Yep- in my AU, before Elizabeth died, she had orange hair because her birth mother was Clara, when she did die, while dead, her hair slowly turned blonde due to Carol, her step-mother, married to William and Elizabeth's hair also turns blonde due to being a ghost. (I know it doesnt make any sense- but i like it because i couldnt decide if i like the blonde hair * not canon* or the orange *canon*).

The Non-Stereotype makes sense actually, cause the non-version seems a bit too extreme in certain aspects or have expectations no one would usually assume, like whether William still kills, or Liz is abusive and kills those for dad's love or fun. I also found it annoying that most people assume Liz is a blonde. She's obviously a red-head (orange hair is sometimes referred as red hair. You can have it so that her hair became more red than orange because of her connection to CB)

Exactly. Some people give her blonde hair OR EVEN BROWN HAIR LIKE W H A T? Her hair is orange. And then they make their Elizabeth disgusted by stereotypical Elizabeth's bright orange hair when that's literally her canon hair color LMAO. Also, sometimes people make CC's hair black or light brown (someone even made him blonde one time NSKSBDJSDJKS) when his hair is just plain brown. One last thing, Michael doesn't have black hair.

Edit: This is just my opinion. They can look like what they want, but I like close-to-canon designs. However, I don't hate different designs. It just confuses me.

(In my Work-in-progress AU, Michael was allowed to go with her to Circus Baby’s, and he ended up witnessing her getting scooped into Baby, even attempting to get her out.)
