Thanks Billy. Ken here from Western Massachusetts. Really appreciate this video. Just got my mini Friday and Ive been watching all the videos I can to prepare for my first flight. This one is the most comprehensive I’ve come across. I had just read the users manual covering everything you showed. To read it then see your video was priceless. After I got it set up to fly I put it on the floor in my kitchen and launched. This was after I set the height. Was able to turn it around without breaking anything and then land it. While in the air it moved over our pub table so I had to move it back over the floor where it took off from to land it. I did this several times just to get the feel of it. We’ve been having some bad weather so I haven’t taken it outside yet but cant wait. I’m sure you’ve figured out that this is my first drone. I’m looking forward to a lot of fun as we travel and also look forward to more videos from you.
Another excellent tutorial. I've just bought a new Mini and can now unbox and set it up with confidence! As an aside, I live in New Zealand where the skies are very clear and the sunlight is very bright. I note most high quality drone/Mini videos appear to be shot during the "golden hours." Cheers

I always like your videos going back to my first Phantom. My experience with MP,Spark,etc is that it is difficult to pull the stick back and hold it on the same course. Is there a trick to this? I ordered a MM on October 30th via credit card. I have not heard anything yet but understood ship date of November 11 was first ship date. Are others experiencing this issue.? I am ready to fly!

When I connect my glasses, my Dji googles to the remote of the Mavic mini, I get battery status and how many satellites it takes. Also shows if there is a memory card in the quadcopter. Wonder if there will be an update that can show picture too?

On the android app I don't seem to have the camera settings. I can take video and camera shots which the icons are above and below the main shutter button. However I can get into settings or quickshots as there is no box button to get into these menus?

how do you know all this stuff? just learning, thanks for the help. One thing that puzzles me, is why the drone loses GPS contact. Setting on the ground, it may lock into 7 or 8 or even more satellites, apparently medium strength, but then when I fly, it is up in the air, should be better access to satellites, but will warn of losing GPS connection. (I noticed your drone, setting stationary, has varying GPS connection too) Is there anything I can do about this? Seems potentially problem-causing? Thanks
Since the iPhone is connected to the Mavic Mini remote controller via the lightning port on the iPhone, can I assume there is no way to power my iPhone with an external battery ("power bank") while flying since that also requires the lightning port and cable?
Being new if I’m using my iPhone what happens if I get a phone call? Do I turn something’s off? How about if I go bigger to a iPad what do I need to know about that. Hot spots ..?? I’m very cautious so before I fly my first drone .....I need these answers lol Thank you for all the information
I would REALLY like a tutorial on using the editing software that is supposed to be very user friendly. Would also like to know how to transfer the files to my device that I’m using as a monitor. I have been simply pulling my battery out of the drone to change batteries, but the manual says something about pushing down on a button to release the battery? Help please.
Question. Does the DJI Mini have audio capabilities to record while recording video. Recently purchased the mini and just learning the functions and getting my feet wet as to what to do and not to do. Also I have watch many RUclips tutorials and yet have not seen any one recording audio with the mini. Any feed back will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch.
Have calibrated the IMU and compass but when in flight have the green flashing light but will change to red for a few seconds then return to green but sometimes will blink red again any reason for this to happen..?

Can you go over exactly what intelligent flight modes are included (quick shots same as other Mavics?). You couldn’t show them in this video because you weren’t flying.
1. Is there a method for pausing the Mavic Mini directly from the controller? My Mavic Pro has a pause button right on the controller. 2. Does the Mavic Mini land itself, and shutdown, or do you need to land it the final 18 inches and then turn off the motors?
It is super crucial to know which I don't think you mentioned that you should be ultra conscious of the gps connection strength always being around 4 or 5 bars because when lower it can get thrown into ATTI mode and cause many to crash if not prepared for this....which just happened to me recently in the city which is why I am researching more and saying something here. Hi mate - just to avoid confusion - you mention to check the payload mode off if you add the guards... I think you mean to check the payload mode ‘on’... right?

Does setting the exposure at a certain number lock it or is there something else you have to do to make sure it's locked at where you set it.

Is it possible to use a different USB charger like the one that comes with GoPro or is the Mavic mini charger a unique voltage
