Limbus Company and the Leviathan Webseries are both direct continuations of Ruina's story. Although Limbus' more streamlined combat and lack of deckbuilding could be a turnoff for some LoR fans. Limbus even recently revealed the fates of some of the Ruina characters, as well as having skins that carry over abilities from previous books.

I've been listening to some of these covers for a while - Roland, Angela, and Gone Angels in particular, but I finally decided to come check out this full one, and man... Each floor is amazing so far. Currently at Tiphereth's, and it's downright beautiful to me. I say that having literally never used her floor except for its realizations in all of my playthroughs. Keep up the good work!

It's got a truly unique battle system, which is the main appeal for me. I don't know if that would be enough for you, but I've also found the story pretty decent, and I don't feel like it's confusing as someone who hasn't played the previous game in the series.
The artstyle is something that I fell in as an artist, the story is something that captivated me as a human being, and the music is something that speaks to my soul because the meaning of their lyrics are unusual but manage to capture the underlying hidden lessons/themes about human society that Project Moon(company responsible for creating the lore behind Lobotomy Corp, Library of Ruina, and Limbus Company) tries to portray through these three games. Project Moon is a passion based team.
