effects, I worked at GNC for 2 years while I was in college, as a health sciences major, alcoholism runs in my family, and I found myself drinking and abusing alcohol far too often,
Everything you have said makes absolute sense and is spot on, with various experts that have studied these supplement protocols for years, I will mention one expert in particular,
Charles Poliquin, an Olympic Strength coach, recommended L-glutamine
To his clients, to curb their craving of carbohydrates, during Ketogenic diets, I give you props, as this is only one example of what you have just shared with you're audience!!! Thank you!
Thanks. I'm on day 3 and struggling mostly at night. I bought the supplements today and looking forward to anything to help me get through this first week.

The spiritual experience “they” want you to feel has nothing to do with actual Spiritual reality. Heal the body and the ability to properly seek true Spirituality. I’ve been in and out of rehabs, detoxes, councilors, and aa. The path you are pointing to appears to be a correct way. Thank you for your posts.
You are like a breath of fresh air my friend! My dear late Mother studied these wonderful life changing supplements and minerals all of her life and passed that passion on to her family even though we often resisted. Lol
I am in recovery from severe alcoholism and couldn't agree more with your convictions and the proof is in the pudding as they say. Never give up as the need for this information is so dire and so great. Thank you and God bless 🙏😇🥰🙏❤️
I wish you the best in your recovery,Christine. I'm wanting to help my Son with his addiction to alcohol. God bless you!
@@denisehughes6337How is your doing now ?
Gave up totally 19th November. Drink chamomile & honey tea. Got some non alcoholic wine for xmas dinner table. Had to mix it with orange jyice & chuck rest away. Just looking at the bottles reminded me of evenings drinking wine. Gone off alcohol totally. Feel better & more energetic. Craving chocolate but its xmas👍
Part of the reason people crave chocolate is for the magnesium, especially the dark chocolate, 72% or higher
Thank you for sharing your wealth of information. Very helpful!
Thanks so much for this video. Very helpful!!
Great help here. Thanks! ❤
Thank you so much for your brilliant advice. God bless you.
Well said on your conclusion. I'm on day 6 of recovery and your video is a huge help. Thanks.

Thank you for sharing this info! Just ordered my supplements. And Thank you also for mentioning anhedonia - I’ve never heard that term before but it completely describes how I feel - unable to feel joy over the good things in my life. You’ve given me hope that my brain chemistry can be improved for a better life!
Any updates ? Blessings...
Dude, MAD SUB on this. Im getting these items tomorrow.
Magnesium Glycinate or L-Threonate is a superior type of magnesium I think
Magnesium is amazing, it seems to cover all the bases. A family member of mine has not touched a drop of alcohol since he started taking it last week.
Natural ways that are better and people should know the truth! Thank you!!!!
Excellent video, very helpful. Thank you Brother!

Wow this is great information. I liked and subscribed your channel. I'm still battling the cravings every bloody day so I hope this is the answer to my issues.
Thanks for your videos, they have been incredibly inspiring and sooo helpful. Only on day 2 but your videos made me realise a lot of my day to day issues stemmed back to my daily 3 -4 glasses of rum ....will try the dlpa as i can resonate with that black and white feeling....malaise even...Thankyou thankyou thankyou

Hi Chris looking great mate! Looks like the supplements worked for you. Greetings from Scotland.
First of all, I thank you so much for your informative videos, and giving back to humanity. Secondly, I just admire your authenticity and plus, you are so handsome😘!!!!!!. God Bless you!
Hi guys! I know exactly what u've been thru!! Right now since last yr. Ive taking green & red kratoms. It works for me! Keep up & be safe!!
Subscribed!
Awesome, thank you
I believe everything you say. I take a lot of what you take, and tried AA, etc. many years with very little long term success.
AA works if you work AA
Been following your videos , they really make me feel good and thanks for all input .... getting better all the time ... 40 days

How ya doing Frank?
been struggling with booze, as I am trained to highly function on 4 beers and a shot of whiskey, and I work for hours..gonna give this concoction a whirl, thx broski
In my life, i dont dream of drinking. Im more bored so i drink but i dont like the taste. The dopamine always came from spending time with friends.
Magnesium and zinc have really helped with my sleep👍
Another beneficial one is Kudzu Root. It lessons alcohol cravings if you take it about 2.5 hours before you think you might crave a drink. If you do drink you also usualy end up drinking less if you had the Kudzu.
very good video xx
Day one with all the supplements. Thank you for posting this video :)
So how many days has it been now and how do you feel?
I just subscribed!
Thanks buddy. I never took vitamin b before but started taking B Complex and also taking D3 and Zinc and Vitman 3 and omegas daily. 2 weeks in and things don’t irritate me as quickly and I can remember things more east and can think a few sentences ahead before speaking.
D3/K2 are supposed to be taken together.
Thanks 4 the info been suffering 4 years
this is so helpful. how much DLPA do you recommend?
Thank you I will give these a try
Thank you!
So agree the body needs a balance and a it of brain rewiring to get to the spiritual side
drinking while watching this like others Im sure looking for hope ,no hope here but great info
Great for helping with the physical side but what about the mental obsession that tells me this time it might be different so I'll try drinking again
Best of luck to everyone trying to stay away from alcohol☘️☘️☘️
I very much appreciate YOU!!!
The DLPA is amazing Thank You! Some people say Kudzu root helps with cravings, and epsom salt baths help as well.
Those baths are magnesium.
What are the mg to take of these vitamins?
I recommend magnesium glycinate. Magnesium citrate is a laxative, and you'll likely end up losing minerals in the process.
Just don't drink that much. Little sips throughout the day.
You are right!
Iv drank vodca for 5 years almost daily tapering and prepping now to stop. My oral supplements arrive tomorrow. I started myself on b12 injections this week and I feel like a different person. Energy levels up clearer thinking sleeping better even. Has anyone else used b12 injections? If so what did you experience?
5HTP, Kratom, Cayenne
Ok, got it
I’ve noticed that I do not want to drink alcohol at all since I began taking 5HTP.
What time of the day do you take it?
I noticed I went back to alcohol when I didn’t continue taking it religiously each night. I just made that connection too.
You're #1
after 10-15 hour after your last drink ?,it would depend how much you drank ,it is sensible to taper off ,then you would be ok for 48 hours ,then suppliments would be beneficial ,after 10 days I feel fine
Hey Chris, Biosteel hydration mix seems to offer some of the helpful supplementation you've mentioned. Have you or any of your clients used it? If not, do you have a take just based on a reading of the nutrition label? Thanks.
Good info ! 👍
What are the mg of the 3 different vitamins?
Can we take these all together? How much and should we take them with food?
How and when do i take these?
Can you use use multivitamin with all ingredients
I think people start drinking because they feel so freaking Shitty. Because if they felt good naturally, then why would you really drink to start with. I think for sure you need to fix the physical aspect of it and it is a physical problem. They’re trying to tell people with physical problems and that you’re just not spiritual enough to quit and that makes them feel like complete shit on top of it. Our current system isn’t working we need more information like this out there.
Thank you. I’m struggling with recovery I’m on day 6 no alcohol but I’m very emotional and tired but then I can’t sleep at night(probably because I sleep all day). I feel everything that you are talking about. I’m also taking cbd and vitamin D
Thanks! I might start taking CBD oil; I am really struggling too.
The Magnesium supplements have really helped me over the last six months of being sober. It totally changed my recovery - insomnia and mood were big ticket items for me and the magnesium has been amazing. Thank you so much for your informative videos.
Struggling with adrenal fatigue, anhedonia, trying to quit nicotine. I can stay away from alcohol more easily (although I know I’ve done damage from binges more than addiction per se. taking NAC, Mag, Vit C, D, and E. Any other recommendations?
How do you take them... All at once and how many times a day
Can you take these supplements if you take Naltrexone and Bupropian... ??? I take these 2.
What's the difference between L phenylalanine and DL?
Magnesium glycinate is better. Take Moringa, Vitamin k2 d3, and pottasium bicarbonate
Can you take these with antidepressants.. I would like to try this way haven’t found any medication work yet! Would like to try this! Please let me know know
Can take GABA for anxiety too
Would dl phenylalanine be considered a relapse for recovering alcoholics or adddicts in AA, given its a synthetic dopamine booster ? Only curious
It's absolutely true. I spent 10+ months of my life going from recovery house to recovery House trying to stay sober, trying to find a job and feeling like absolute garbage while they fed me food that barely would sustain me. Now I was definitely happy to have a place to stay and a chance to get sober and something to eat. But I struggled to achieve anything, felt physically ill and weak and had extreme anxiety and depression. Eventually I did get sober. But it was grueling hell! Not that it was supposed to ever have been a walk in the park..but I found out later that it could have been a lot better....Fast forward 7 years later. I'm drinking around the clock again and I have to stop or my life is going to implode. The intention is set, but this time it's different because I have a job a home and loving wife. Also, I became an amateur researcher on supplements during my last clean stretch. This time I was armed with scientific information that I put to use and literally my health was so much better in 2 weeks that I had the drive to stay sober. What took me years to achieve health wise the last time I sobered up was reached within a few months. I can't say enough about proper supplementation after addiction. While I don't think you can just take supplements and get sober ( Imo you have to REALLY want it and take a look honestly at how your actions affect you and those around you and strive to change those behaviors) I BELIEVE THAT THEY BRING YOUR HEALTH BACK A LOT FASTER IF DONE CORRECTLY AND GIVE YOU THE BATTLESHIP TO WORK OFF OF TO REBUILD A MEANINGFUL LIFE...
I think that’s why he talks about the 4 pillars of recovery. Gotta do all of them but repairing your brain is left out of
So many programs.
Could you briefly share your most helpful supplement/nutrition changes? Thanks
@@_derpderp magnesium threonate in the a.m. and calm mag powder at night. B complex derived from yeast middle of day. As well as a rainbow brand multivitamin a few hours later. Hemp oil everyday as well.

2:14 Magnesium citrate (anxiety/insomnia)
4:30 L-Glutamine powder (kills alcohol and sugar cravings)
6:19 Dl-phenylalanine (release endorphins)
Can I take l glutamate instead
Did you explain how L glutamine helps? It seems like its for muscle recovery and joints. Its effect on intestinal lining seems to be the only thing ie gut health?
You are so smart, thank you. Please make more

Okay, did it help?
Absolutely and it’s less than 3 beers.
@@xxxxjoan9559 good I'm glad, I just need some more support, it's getting harder to stop while I get closer to actually being done with drinking. If that makes sense. And with covid I th sa no I'm bored drinking at this point
See what you think after you read the book. A lot of people take his course. They have a Facebook group on the course and the people are so supportive. Not like AA.
Does DLPA slow you down or speed you up? i don't want something that is going to make my heart race
Kudzu!! It's a miracle.
Leeleeturn pls tell me about kudzu and how is it to be taken. I want to give it to a family member. Can it be secretly put in food

should i take magnesium or 5 htp ?
37 male..Day 3 since i stopped binge drinking nearly every weekend for 17 years Got magnesium citrate, NAC, l theanine, bvitamins and multivitamins. How long should i take these supplements? Everyday or every other day.
How did you go? high dose omega 3's important. It was really quick i forget what i took, day 5 seemed to be able to be able to walk past a pub and minimal feelings.
This my 2nd day taking L phenylalanine so too early to tell if this is helping but just wondering I've been taking these multi vitamin b complex tablets and just wondering if L phenylalanine has any of these vitamin bs in it?
Appreciate if anyone can let me know thanks.
