Just adding this on because you're so convinced that the developers are saints and the community, who PAYS the developers, are lowly peasants who should keep their mouths shut. They will be nothing without premium payouts. Without players buying money and gamepasses. Trust me, they don't care about you, or us, for that matter. They only care about money.
bloxburg is lowkey boring, like i remember so many people used to roleplay on them and i find that fun if you make it funny. however there are barely any people in servers.
Yeah, the chat is almost always empty + even if you roleplay, there's better games to roleplay at, like berry avenue and brookhaven, since you don't need to focus on building houses, keeping your moods up, towing fees and bills
but just like the free bloxburg update, that might be short-lived... i bet that their (bloxburgs) target audience are kids-teens and even a few adults who still play roblox and as a student, i usually get excited over updates but that excitement will always die down. As much as i would love a city update, i still think that bloxburg should change its update on the finance/economy of players more as that is where the players are having beef about...
bloxburg is boring. who wants to join a game with a town that has literally nothing to do, and you can only build? games like berry avenue are way more interesting because they have MULTIPLE things to do and they actually listen to their community. Berry ave players asked for an airport, they got it. School, they got it, and so on. Bloxburg needs to add more things to their to get players to want to play and not build all the time.

I feel like what they’ve tried to do was give us lower pay and more bills to try and make us spend robux to get money for the game but they obviously didn’t understand that we’ll rather work or quit the game than to spend robux to get money for the game.

The worst part is that its not that realistic, my cousin always used to say when we played bloxburg was “i shouldnt have to get fined because i dont take a shower.“ and people could last days not eating and so long without showering, sure its gross but its true.

Even though the bloxburg devs done this, I kinda blame Roblox too. Some of the updates Roblox made forced bloxburg to change their game too. As an early bloxburger, I see free players outside my house asking for freebies or to rp. I don't hate them, it's just straight up annoying. I hope bloxburg changes soon for the better

I remember when people used to roleplay a lot, the chat would be so active, but it gets really disappointing to see dead players not so interested in rping and they are dead quiet.
They give us stuff nobody ever asks for, it’s kinda annoying. It’s also annoying how they’re making it so easy for new player to start when everyone else started off confused. They act like the new players won’t ever find out about the pizza job and work there for a higher pay. I used to make 1,000-2,000 dollars a delivery now I make about 500-700 it’s actually so frustrating.
I usually got 100k in 25 minutes, so that's an even worse decrease for me anyway, you're 100% right, and the only thing that keeps me playing bloxburg is recording videos. I would have left if I didn't record videos in bloxburg
I remember when I used to play Bloxburg 24/7 during Covid. But like you said, most kids that played during that time are now teens and either lost interest or have no time to play. While younger kids join the game, they have a hard time making money like older players did. Basically I’m trying to say that the job payment decrease only made players more upset and not making them interested in the game.
I don’t mind changes, but when the changes completely ignore and scam players is when it annoys me. Like the equal pay update. I have excellent employee and used to make like 2k per delivery at my lowest moods, now I have to work twice as hard to get half as far. I wouldn’t mind if the items became less expensive. I also bought marvelous moods, so that I can pair it with excellent employee. Now, that gamepass is useless not to mention we FAINT. There isn’t even a hospital.. so why do we have hospital bills? And the developers ignore us, they could not care less about what players have to say Edit: this is also the reason I switched to sims! Way more freedom lol.

I find it so ironic that they hired all these people a couple months ago to listen to the community and only made changes most players didn't want, meanwhile I think the last update before Bloxburg was bought that annoyed non twitter people was 4 years ago when they made you press buttons when cooking.
⚠️PLEASE READ⚠️ As a new BloxBurg player I quit the community at the speed of lighting because of the people who bully and the lack of players, now hear me out I honestly was really excited to join this community, but after finding out about the people who bullies you and hearing other people's experiences I just quit. Mostly because I thought we would all get along and also because alot of old players doesn't approve of the game being free, and i get it if it's for the sake of buying the game and not getting your ROBUX back or the amount of people asking for money. I myself experienced that once and it was annoying ngl. But I mainly left the community because I didn't feel welcomed. And about the lack of players it would say there is around 70k people online but every server's chat is so dead. As in roleplay-ers and sometimes builders too because people would work so hard and not talk to each other because the speed of money you get too is so slow. As a seasoned bloxburg player, i apologize you didnt feel welcomed. Realistically this game is kore for building or atleast in public servers. However there are neighborhood RP's you can join if that catches your fancy that is if you're a roleplayer. Most people in public servers are usually building and therefore more focused on building than chatting or they're grinding for money at jobs. So yeah public servers are usually dead and dry. Sorry you joined at the worst I've ever seen bloxburg. You guys were added in at an unfair time when Bloxburg decided to make the unnecessary changes that ultimately killed the vibe of bloxburg entirely. Wish circumstances were different for you guys
i 100% agree! i hate how bloxburg “promised” a map revamp on the day that the game would become free but instead the map was the exact same! also, i also hate how they added equal pay to the jobs and lowered the higher paying job’s salary. instead they should’ve kept the incomes the same and raised it for the lower paying jobs.
I feel like they lied about the promise so people don’t keep asking them, which is just bad and rude and need to listen to the people who play their own game.
I have been a big fan of bloxburg for so long so it’s sad to see that it’s dying. But it’s also infuriating how they don’t listen to anything we say and instead just add terrible updates that no one cares about. What’s even more frustrating is that other games actually LISTEN to their community. Take berry avenue for example people ask for an airport they get an airport. People ask for a school they get a school. And Bloxburg is so much older than berry avenue and we don’t even have a school or a hollow gable/triangle roof which players have been asking for FOR YEARS. It’s actually so weird how they don’t listen to our needs and instead just add random things. Like whenever I join a neighborhood that role plays I have to go to the town hall for school. I used to earn 70-85k per 30 mins but now it’s 50k in 30 mins 😭 Also IMO new players said that they are already bored of the game and it’s hasn’t been 3 months and the player count has returned to how it was before 😭
Lowering the pay is just stupid since people dont have the time to take longer to work on a video game so the new owners should just listen to us and fix themselves

Unfortunately this is something that happens with many games on Roblox, and many times they end up being sold to companies that don't care about anything but money and don't want to put in the effort to create their own game and listen to their community.
This is so true! The devs need to listen to us because we are the ones the updates are effecting! I guess it does affect them financially some of the updates but we do need some sort of voice in the updates we wanna see. Also they are called UPdates for a reason, they are meant to make the game better not make people loose interest or get annoyed!
I am SO glad that you made a detailed video analyzing this, and especially with supportive evidence! I used to play Bloxburg all of the time, never to roleplay, but to build! I’ve always found it fun to build and it was easy to keep building because I earned a good amount of money in a short period so I could build for longer without having to work as often. But now, even with being fully leveled up in work experience which “increases” pay, I have to take a significant amount of time to work which makes me less-inclined to work more to continue playing 🫤 It’s frustrating because I love Bloxburg and I want to build but I can’t find the motivation due to the decreased pay. The lack of updates relating to what the community wants as well as the developers feeling money-hungry also contributes to this. I sincerely hope Bloxburg doesn’t die out but the developers need to learn the consequences of their actions somehow. REMINDER! We can all SHOW our DISAPPROVAL by DISLIKING THE GAME IN ROBLOX and PLAYING LESS, which will eventually force the developers to pay attention and respect our opinions, hopefully leading to change.

here before 1 hour!! if im being honest, everything has gone downhill since coeptus sold the game , the really positive updates were not good enough to make up for the bad ones , and I hate how they heavily implied things like the map revamp to be released the day it went free when they did not get released , if they just reverted pay and removed hospital bills / towing bills I think everyone would be a lot happier and begin playing again. also , I have quit permanently , or , at least until they get their act together.

No, they're clearly ignoring us because we've made it super clear that we don't like the many updates that they've given us, but they're turning a blind eye to it. You could be right, but the chances are slim.

Personally in my opinion, it’s 60% more of the devs fault. “Why are you ranking the players 40%?”, hear me out. *devs fault - 60%*: Overviewing this, a game developer should listen to what the players want as an update in the future. Players begged for a school; never got it. More players begged for more building items; we slightly got it but was not a main focus like we need it to be. We are begging for 2 separate servers - one for rping and another for just building - we havnt got it, yet. The game started going down hill when the fainting update was released just so they can get rid of exploiters. Hearing over that just ruins the people who control banning’s reputation at steak. When some exploits it’s their job to ban them, not make everyone else suffer. It’s litterly like a whole class at school get in trouble just because of one person’s behaviour, it’s honestly abundantly abhorrent. I know people have a gamut of ambivalence about this but it’s the devs’ job to fix it. Don’t just make people suffer with fainting, just ban the exploiters, it’s not that hard! Yes I know it’s for exploiters, BUT, why do we need to pay when we faint!! I don’t see the point in paying! It’s just turning into USA’s medical care and maybe the UK’s depending on the priminister we get. It’s etheir take out fainting and keep the job payment system as it is, OR keep fainting - if the devs want us to pay that bad - and make the job system pay the same amount as the old pizza planet salary was if they want equal payment that bad. I have my own opinions for the game becoming free. Yes it’s useful for having our friends who don’t have robux join their friends but bloxburg is loosing out on their money - they mainly get the money by people playing the game. What I would recommend for the devs if they ask on their twitter if the majority of the players approve of the update idea; i know that would be leaking it and the devs don’t want that but at this rate they won’t have a choice. Personally, leaking it is gonna keep the players excited and join the game more often. i think making the game free was a huge mistake - they should have made really really cool updates to the game like more building features, islands, a school, maybe even an airport and planes, stuff like that which make the game exclusive. a lot of the revenue comes from the 25 robux paywall, and at least that amount of revenue would be guaranteed still. ppl would probably wanna buy the game that way.
I was kind of annoyed that Blocksburg went free but at least I was excited to get the prizes they gave you such as the couch car but I am upset that you could literally just buy the couch car if you are not an early bloxburger. I want my 25 robux back! I loved it way more before they sold it. I think the car towing and the fainting is so dumb.

"bloxburg is becoming more realistic..." yes, everything is becoming more realistic... but how is making all jobs pay the same, realistic to real world society? efficiency, moods, etc are all relevant but if realism is their aim, they should add in factors like skills that will affect their job pay... That is more ideal, rather than having a communist paying environment... Also, I was one of the people who quit bloxburg in 2023 cuz I was busy with academics and it was getting boring. Like adopt me and any other role play game, it's basically grinding for money as the majority, doing tasks, role-playing a bit, and repeat. It did not take me a few weeks to just get bored of bloxburg, with additional factors of some of my bloxburg friends slowly quitting the game and moving on with other thrilling genres in roblox. I just hope that bloxburg can kinda learn from adopt me to add interesting events and probably a 2x weekend, or just increase the pay such that everyone has a better experience ;-;
This was a really good video. It’s so painful to see Bloxburg taking this route instead of strengthening their player base. Unfortunately when it comes to company run games, money is always going to be their first priority and it’s so sad the way they go about it. I’ve seen time and time again where strengthening the player base and the connection with loyal fans has led to success and profits, but many game companies don’t take this approach. I also hope Coffee Stain will listen to the community because in instances like this, the community is almost always right. The one thing I would caution is our use of developers when talking about stuff like this. I’m confident in saying that the developers want what’s best for the game and may even agree with the community but ultimately the decisions come from those high up (from Coffee Stain and potentially the Embracer Group) and many of the developers must simply do what they’re told. Most of them probably aren’t big decision makers. 😕
that’s a really good point! it’s entirely possible the management/higher-ups are controlling this. it’s so scary having bloxburg being run by a big company. however, if they want to profit, like you said, they have to listen to the community because they aren’t in a good spot. it benefits everyone for them to listen - they make more profit and players are happy - so i don’t understand why they still won’t!
i think the reason why the updates are slump atm because they're working something big. ive noticed the same pattern as royale high where the game only recycle updates for 2 years! many theorized is that they're working on the new school (which was released last year), so let's hope the lack of updates will make up when the next big thing is going to be released

I quit because my data was rollbacked and the team hasn't done anything about it for months. I've been in contact with them for months fighting about it, and they finally told me they would fix it two weeks ago. Nothing since. I lost 3 huge builds.

For real tho, bloxburg I joined the game and I had 136.6k+ then I worked for 3 hours on level 50 on burger job with excellent employees and then I only had 137.8k+. This is ridiculous and a waist of time. Bloxburg is so stupid and boring game, pre build houses are nice but honestly the game has changed so much and I hate it. The devs are so stubborn and annoying with their small updates. The player count is dropping and I agree that Roblox is considering bloxburg getting shut down for good. The problem also (although I support the removal of faint, towing, etc.) is that people want everything fast, I remember when I was 13-14 years old I played hobba and I made pixel by pixel my own rooms, customized to play or roleplay (I did something like high school roleplay) and people came and roleplayed, I also had a group. I was happy that my room was seen throughout the game and people were coming in, people didn't care about the construction, or the mood, etc. Similar to neighborhoods, which are successful if the players' streak is successful. Nobody says it, but bloxburg is the neighborhoods that literally keep it alive. But who pays for it? You have to pay month to month or yearly a big cost that not everyone can afford? That was up to you, that's your roleplay, a system wasn't going to force you to do things that interfered with your interests in a multiplayer game. Well, that's why games like hobba, club penguin, gaturro world, etc. had their success, bloxburg is a bit different, but it still keeps the same characteristics as those games. So. Do you realize why others migrate to other games? Do you realize why people got excited and had reached a high number of people once it became free? They got disillusioned, roblox is changing, bloxburg too and it smells like it's ALREADY starting to die, you just don't notice it. Hopefully Coeptus made the right bet in selling their game.

For map updates, they need to take notes from games like Adopt Me. Colors and graphics are extremely important to engage people and Bloxburg is very dull. It looks like a small town in middle America in the 90s. Another thing is over the span of its run, player’s continuously built things the developer(s) never added. It is unfortunate because the reality is a lot of the kids and teens who built schools, cafe shops, etc. gave up doing all the work/have simply grown up. The game had a relatively niche target market as only enthusiastic people were willing to purchase the game. This created a strong and loyal community, but nobody will hold on to something that doesn’t change for several years (or even gets worse..). I feel like this is the surface level of the game’s problems because the creation of other games can also be to blame. When I avidly played Bloxburg in 2016, it stunned me and gave me more of a high than even my favorite game, MM2. Now the younger generation has games like Adopt Me that blow Bloxburg away.
Let’s not forget that Bloxburg said paid players would get special rewards and yet these rewards were also given to the free players. even though many people complained, bloxburg did nothing to fix this issue. Again, they don’t care about us.
I’m honestly disappointed. I was expecting a map update but no. The npcs never move and the map is still the same. The devs need to start ACTUALLY doing updates everyone wants instead of saying released a new update when really they just add fireworks or pre-built houses. The map is just so outdated.
New player here. In the past, I’ve thought many times of buying Bloxburg. I had the robux, but I wasn’t feeling spending them yet. When it became free, eventually, I tried it out. It was actually really fun, and I had many ideas for building houses… But everything was just so expensive! I realised I had to play for hours to make some money, the game passes weren’t very attractive and I knew it’d be tiring to always keep my moods up. Still, I would love to come back in the future if I had some free time.
Bloxburg even said they were gonna add a big reward if you bought it in beta and they just give a car (basically) and a trophy…. What’s so big about that? Like I’m not being ungrateful but still I sorta expected a little more than that..

I used to play this game 24/7 but since the original owner sold the game I’ve been joining off and on, I’ve found more exciting games to play. Bloxburg just needs to put more work into their updates because more games keep updating and bloxburg is just staying the same and adding mini updates which won’t stand out.
To fix the money system this is what they should do 1. Make the bloxburgers pay 1.3x more because you do tons of stuff like make burgers chop vegetables etc. so like in real life you would get paid more because you do more work. 2. Add a bank make it pay 1.5x more than pizza delivery but make it do various tasks Also make it so you can put money in the bank and every real life day it would go up 1.1x Ex. (1m goes in, 1.1m comes out. 100k+ earned)
I feel like people are being dramatic. But at the same time we wanna play bloxburg without having to spend twice more time working than actually playing. It makes no sense playing a game you're more bored in than actually enjoying. People get busy, nobody has time to play a game where you spend most of the time being bored and working. Can the devs not see this. I know they have lives outside of bloxburg but still. They bought the game acually listen to the community. Why can't there be a button in setting like realistic mode and classic. Where realistic has all the bills and there is a hospital with the old job pay and there is efficiency when working while the classic has no efficiency no bills no fainting no car fees. Its is a simple yet effective fix. After the bloxyburgers update i told my friends i like the new devs and what updated they're making. Well I jinxed it.The game has huge potential. After the update I've worked less because I don't have the motivation. And when I saw this video I was so happy to see a youtuber speak the truth and their opinion and not be scared.
Another thing that happened that isn't well known is equal pay broke the UI on the console versions preventing them from playing a few weeks it was fixed only for the build mode to be broken to this day with no signs of it being fixed anytime soon
i hate to see the game die 💔 but i feel like it just doesn’t have the same vibe and new things to change the game fully. when i think about how the game has changed since i started like 7 years ago, all i think of is the colour wheel and basic shapes. things like the homeless items are good for small details however i think should be added AFTER community suggestions are taken place. i also remember at one point they were allowing people to upload blender files for suggested new items- but the idea got scrapped which would of been so good. i understand the complexity and detail in the game may mean updates take a while but with the budget i assume they have seeing as they bought the same, i assume a bigger team is in budget and possible. i wish the team could also take accountability for negative feedback on updates. just by changing the mindset and changing back the jobs would increase player base. i also agree that making the game free felt rushed. i and everyone else assumed that there would be a map update, but with nothing new it was quite a bad time for it. i haven’t played the game in weeks when i used to play every day 🥲 praying for the bloxburg improvements
the idea of a school as well that people have been begging for years. i think a game like brookhaven has had such good success because it has all the parts that bloxburg players want, and have given it in a quick time. it’s inevitable that the player base will switch over to brookhaven even though the bloxburg concept has been around longer and is more unique

Even though the bloxburg devs done this, I kinda blame Roblox too. Some of the updates Roblox made forced bloxburg to change their game too. As an early bloxburger, I see free players outside my house asking for freebies or to rp. I don't hate them, it's just straight up annoying. I hope bloxburg changes soon for the better

They give us stuff nobody ever asks for, it’s kinda annoying. It’s also annoying how they’re making it so easy for new player to start when everyone else started off confused. They act like the new players won’t ever find out about the pizza job and work there for a higher pay. I used to make 1,000-2,000 dollars a delivery now I make about 500-700 it’s actually so frustrating.
I usually got 100k in 25 minutes, so that's an even worse decrease for me

I remember when I used to play Bloxburg 24/7 during Covid. But like you said, most kids that played during that time are now teens and either lost interest or have no time to play. While younger kids join the game, they have a hard time making money like older players did. Basically I’m trying to say that the job payment decrease only made players more upset and not making them interested in the game.
I don’t mind changes, but when the changes completely ignore and scam players is when it annoys me. Like the equal pay update. I have excellent employee and used to make like 2k per delivery at my lowest moods, now I have to work twice as hard to get half as far. I wouldn’t mind if the items became less expensive. I also bought marvelous moods, so that I can pair it with excellent employee. Now, that gamepass is useless not to mention we FAINT. There isn’t even a hospital.. so why do we have hospital bills? And the developers ignore us, they could not care less about what players have to say

As a new BloxBurg player I quit the community at the speed of lighting because of the people who bully and the lack of players, now hear me out I honestly was really excited to join this community, but after finding out about the people who bullies you and hearing other people's experiences I just quit. Mostly because I thought we would all get along and also because alot of old players doesn't approve of the game being free, and i get it if it's for the sake of buying the game and not getting your ROBUX back or the amount of people asking for money. I myself experienced that once and it was annoying ngl. But I mainly left the community because I didn't feel welcomed. And about the lack of players it would say there is around 70k people online but every server's chat is so dead. As in roleplay-ers and sometimes builders too because people would work so hard and not talk to each other because the speed of money you get too is so slow. But to clear things up I joined the community again in hopes that people will change and because hey there is many nice players out there.

Realistically this game is kore for building or atleast in public servers. However there are neighborhood RP's you can join if that catches your fancy that is if you're a roleplayer.
Most people in public servers are usually building and therefore more focused on building than chatting or they're grinding for money at jobs. So yeah public servers are usually dead and dry.

I have been a big fan of bloxburg for so long so it’s sad to see that it’s dying. But it’s also infuriating how they don’t listen to anything we say and instead just add terrible updates that no one cares about. What’s even more frustrating is that other games actually LISTEN to their community. Take berry avenue for example people ask for an airport they get an airport. People ask for a school they get a school. And Bloxburg is so much older than berry avenue and we don’t even have a school or a hollow gable/triangle roof which players have been asking for FOR YEARS. It’s actually so weird how they don’t listen to our needs and instead just add random things. Like whenever I join a neighborhood that role plays I have to go to the town hall for school. So bloxburg needs to change because I’m thinking about quiting

Unfortunately this is something that happens with many games on Roblox, and many times they end up being sold to companies that don't care about anything but money and don't want to put in the effort to create their own game and listen to their community.

I guess it does affect them financially some of the updates but we do need some sort of voice in the updates we wanna see. I am SO glad that you made a detailed video analyzing this, and especially with supportive evidence! I used to play Bloxburg all of the time, never to roleplay, but to build! I’ve always found it fun to build and it was easy to keep building because I earned a good amount of money in a short period so I could build for longer without having to work as often. But now, even with being fully leveled up in work experience which “increases” pay, I have to take a significant amount of time to work which makes me less-inclined to work more to continue playing 🫤
It’s frustrating because I love Bloxburg and I want to build but I can’t find the motivation due to the decreased pay. The lack of updates relating to what the community wants as well as the developers feeling money-hungry also contributes to this. I sincerely hope Bloxburg doesn’t die out but the developers need to learn the consequences of their actions somehow.
REMINDER! We can all SHOW our DISAPPROVAL by DISLIKING THE GAME IN ROBLOX and PLAYING LESS, which will eventually force the developers to pay attention and respect our opinions, hopefully leading to change.

if im being honest, everything has gone downhill since coeptus sold the game , the really positive updates were not good enough to make up for the bad ones , and I hate how they heavily implied things like the map revamp to be released the day it went free when they did not get released , if they just reverted pay and removed hospital bills / towing bills I think everyone would be a lot happier and begin playing again. also , I have quit permanently , or , at least until they get their act together.

Overviewing this, a game developer should listen to what the players want as an update in the future. Players begged for a school; never got it. More players begged for more building items; we slightly got it but was not a main focus like we need it to be. We are begging for 2 separate servers - one for rping and another for just building - we havnt got it, yet. The game started going down hill when the fainting update was released just so they can get rid of exploiters. Hearing over that just ruins the people who control banning’s reputation at steak. When some exploits it’s their job to ban them, not make everyone else suffer. It’s litterly like a whole class at school get in trouble just because of one person’s behaviour, it’s honestly abundantly abhorrent. I know people have a gamut of ambivalence about this but it’s the devs’ job to fix it. Don’t just make people suffer with fainting, just ban the exploiters, it’s not that hard! Yes I know it’s for exploiters, BUT, why do we need to pay when we faint!! I don’t see the point in paying! It’s just turning into USA’s medical care and maybe the UK’s depending on the priminister we get. It’s etheir take out fainting and keep the job payment system as it is, OR keep fainting - if the devs want us to pay that bad - and make the job system pay the same amount as the old pizza planet salary was if they want equal payment that bad. I have my own opinions for the game becoming free. Yes it’s useful for having our friends who don’t have robux join their friends but bloxburg is loosing out on their money - they mainly get the money by people playing the game. What I would recommend for the devs if they ask on their twitter if the majority of the players approve of the update idea; i know that would be leaking it and the devs don’t want that but at this rate they won’t have a choice. Personally, leaking it is gonna keep the players excited and join the game more often.
What we want from the devs - as a summary:
• A SCHOOL.
• A HOSPITAL.
• more building things for the catalog.
• separate servers for roleplaying.
• for the job system to be ACTUALLY fair instead of the devs’ “fair”.
• the people who ban exploiters to actually do their job properly instead of an update punishing the innocent.

We have an act in this too, to shatter the truth; though, I don’t know if remorse is considered in everyone or not. Let’s not delete people’s houses, exploiting the game, and others. All of us want a respected community, right? We need to give eachother this. Let’s not have the “og” players be rude to the new plays, and not have the new players be rude to the “og” ones.
Using my ideas to continue with this topic, if people have no rp ideas, use social media to help eachother instead of gatekeeping. I think this may solve the solution A BIT for this. Ik it won’t be a lot but it could slightly get us started again. This may not seem like a 40% instead of a 10-20% BUT having a respectful community is a major to our experience with this.

i think making the game free was a huge mistake - they should have made really really cool updates to the game like more building features, islands, a school, maybe even an airport and planes, stuff like that which make the game exclusive. a lot of the revenue comes from the 25 robux paywall, and at least that amount of revenue would be guaranteed still. ppl would probably wanna buy the game that way.

"bloxburg is becoming more realistic..." yes, everything is becoming more realistic... but how is making all jobs pay the same, realistic to real world society? efficiency, moods, etc are all relevant but if realism is their aim, they should add in factors like skills that will affect their job pay... That is more ideal, rather than having a communist paying environment...
Also, I was one of the people who quit bloxburg in 2023 cuz I was busy with academics and it was getting boring. Like adopt me and any other role play game, it's basically grinding for money as the majority, doing tasks, role-playing a bit, and repeat. It did not take me a few weeks to just get bored of bloxburg, with additional factors of some of my bloxburg friends slowly quitting the game and moving on with other thrilling genres in roblox. I just hope that bloxburg can kinda learn from adopt me to add interesting events and probably a 2x weekend, or just increase the pay such that everyone has a better experience ;-;
This was a really good video. It’s so painful to see Bloxburg taking this route instead of strengthening their player base. Unfortunately when it comes to company run games, money is always going to be their first priority and it’s so sad the way they go about it. I’ve seen time and time again where strengthening the player base and the connection with loyal fans has led to success and profits, but many game companies don’t take this approach. I also hope Coffee Stain will listen to the community because in instances like this, the community is almost always right. The one thing I would caution is our use of developers when talking about stuff like this. I’m confident in saying that the developers want what’s best for the game and may even agree with the community but ultimately the decisions come from those high up (from Coffee Stain and potentially the Embracer Group) and many of the developers must simply do what they’re told. Most of them probably aren’t big decision makers. 😕

i think the reason why the updates are slump atm because they're working something big. ive noticed the same pattern as royale high where the game only recycle updates for 2 years! many theorized is that they're working on the new school (which was released last year), so let's hope the lack of updates will make up when the next big thing is going to be released

I quit because my data was rollbacked and the team hasn't done anything about it for months. I've been in contact with them for months fighting about it, and they finally told me they would fix it two weeks ago. Nothing since. I lost 3 huge builds.
Ikr I find it so annoying! All I see is people building houses or working nothing else and there’s less than 12 people in the server! And me only having 300k and get 100k per hour it’s so hard! Ive slightly quitted bloxburg. I’m scared it’s gonna turn into a royal high
For real tho, bloxburg I joined the game and I had 136.6k+ then I worked for 3 hours on level 50 on burger job with excellent employees and then I only had 137.8k+. This is ridiculous and a waist of time. Bloxburg is so stupid and boring game, pre build houses are nice but honestly the game has changed so much and I hate it. The devs are so stubborn and annoying with their small updates. The player count is dropping and I agree that Roblox is considering bloxburg getting shut down for good. Tag Roblox so they can shut bloxburg down. Thanks so much for reading❤
Literally Everytime I join a server the chat is empty and there’s no one asking for roleplays and there’s no roleplays going on now
Honestly bloxburg became so boring :/ before everyone was roleplaying and it was so fun roleplaying miss the old day:(
the updates have been very hit or miss. i'm hoping they take opportunities put right in front of them and fix issues they've made, as well as actually listening to the people who are playing their game! likeeee make it make sense

I miss old bloxburg when everyone would role play and make friends :( now I’m every server people are only working and building.
The problem also (although I support the removal of faint, towing, etc.) is that people want everything fast, I remember when I was 13-14 years old I played hobba and I made pixel by pixel my own rooms, customized to play or roleplay (I did something like high school roleplay) and people came and roleplayed, I also had a group. I was happy that my room was seen throughout the game and people were coming in, people didn't care about the construction, or the mood, etc. Similar to neighborhoods, which are successful if the players' streak is successful. Nobody says it, but bloxburg is the neighborhoods that literally keep it alive. But who pays for it? You have to pay month to month or yearly a big cost that not everyone can afford?
That was up to you, that's your roleplay, a system wasn't going to force you to do things that interfered with your interests in a multiplayer game. Well, that's why games like hobba, club penguin, gaturro world, etc. had their success, bloxburg is a bit different, but it still keeps the same characteristics as those games.
So. Do you realize why others migrate to other games? Do you realize why people got excited and had reached a high number of people once it became free? They got disillusioned, roblox is changing, bloxburg too and it smells like it's ALREADY starting to die, you just don't notice it. Hopefully Coeptus made the right bet in selling their game.

i stopped playing bloxburg few days before the last update cuz of the devs.. i cant make money anymore because its boring to grind so long.. they should sell it to Coeptus again lol...
For map updates, they need to take notes from games like Adopt Me. Colors and graphics are extremely important to engage people and Bloxburg is very dull. It looks like a small town in middle America in the 90s. Another thing is over the span of its run, player’s continuously built things the developer(s) never added. It is unfortunate because the reality is a lot of the kids and teens who built schools, cafe shops, etc. gave up doing all the work/have simply grown up. The game had a relatively niche target market as only enthusiastic people were willing to purchase the game. This created a strong and loyal community, but nobody will hold on to something that doesn’t change for several years (or even gets worse..). I feel like this is the surface level of the game’s problems because the creation of other games can also be to blame. When I avidly played Bloxburg in 2016, it stunned me and gave me more of a high than even my favorite game, MM2. Now the younger generation has games like Adopt Me that blow Bloxburg away.
Let’s not forget that Bloxburg said paid players would get special rewards and yet these rewards were also given to the free players. even though many people complained, bloxburg did nothing to fix this issue. Again, they don’t care about us.
This. Bloxburg needs to stop ignoring us, and if their game gets worse, it's their own fault.
I’m honestly disappointed. I was expecting a map update but no. The npcs never move and the map is still the same. The devs need to start ACTUALLY doing updates everyone wants instead of saying released a new update when really they just add fireworks or pre-built houses. The map is just so outdated.

New player here. In the past, I’ve thought many times of buying Bloxburg. I had the robux, but I wasn’t feeling spending them yet. When it became free, eventually, I tried it out. It was actually really fun, and I had many ideas for building houses… But everything was just so expensive! I realised I had to play for hours to make some money, the game passes weren’t very attractive and I knew it’d be tiring to always keep my moods up. Still, I would love to come back in the future if I had some free time.
Bloxburg even said they were gonna add a big reward if you bought it in beta and they just give a car (basically) and a trophy…. What’s so big about that? Like I’m not being ungrateful but still I sorta expected a little more than that..

The devs kinda deserve it if the game goes down after ignoring us, if they listened to what the community wanted, more people would be excited and keep playing the game for longer.

Back then you can go rp with someone across ur house on normal servers now u have to join an active neighborhood which is sometimes very laggy
I used to play this game 24/7 but since the original owner sold the game I’ve been joining off and on, I’ve found more exciting games to play. Bloxburg just needs to put more work into their updates because more games keep updating and bloxburg is just staying the same and adding mini updates which won’t stand out.
To fix the money system this is what they should do
1. Make the bloxburgers pay 1.3x more because you do tons of stuff like make burgers chop vegetables etc. so like in real life you would get paid more because you do more work.
2. Add a bank make it pay 1.5x more than pizza delivery but make it do various tasks
Also make it so you can put money in the bank and every real life day it would go up 1.1x
Ex. (1m goes in, 1.1m comes out. 100k+ earned)
I feel like people are being dramatic. But at the same time we wanna play bloxburg without having to spend twice more time working than actually playing. It makes no sense playing a game you're more bored in than actually enjoying. People get busy, nobody has time to play a game where you spend most of the time being bored and working. Can the devs not see this. I know they have lives outside of bloxburg but still. They bought the game acually listen to the community. Why can't there be a button in setting like realistic mode and classic. Where realistic has all the bills and there is a hospital with the old job pay and there is efficiency when working while the classic has no efficiency no bills no fainting no car fees. Its is a simple yet effective fix. After the bloxyburgers update i told my friends i like the new devs and what updated they're making. Well I jinxed it.The game has huge potential. After the update I've worked less because I don't have the motivation. And when I saw this video I was so happy to see a youtuber speak the truth and their opinion and not be scared.
Another thing that happened that isn't well known is equal pay broke the UI on the console versions preventing them from playing a few weeks it was fixed only for the build mode to be broken to this day with no signs of it being fixed anytime soon
i hate to see the game die 💔 but i feel like it just doesn’t have the same vibe and new things to change the game fully. when i think about how the game has changed since i started like 7 years ago, all i think of is the colour wheel and basic shapes. things like the homeless items are good for small details however i think should be added AFTER community suggestions are taken place. i also remember at one point they were allowing people to upload blender files for suggested new items- but the idea got scrapped which would of been so good. i understand the complexity and detail in the game may mean updates take a while but with the budget i assume they have seeing as they bought the same, i assume a bigger team is in budget and possible. i wish the team could also take accountability for negative feedback on updates. just by changing the mindset and changing back the jobs would increase player base. i also agree that making the game free felt rushed. i and everyone else assumed that there would be a map update, but with nothing new it was quite a bad time for it. i haven’t played the game in weeks when i used to play every day 🥲 praying for the bloxburg improvements
the idea of a school as well that people have been begging for years. i think a game like brookhaven has had such good success because it has all the parts that bloxburg players want, and have given it in a quick time. it’s inevitable that the player base will switch over to brookhaven even though the bloxburg concept has been around longer and is more unique
i totally agree with you! thank you for commenting ❤️ not having a school after 8 years is soo detrimental to the game since every other rp game has one. instead of updates nobody asked for like lowering job pay to “fix the economy” (what economy… it’s a video game lol) a school would really bring people’s interest back! but my hopes are honestly so low for these developers because it feels like they only care about their wallets :(
